This place is great! The upstairs looks drastically different from the basement floor. Both have a great atmosphere! The whiskey selection was great and at a reasonable price too! The service was very good and the bartenders and servers were very attentive and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

Hands down best cocktails in the area. Bartenders are knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly. They have bar seating and tables. I'd recommend making a reservation because they get busy. I love that they have one big ice block that they chip ice off of so you get a big piece of ice in your cocktail. They go to a lot of effort to break up the ice. Cute place for a date or a pre or post dinner cocktail. We didn't try it, but apparently they've won awards for their Irish coffee!

Personally, I feel this bar is just a tad overrated, given how packed, loud, and hot it gets. But, then... it is a bar, isn't it? I came in for their famous Irish Coffee after hearing everyone rave about how good it is. After trying it twice, all I can is: It's aight. It might place 3rd on my list of best Irish Coffees I've ever had. I've also tried a few of their other cocktails, ranging from the fruity to the creamy, and overall, the quality is pretty up there. Perfect flavor to texture ratio. None of that sugar bomb sweetness that most other bars in the area might try to push your way. These guys know their mixology. Snagging a spot later in the evening can get pretty tough, especially as you get closer to the weekend. But, if you've never tried it, you'll definitely get a different vibe than most other bars you'll find in the area. It's a bit snazzier. Added bonus: If you play your cards right, you may show up during one of their live music sessions.

Amazing cocktails and very kind staff. Fun vibes and not pretentious at all. Everybody kept ordering Irish coffees. I enjoyed the vodka mixes and backstage. Get downstairs if you can. They have a pianist!

Such a cool place in Soho! Found the place on a few "famous bar" lists and so wanted to try it out on our trip to London. We were able to get reservations to the downstairs of the bar (I think upstairs is walk-in only?). This review is for the downstairs section. There is definitely a speakeasy vibe to this place - dark with "candles" and some mood lighting. There were tables of 2 all the way through 8. There were tables as well as bar seating. The downstairs has its own menu - the menu is so detailed and wonderful to read on its own. It really shows how much effort went into the creation of each cocktail. You are also able to order cocktails from their regular upstairs menu. But if you're downstairs, why not try some of their creations? The drinks are in the 11-15 pound range on this menu which seems about right for the area and vibe. There is something for everyone. Our server was also so great and recommended drinks based on our preferences. It goes without saying that the drinks were all incredibly delicious. Would definitely recommend for a cute date or a fun celebration!

I saw the people who opened Swift were alumni of the famed bars Dead Rabbit and Milk & Honey, and decided to check it out. There are multiple levels, though I believe the upstairs is walk-ins only. Got lucky with a same-day reservation for downstairs. (Definitely would make one, because otherwise they will make you wait in a line outside.) There was also a very strict 1 hour table limit, but that was fine because we had dinner reservations, and they were clear about the limit when I made the reservation. My boyfriend and I tried a few different £12 cocktails that would easily be $20 in NYC: + Roadrunner + White Water + Praline flip + Sandhurst The Roadrunner was my favorite, but they were all great. Menu is fun and inventive (I loved the celebrity illustrations).

Super cool vibes with really nice service. I had been to the Shoreditch one before which feels a LOT different in terms of ambience. That one feels more cafe/daytime vibes and this one seems a lot more like a speakeasy cocktail bar. There was a bit of a queue to get in around 8:30 on Friday but we only waited 5-10 minutes or so. We were seated downstairs (the place is a lot bigger than it looks) and were given some time to peruse the large and interesting menu. I ordered a drink that was a riff on an old fashioned and really enjoyed it although I found it a touch too sweet for my liking, but that appears to be the case across london cocktails. Service was very nice and they were helpful with cocktail recommendations when I described what I wanted. Worth its reputation as the 30th best bar in the world? I'd say no, but definitely worth a visit.

Rated one of the world's best bars, Swift appears to be a very good Soho bar (with a line to get in at peak times), but downstairs where you need reservations well in advance is a cocktail lovers paradise. This is the type of place where bartenders come after hours for the best cocktails. Well worth making a reservation and the trip.

Great service. Our waitress is wonderful. The Irish coffee is excellent. Very well-balanced. Not too sweet. The hot and the cold is perfectly merged. We sat upstairs. But next time I would go downstairs to listen to the piano bar. A lot of very interesting cocktails. We started with a martini which was OK. I would try one of their signature cocktails and then do the Irish coffee.

Cocktails were well crafted! I had an old fashioned and dirty martini. Both were very well made and stiff! They had live music playing downstairs so it gets pretty loud down there. Also alot of couples here. Dim lighting which I like.

Back again, this time to visit the downstairs bar. The bar is small, but we were able to grab seats without a reservation on a Monday night. Fantastic cocktail menu with something for everyone and bartenders who are patient about explaining unfamiliar ingredients. + Ice Maiden (vodka, lillet, pear brandy, champagne) was light and bubbly, the perfect way to start. + Loved the "Destination Tokyo" that came in a pretty pottery-style cup and tasted like popcorn from the pandan. + New Amsterdam and Jackdaw were more spirit forward and just as delicious. Definitely recommend, but make a reservation to be safe.

FRIES WITH TRUFFLE CHEESE The fries weren't as crispy as I would've liked, but the soft bite similar to mashed potatoes was pretty good. The cheese itself really carried the rich flavors of the truffle without overwhelming your tastebuds. Such a decadent cheese. SALT AND PEPPER SQUID The squid meat itself wasn't over cooked which is easy to do and makes it feel like you're chewing on a tire. Not the case here. The squid was fried perfectly, nice and crispy first bite. The garlic aioli complimented the batter they used to fry the squid in, very tasty. PEKING DUCK LETTUCE WRAPS These lettuce wraps were the perfect two bites sized appetizers. Such a flavorful and well cooked duck. The cucumber salad and lettuce helped bring the intensity of flavors down so that you could enjoy every bite. There's a full bar, but service is a little slow and congested. Staff are really nice and friendly. The dart games are so involved where each player can have their selfie taken and name displayed on the board. You can compete as teams or against each other depending on your chosen game. At the end, there is a final game stats to show who won and a group photo to conclude all the fun. A fantastic way to test out your dart skills and have fun with your loved ones!

Maybe it was…read morebecause it was kind of (not really) late and there weren't many other places open (aside from the first place we tried across the street who told us the kitchen was closed even though they were open for another 3 hours) but the place was packed! And it was loud. I guess technically it was a darts place and so there was a lot of excitement near the dartboard area. The bar staff were all buzzing about shaking their shakers and pouring drinks. It was a great vibe - apropos for a Friday night. Ok we got the little bit lychee drink (subbed vodka for gin) which was excellent with what looked like a dark dahlia floating on top. I wanted to try a British beer and got the magic rock saucery session pale ale (saying its name is like a built in sobriety test). The ale was definitely IPA but with a really clean finish. And because I'm a pig, ordered the fries with truffle cheese. Wow that was so so good! Shoestring fries with a heavy drizzle of truffle melted cheese. I can't really complain about the super loud music since it probably suited the main clientele and was really good (club versions of many 80s songs). So it looks like a really fun joint for the young locals with some older folks who maybe stumbled in like we did. Really nice bartenders and front staff. Thanks for not giving us a BS line to keep us out like the other place.

Came here for pre-theater anniversary dinner with my wife. The ambiance was somewhere between that of a trendy club and nice bar. There was a mad scientist vibe with the lights being industrial vibe and some metal decor. The music was thumpy and loud enough to remind you it was there. It made me feel a bit out-of-place as somebody well past my 20s, but also a bit cool or being there. You really come here for the drinks. We got the pipe dream, smokey old fashioned, honeypot picante, and one other I can't remember the name of, but which came in a flower pot. The pipe dream and smokey old fashioned were likely the best. Overall the drinks were more visually appealing than traditionally good and the visually appealing ones tended to have ingredients that weren't as top shelf and/or they were just too sweet. Not bad, but disappointing for what we'd hope. The food was the opposite. I had low expectations and the food wasn't amazing, but was better than average. We got the bao buns, crispy duck pancakes, panko halloumi, katsu curry, and hot honey pork tacos. They arranged for it all to come out in time for us to make our theater show, which was nice. The bao buns and pork tacos were probably the best. Neither blew me away, but both were solid. The katsu curry and halloumi were standard of what you might expect. The crispy duck pancakes was maybe as advertised, but it would have been nice to have some moistness or substance to the dug vs. it basically being crunchy salty bits of something. Overall, this wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. We may be back, but we'll probably try other things first.
