It was toasted so the exterior had a slight crunch to it. Definitely not good enough to endure unwelcoming service. The space is gorgeous. It was very clean, modern, and beautifully designed. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

One of them even made a stellar to go cup of hot cappucino for me, nice foam artwork. We'll order on line after we finish this bag of beans, it's easier...we enjoyed scoping out this place though. Great people and product. I saw some bags of their beans at Main Street Coffee in Rockport and that got me stirred up.

According to their Instagram, they offer tours and tastings by appointment, which I plan to do in the near future. They also suggest calling ahead to order your coffee so it will be ready when you pick it up. I recommend doing that because I did have to wait a little while when I popped in to order. I have been brewing the Columbian grounds at home for my bulletproof coffee with ghee, coconut oil, collagen, and stevia and I swear it tastes like brownie batter. I have never had a more smooth, balanced flavor from a roasted coffee bean in my life. I will continue to purchase coffee beans and grounds from Geva as long as they exist and I will always support any coffee shop who brews their coffee as well.
