Every time we visit Saint George we have to make a stop at Swig. It is one of the highlights of our stay. It is a fun, cute, delicious place to get unique drinks and sweets. My favorite combo is the Texas Tab (Dr. Pepper, vanilla and coconut cream) and the coconut cookie. It's a must try if in Saint George. read more

As expensive everything is at Swig you think more time and money would be put into proper training in all aspects of a making a business successful. I often never complain when a mistake is made. I'll ask for my drink to be remade, but it's frustrating when repeatedly you are buying drinks for others and can't just take a swig out of all the drinks you've ordered and then leave and find out that multiple drinks are missing a certain ingredient. So I have drive back? Do you know how annoying that is? The constant mistakes and rude employees are getting old and has made me avoid Swig. Your employees also don't apologize and remake your drink with a smile, you can tell it's an annoyance. Something that could be solved with proper training in people skills perhaps? As of now we have given our business to Fizz where they are more friendly and we rarely encounter mistakes. read more

Their walk up is closed more often then not. Which is annoying because we walk there expecting them to be open and they don't serve us. For example today Monday at 4:45pm we walked there and only the drive thru was open. I'm not sure their reasoning for this. But if you are going to go there make sure you only take a car or you will be very disappointed like we are! read more

Oh man, this was just not good at all. We came here because my niece raved about it in her blog but everything I tried was crap. Had to see what all the fuss was about this Utah soda mix craze, as we don't have them in So Cal. I tried the popular Big Al which is a mix of Diet Coke (I got Coke Zero), coconut syrup, and fresh lime with lots of crushed ice. Omg it was sooo good and refreshing, not overly sweet at all. I was so bummed when I went back Sunday to try a different soda mix, however unfortunately everything in Utah is closed down on Sundays :(. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Utah for a visit! read more

I have always loved swig and the products they have. I decided to come in and sit down but i was very disappointed with the service. a couple of the workers were not friendly at all. DO NOT order bubble tea (boba, pearl tea, whatever you choose to call it) at Swig. The tapioca pearls tasted like lighter fluid and were essentially inedible. Were they burned? Spoiled? Not really tapioca pearls? Who knows, but shame on me for tossing two of them in the trash (at $5 a pop) rather than marching back inside and demanding a refund. WORST BOBA EVER. Ten dollars flushed down the drain on that order. Also, I know you shouldn't order hot chocolate from a place like this, but...I ordered hot chocolate from a place like this. PRO TIP: If you make hot chocolate from a packet, actually mix it until the sugar dissolves before serving it to the customer. Ugh. The sodas were fine, but I suppose it's difficult to mess those up. Good stuff here. Not only for you soda fanatics but also for you health freaks too. I always get the fruit water, which is just water, ice cubes, and real cut(not purée) strawberries and mangos. I love the wild and bloody wild. The service, however, was poor. I understand that mistakes are bound to happen, but one time they completely messed up my order and when I told them, they asked me to calm down and that they are sure that they gave me what I ordered. I started asking for receipts after that, which has stopped this from happening again, but it was definitely disappointing. read more

I love getting the drink called the missionary every time I go with extra cream but recently I went and I ordered a sugar cookie with pink frosting usually it is phenomenal this time you could tell that it was made differently it didn't have that smashed look to it. I looked it like a smoother top and it definitely tasted different I do not like the new sugar cookies at all!!!! The cookies are very cold and are sometimes freezer burnt. A lot of the avalanches I have had do not have ice cream in them which they're supposed to have. They don't answer the phone and there is no attention to detail. It's unethical and unorganized. read more

Tasty drinks and cookies. I ordered the Raspberry Dream (Dr pepper, coconut cream, raspberry) and a my husband ordered the Texas Tap (Dr pepper, coconut cream, vanilla). Both were good, but tasted similar to an Italian Cream Soda because of the coconut cream. I think I'd prefer my sodas with just flavoring instead of cream. My husband agreed. We also ordered two cookies, plain sugar cookie and a dirty ball (chocolate sugar cookie with chocolate icing). The Dirty Ball was better. Both were heavy/thick cookies, and were sweet enough that they competed with the drinks instead of complimenting them. Had our drinks not got the cream, it may have been better. There are several drink/cookie joints like Swig in Salt Lake City (where we're from), but the prices and cookies were better here. Wish we'd ordered different drinks though. read more

Ive been coming to Swig for years and have never been unimpressed with the service or quality of their food and drinks but my visit today changed that. When my family and I walked in, none of the workers smiled or greeted us. I normally wouldn't worry about it but the employee who took our order was rude and couldn't seem more annoyed with our presence. I work with people and I know how exhausting it can be but she didn't seem to put much effort into the customer service. When I got my drink it was wrong. The employee who fixed my drink was friendly and helpful. When the next customer came into the store, multiple employees greeted her. I can't help but to feel like our experience was far worse than any we've had over the years of coming to Swig. read more

Swig is so neat! I never would have thought that a drink and cookie shop would be so popular! But it is! The line is always rather long, but the staff moves through the line rather fast. I wouldn't recommend getting their shaved ice though, it is good but not as good as some of the shaved ice stands scattered throughout St George. Their cookies are good! And their mixed drinks are the best! I would definitely recommend going here to fill your soda fix! read more

Horrible customer service. Employees were throwing cards around with attitude. Not friendly at all and not welcoming at all. Not impressed.

Swig has sort of gone down hill since going away from the "mom and pop" drink stop. We used to love them and went on the regular. Now we don't go often. A drink is always wrong, teenagers working there not knowing how to work a computer, have a conversation with you, proper etiquette, customer service skills, or even knowing how to count back change. Even with a wrong order, they made us feel like we did something wrong and they were out out by fixing the mistake. We love flavored drinks but will go to fiiz from now on. read more

Update: So...after reading the response from Swig, I want to address some things. 1) I normally don't get this mad to have to address something like this EVER. I'm too busy. 2) I wasn't refunded the entire amount twice. I was refunded the drinks I never received the first time. After emailing (and being ignored), and writing two different reviews, I was given a full refund of my entire order again...I'm sure in hopes that I would just go away. 3) They obviously don't understand why I was upset in the first place. We were treated very rudely while I stood there thinking....let's just get through this and get out of here. I never said anything rude to their employees. THEN a proverbial slap in the face again....here Nicole T is responding rudely AGAIN. With this type of attitude and example, it's no wonder your employees treat people the way they do. A simple apology and saying that they would receive more training would have went a LONG WAY!!! Customer service is gone folks. Nobody teaches anyone how to be nice anymore. read more
