Other customers were asking why the owner didn't come help, send additional staff, or simply close if they knew only one employee would be working. She mentioned that she had informed her boss, but nothing was done. This review is not a reflection of the employee -- she handled a stressful situation very well. It's a reflection of poor management and staffing decisions. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting this location again.

Today will be the final time I spend my money at this establishment. I got an automated text requesting feedback. I had a few minutes, so I obliged this time and decided to fill it out. I simply stated that "the special drinks of the day should have a price listed by them." To then receive a reply message from a different number within minutes was shocking. What was even more off putting is that whoever was replying to me wanted to be argumentative when YOU ASKED ME FOR FEEDBACK! I have never experienced this before and find it to be extremely unprofessional. I kept my review earlier short and sweet however: 1) Your sales are deceiving! For example, today was BOGO ALL drinks. So I chose one of the listed drinks on the specials board which was a lavender matcha with boba. I'm thinking I order this and one other drink, one of them should be completely free. However, that wasn't the case when I got charged 99 cents for lavender flavor and 99 cents for oat milk and 99 cents for boba. The drink is no longer FREE. This is where the confusion comes in. Every other place that has BOGO charges you for the most expensive item and then gives you the second item FREE!! It shouldn't matter how you customize it, it should still be FREE! 2) Your "manager" needs an attitude check. Each time I come in there idk the prices(because you don't list them by the specials and charge extra for everything) and she is not friendly when asked to explain things. 3) The bathrooms smell like urine EVERY time I come 4) There are always dirty tables, several workers, and very few customers. The tables should cleaned more frequently and the floor swept during downtime. 5) A lot of the games for children are sticky and gross or missing pieces. Many of them need to be tossed. I hope you take this review and improve for your current and future customers. Going back and forth with customers after requesting a review is very tacky. I truly hope you don't make this a habit. The time spent typing out a paragraph to me could have been used cleaning your establishment instead.

I politely asked if the bathrooms were supposed to be locked or if they were closed, since both were locked when I tried to use them. She responded with "I guess" in a very dismissive tone and didn't make eye contact, which felt unprofessional. I found it odd that both restrooms were not open to costumers, especially since it was still not even close to closing time. Later, when we received our order, one of the drinks was made in the wrong size. I went back to the front and calmly asked if it could be corrected. Again, she didn't look at me and simply said "oh" before taking the drink without any acknowledgment. I even apologized for the inconvenience, but there was still no response. When the drink was remade, she called out the order and threw the straw onto the counter. Her overall demeanor seemed visibly irritated, which made me feel uncomfortable and confused as a customer. I work in customer service as well, so I understand it can be a stressful job, but there's still a basic level of decency that should be maintained. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very poor first impression of this Gong Cha location. I hope management can address customer service training with staff moving forward.
