I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. And so it was a treat for me to make sounds go back to one of my favorite places. The customer service is as great as I remember it, they still do decaf and sugar free, which is what my order usually is, and they have to order out quickly--and most importantly, it is right. I've had almost all of the drinks on the menu at this point, but my favorite is still the cookie and the caramel. I don't know the name of the girl who it served me today, but she was so great and put a smile on my face-- and reminded me that they do have decaf and sugar free options. So unique and fun. It was delicious. The coffee... oh my. Under the flavour options I saw both lavender and rose, so I asked the barista if he could do both. He did. It got very busy after we ordered and even though we had a bit of a wait for our drinks and food, the barista was such an apologetic sweetheart. He was the only one behind the bar and was kicking ass. He even brought us our stuff directly to our table when it was ready. Highly recommend it here for a drink of any kind on the menu!
