Fun spot to get a refreshing drink or a frozen pop! So many great options that it's difficult to decide. The staff is fast and friendly and although it has limiting seating it's worth a visit!

Interesting little place with many drink choice combinations but let's talk cookie and scones. The cookies are OMG delicious. I love love loved the chocolate chip Oatmeal cookie, sugar and chocolate chocolate one (can't remember the actual name of it). I liked my drink choice but not sure I would drive out of my way for a semi flat Dr. pepper, coconut, blackberry soda. I like my sofa a bit more carbonated and think I prefer my Dr. Pepper with fireball lol. just sayin...

In A Nutshell: -If you're thirsty AF & need a cold drink to swig on in hot St. George, then Swig is your spot. -This local business founded here in 2010 features sodas, energy drinks & cookies. -The sodas are a basically virgin drinks minus the alcohol. -I tried the Big Al & its a great mix of Diet Coke, coconut & lime. Overall, it's a drive-thru so you're in/out very fast.

Daydreamer with Sprite Zero instead of ginger ale

We stopped by Swig on our way back to Las Vegas from St. George. It was a pleasant and refreshing way to end our day trip and keep us hydrated (well, as hydrated as soda can make someone). I ordered the Daydreamer, but with Sprite Zero instead of the ginger ale that it's supposed to come with. The Daydreamer comes with cranberry and pomegranate, as well as fresh lemon. I found it to be very enjoyable and refreshing. I also ordered the sugar cookie. I found the cookie to be overly sweet. Plus, it was chilled, as if it came from the freezer or refrigerator. I wouldn't expect the cookies to be freshly baked, but I would've appreciated them to at least be room temperature.

Swig is a the local favorite. It is not the place for a meal, but is a great place for a drink and a cookie. They mix sodas with different types of milk or cream and flavorings. Their signature drink is the Big Al, a Diet Coke with coconut and lime flavorings. Ask for coconut cream. You can also ask for the cookies to be frozen. I love their drinks as a special treat, but the cookies are too sweet. One problem is that you cannot see the menu until they are about to take your order at the drive-through. Another is that there is no indoor seating, like with old-style Dairy Queens.

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

Came across this place & decided to celebrate our wedding here after everything was done!…read more Made a reservation online assuming it could be busy for cinco de mayo. We were able to be seated without an issue, they just opened around the time we came in. The ambiance was cool & different & the secret door was a cool touch. Drinks were great. Loved the variety they offered. I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Overall, it was a cool vibe, drinks were good, however not sure if I would return when I do come into town.
