I really enjoyed the experience at Swifty. Pollen season is definitely among us, so I needed to spray off my vehicle. What I loved immediately was all of the clean clothes and sprays to use on the inside of the car. What I didn't realize is that you really should drive around into the car wash and back through to that area- the vacuum/cleaning area is first when you pull in from Memorial Dr. They offer single and subscription services here. I thought the car wash itself was great. The only negative is that they did not soap up/scrub the back window of my car when I drove through, so the car itself was cleaned, with the exception of the back window, which was pretty dirty still. Absolutely worth it car wash with convenient location. I've been using them for a year with their premium subscription, the facility is always neat and fully stocked with cleaning solution and wipes. The vacuums are strong, the staff also goes through trash every few hours keeping it spic and span. The unlimited subscription pays off and is great value of money. BEWARE!!! Do yourself a favor and do not patronize Swifty or any of their entities (Mojo Car Wash, Mammoth Holdings, etc). I recently went through their car wash in Decatur on Memorial Drive and it destroyed my almost brand new car. They are refusing to admit fault, accept responsibility or pay for the damage that they did to my car! They told me that it's completely normal and acceptable for their equipment to rip side mirrors off of vehicles and that when this happens, it's the customers fault. They do not care about their customers. Not even a tiny bit! They have absolutely no regard for other peoples money or property and clearly don't care about treating people with respect or doing the right thing. It's sad. If you read other reviews on Google, they seem to make a habit out of doing this to people. read more

I signed up for the unlimited plan. The next month I had 2 separate charges of $19.99 within a few days of each other, both for the same account and same service. I tried visiting the car wash to fix the problem, but they don't open the office. They have only the 2 guys working that guide the cars in. I tried to contact them through the web site, but there are no phone numbers. Only way to contact them is through the chat feature, but it is broken for this location, the web site just hangs. I canceled my membership, but have not straightened out the extra charges and have no way to contact them. I wont speak to the quality of the car wash, but the customer service is terrible. read more

Closing early and closing randomly when you have a brand new car wash opening up down the street is not a smart business move. I would worry about making sure your car wash is in tiptop shape before that new one put a lot of business. I drove there and y'all close 10 minutes early. This place has gone down hill. For months the dryers do not completely dry your car so you are left with streaks of soap and water on your back window. Surroundings are filthy with phlegm and nastiness on sidewalk, all matter of trash and weak vacuums. The attendants are rude and discourteous now and they used to be great, one on Saturday January 25, 2025 working the belt entry got frustrated because I wasn't lining up the wheels on entry though it was perfectly aligned which is why the car rolled into the conveyor without a hitch but he just made a point to shake his head like an ass when I did not a single thing but follow his hand signals. Very weird way to treat a customer. This was the last straw actually because there is a new car wash closer to Avondale I'll be giving a try. read more

Unfortunately I will be cancelling my membership. I've had my membership over 3yrs & have repeatedly asked for no tire shine & the option to be removed from my account since it's not the tier I chose yet it always ends up on my tires and not in a good way. If you have black rims you don't see the dirt but since I have powder coated rims they make the rims look nasty, gross & in fact if I was to continue driving after leaving the wash tunnel tire shine would lap up on the clean car causing smeared tire shine all over the sides of the fenders. It would take damn near 40min to clean my rim after. I don't have time for that so I'm going to another carwash. read more

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago, and they were slammed. The location closest to my house was under construction so I drove to this location, which I normally don't frequent. They gentleman that was working the gate was ALL OVER IT. He was directing cars, keeping everything flowing in an efficient manner, all with an awesome attitude, and smile on his face. He was beyond helpful. The only other person working there was the nice fellow that does the pre scrub before you pull into the actual washing area. He too was doing an amazing job. keeping the cars flowing through with ease, while still giving the cars and trucks the proper scrubbing they needed. To say the very least, I was, and still am, super impressed by these guys. I wish I had gotten their names. I figured this might help them get the recognition they deserve. So, thanks dudes. You drive up, use the complimentary vacuums for your interior & swing around to the car wash area. (I always skip this part) Drive up to the kiosk to choose the services you want & can pay cash, credit or debit at the machine. I always get the wheel scrub & basic - total of $8 - sometimes splurge on the "wax" or protective coating for a few $$ more. You'll be directed where to stop your car, put in neutral, windows up, automatic wipers OFF (I forgot this important step $ broke a wiper), foot off gas. They'll spray down & scrub the gunk off your wheel covers & then the conveyor mechanism starts pulling you on through the wash. After lots of spraying, brushes and flaps on your car, and a good "blow dry", as you sit passively at the wheel, you come to the end & drive away. The whole business takes about 10 minutes & the wheel covers are as clean as the detail place. Great wash, great price, friendly people though you have little interaction with them. I tried to tip the wheel scrubber guys but they politely declined! Otherwise, no human contact to tip. read more

All-you-can vacuum stations practically pay for themselves in quarters savings, and the wash does a snappy, pretty-clean job of getting your hooptie lookin' fresh. Its no hand wash, but honestly I've left supposed "premium" car washes feeling pretty ripped off. I waste no time, always upgrading to the supreme ($14) with a human wheel wash (+$3) so my fly-ass Escape glides through the air dirt-free. From start to finish, this wash will have you clean in maybe 4 minutes. Make sure you remove your antenna and anything that might get blown around though - the dryer at the end of this thing is like facing an EF5 twister. read more

I live in Old Fourth Ward, close to Ponce City Market, and drove around all over looking for a simple drive through type car wash. I lived in Washington, DC, for several years before moving to Atlanta right before COVID hit, so I still do not know the area very well. After going through another car wash closer to me that wouldn't accept my credit card, I just started driving towards Decatur and found myself at Swifty Car Wash. I still do not drive often, and I hadn't washed my car in at least 6 months, and it desperately needed a car bath. This place was amazing! This is by far the cleanest my car has ever been from a drive through car wash, and my mom even asked if I had my car detailed when I sent her a picture after getting back to my apartment (this was the cheapest option / basic car wash available for $8). There were not signs before entering to push in your rear view mirrors or secure your windshield wipers, and I did get a little nervous when I was going through the wash because of the intensity of the wash. I read other Yelp reviews on this place mentioning this, and I would advise to use common sense when going through a wash with machinery involved. I am a regular at this location and have been for years. The level of service has really declined in the past year and more so in the last few months. Untrained and inattentive staff. On more than 3 occasions I have arrived within 30 minutes of their stated hours only to find they closed early. Yesterday I arrived 25 minutes prior to closing and they had already shut down over 50% of the vacuuming bays. All the others were occupied. I sat for a few minutes and eventually honked to gain the attention of an employee. I politely asked if he could open more bays for myself and the other cars behind me. His response, "we are about to close" and walked away. So all of us in line did not get to vacuum our vehicles. So much for customer service at this location. Swifty's is affordable, and the free vacuums are nice. However, my car was not that much cleaner upon departure. I know my car was rather dirty when going in, but a similar style car wash in my home state always left my car spotless, even in their basic wash. SWIFTY IS A SWINDLE!!!!! I usually wash my car at home, and now I know why. I had a coupon from a Kroger receipt offering the deluxe $14 wash for $7 and gave it a try, being new to the neighborhood. I found out a few days later that my debit card was charged $7 for the wash, as expected, but also charged the original $14: that's triple the price I wanted to pay, and the wash was OK at best. I called and spoke with someone at Swifty's, my receipt in hand, hoping they'd reverse the charges. I was told by Clarence "bring a bank statement in to show to my boss, that is all I can do." I understand mistakes happen, especially with coupons involved, Now I'm faced with either eating the extra $20 for a mediocre wash job, or taking the time to speak with the bank, then sitting at the office of Swifty's, Also: there was a 10 minute limit on the vacuums. I did get mine clean in the allotted amount of time, but I'm sure this could be a problem if you have a lot of cleaning to do. There is also a mysterious $60 charge on my card: in all fairness, not sure if this is Swifty's or not, it is still being investigated, but the card was not used anywhere else on that date. Pleasantly surprised with this wash. To set the scene: I can count on one hand the number of times my car has been washed in the 6 years I've owned it, and it's white! I went mainly because I needed to vacuum my interior before picking up my parents from the airport. I paid for the $15 was expecting some of the dirt to be removed, but Swifty got all of the exposed surfaces on my vehicle clean. The young men who were working this afternoon deserve a raise. They did a great job on the pre scrub before the car goes into the automated wash cycle. I would recommend this place and plan to visit in the future. read more

I'm obsessed with my car so I rarely take her to an automatic car wash because it's a bad idea for your paint because dirt gets lodged in the brush and such and scratches your car, on and on. That being said, this place is great. A few weeks ago I needed to get my car washed but didn't want to interact with people... at all. So I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a go. It's brilliant. First, they have the free vacuums, and there are few things I love more than vacuuming my car so imagine my delight. Now, it says limit it to 10 minutes, but a) they didn't have all the docks open, and b) because I was there around 3:00 it was me and maybe two other cars so I was a rebel and vacuumed as long as I liked, and no one said anything. They have two things to clean your mats, one that just gets basic dirt out then another called a rhino that uses water and basically shampoos it. Mind you, I'm terrified of something going wrong so I used neither, but I was so happy to see the rhino in person because I had seen videos of the magic it can do so in the future when I haven't recently had my mats steam cleaned I'll likely give it a go. The wash itself was good. I got the manager's special, and it left behind some dirt on my wheels, which bothered me, but that was the only downfall. Afterwards I used a microfiber towel (I keep a stockpile in my trunk), and dried her off. Minus the wheels and the scratching that I accept occurs in these washes, it was awesome (and the minus star is regarding the wheels, I'd never punish them for the inherent pitfalls of this kind of car wash).
