What makes a great wedding? My wife and I made a long list of what we wanted our wedding to be and…read moreone thing that was at the top of our list was a GREAT PARTY. One thing that directly impacted that would be the DJ we chose. We went through tons of DJ's (there are a lot out there) and each one said "we will play good music!" Great, but until you have seen the DJ in action it is actually pretty hard to decide. I went to a wedding where the couple said their cousin is a DJ. That cousin was a person playing music from their phone. Plugged into a soundbar. From Pandora. With commercials. By the way, get Geico if you want to save 15%. In any case, my wife and I relied heavily on reviews to discern the difference. Reviews for All That Events were great and after a talk with Zeke, we decided to go ahead with him. He worked through the process with us, we gave him our do not play list and a few songs that were must plays. Then the rest was up to him. We got distracted with TONS of other things and then it was our wedding day. Zeke showed up early and set up. Fast forward to the reason you are here, the party. When I say that Zeke laid the groundwork for a great night, that's an understatement. Seeing your 85 year young Grandma-in-law gyrating on the dance floor to Swedish House Mafia, Priceless. Zeke did an amazing job of feathering the slower/classical music in the beginning of the night and transitioned to faster paced and fostered such a great party. Glow sticks were a flying, grandma's were a gyrating, and there hardly was anyone sitting. I don't like to endorse anything/anyone who I don't fully believe in. I don't write many reviews. When I choose to write a review, I do so because I hope my review can help out someone else navigating the Atlantic sized pool of vendors. You will not be disappointed with Zeke and All That Events and hopefully this makes your wedding planning a bit easier. Thanks again Zeke (sorry it took so long for me to write a review!)

We recently had booked World Record DJ's for our wedding in Sterling, MA in late July. During the…read moreplanning meetings, we dealt with Matt, but Ryan actually performed at our event. We had, what we thought, was going to be a tricky wedding as far as music needs. We had 3 different locations which required music, all on the same property; our ceremony was at a gazebo, our cocktail hour was on an outdoor patio, and the reception started inside the venue. The ceremony: We had the DJ provide the music for our processional and recessional. They also provided a microphone for our officiant to wear, and a mic with a stand for our readings, all outdoors. The audio quality was excellent, and one of the microphones even picked up me and my bride's voices as we were reciting our vows, etc. It was a high quality audio experience. Cocktail Hour: We had the cocktail hour on a patio. They also had speakers in this area for our guests to enjoy. The music out here was at a perfect volume. We also continued the music outside for the entirety of the reception. Reception: Ryan handled the intros, exceptionally. We had a few names that were difficult to pronounce, but Matt worked with us to get phonetic spellings, and when the time came, Ryan got everything right. He kept the pace of the event moving, and he had all of the versions of the songs that we needed for our newlywed intro, as well as our father/daughter, mother/son dances. Now, I have to give Ryan a lot of credit. No one was dancing. We told Matt previously, and Ryan before the wedding started that they should not take it personally if no one was dancing. This was not a dancing crowd. My wife and I have been together for 7 years, and we have danced a total of 5 times, including our wedding. Our friends and family aren't dancers either. The weather was gorgeous, and we had yard games, so everyone (I mean everyone) was outside, just socializing, playing games, and it was great. And actually, the music ended up being a very important part of the enjoyment outside. Music selection: We're fairly young, but we have a strange taste in music. We're not into modern country and we're mostly into older stuff from the 70's and 80's. We supplied Matt and Ryan with a list of maybe 10 songs, and from that list they put together a playlist for the entire 4 hour event. Their music selections were absolutely perfect. We didn't get a single modern country song, which was very important. The care they put into this was apparent. These two guys (Matt and Ryan) really have it together from a service standpoint. Every step was super-easy, and laid back. Matt in particular has a knack for keeping the meetings both incredibly professional, and laid back and fun. I can't stress enough how happy we are that we picked World Record DJ's to perform our wedding. They were first class all the way. Thank you guys!

We had some special requests (unique song choices, sound effects being played during speeches) and he executed flawlessly. His uplighting transformed the room from "nice" to "WOW!" Definitely consider this add-on. For the money, I can't imagine getting a better DJ. I would caution against getting a cheap DJ. Spend the money on a professional DJ and you (and your guests) will be much happier for it.

From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception the team worked hard to make sure everything flowed so perfectly. They kept the energy high without missing a beat. Our dance floor was filled the entire night. They say people always remember 2 things at a wedding, the food, and the music. I can say with my whole heart that choosing ATOC was the best decision. Thanks to Dave our videographer, we are able to relive our special day over and over for years to come. We got our edited and unedited videos back and he captured every moment perfectly. If you are on the fence about having a videographer at your event..., DO IT!! You will not regret it! I cannot recommend ATOC enough! They truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable!! However, he was already booked when we asked him and he assured us that Ron was equally as amazing and he did not disappoint! We talked to Ron over email and met up with him before the wedding to discuss music options. He had GREAT suggestions and was open to working with us even when my husband and I changed our first dance song multiple times (sorry Ron!). The website to set everything up was very easy and nice to be able to pick exactly what songs we wanted for different parts of the night so Ron could get a feel for what type of music we were looking for. The music and dancefloor started early on and did not stop! I have always loved Danny and he is even doing another cousin's wedding next year BUT Ron was amazing and I am so glad we had him as our DJ to make our night and dancefloor the best party I've ever been too...but I might be a little biased ;-)

The events themselves were basic 2 hour set ups... a few microphones, a couple speakers, and some soft music before the event. The DJ in Miami Lakes provided just that... a mic, a speaker, and music that was hard to hear with the 600+ people in attendance. The mic kept cutting in and out even after the few dozen "mic checks" he did. As the saying goes, "It is what it is" and I chalked it up to it wasn't about the music but the event itself. Darin and Rick from The Perfect Mix were anything BUT ordinary! When they arrived the day of the event, I could not believe their professionalism. They had researched the company and it reflected in their presentation. The wireless mics they had were new (they provided 2 at the podium just in case). The speakers they brought were crystal clear, and there was no issue hearing the presenters speak or the music. They even provided up lighting that matched our logo colors!! It was the music and lighting that created the ambiance to the event here in Framingham!! Both the President and the SVP were very happy and impressed with the DJ's from The Perfect Mix. They even asked them to come back for our annual Christmas party! Based on all the reviews I read online, these guys can rock a corporate event just as great as a wedding!! Thanks Darin and Rick! We'll be working with you again!!

Sheer arrogance. The biggest disappointment was when he played the incorrect song for the Mother/Son dance. It was disappointing and embarrassing. This was a moment I have looked forward to for months, especially where this was my first son getting married. Again, when brought to his attention, he was arrogant and belligerent about it and tried to blame it on the bride and groom. The least he could have done was apologized for HIS mistake. My only positive is that people did dance all night long.

He was VERY rude to the entire Venue staff. We had multiple employees tell us that they have never met a vendor so rude and disrespectful. So much so that the Venue hopes to never have to work with him again. During introductions, he failed to mention the Groom's parents. When it was immediately brought to his attention, instead of just fixing his mistake by mentioning them, he said through the speakers "They are telling me I didn't mention the Groom's Parents but I know I did so I guess I'll do it again". Shortly after this, when it came time for the Mother/Son dance, he started playing the wrong song. When the Groom brought it to his attention, he immediately got defensive and put the blame on my Wife and I in front of over 175 people. This was a link that we sent to him months ago and he downloaded the wrong file. After a couple minutes of putting the blame on us, and having a few people try and talk sense into him, he corrected the issue with a death stare while my mother and I had our dance. I would not recommend this DJ to my worst enemy. The day was beautiful, and this "professional" put a damper on that by ruining the second most important dance of my life behind the first dance with my Wife.
