MENARDS DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THOSE WHO CAN'T WEAR MASKS, VETERANS AND THOSE WHO ARE IMMUNE STAY…read moreAWAY THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!!! tore front end manager was a parrot and rude. They now let you shop without a mask, how they get you is when you try to check out. I've been going to Menards for years and never had an issue until today. After shopping for roofing materials for 45 minutes and then proceeding up to the checkout I was told my business wasn't wanted and I would not be able to buy anything without a mask. Policy made absolutely no sense because I was socially distancing and the cdc has reported it's not easily transmitted on surfaces like they first thought. Cashier refused to check me out after I told them I couldn't wear a mask because of burn pits and my time in the military. I take an inhaler and 30 minutes of a nebulizer at night. Regardless the front end cashier broke the 6 feet rule and came within 2 feet of me telling me I can shop online. She kept repeating her trained little statement about how I needed a mask to check out. Mind you this is after I had already gone through the store, breathed on everything and touched everything. Employees were not wearing gloves or eye protection yet they present themselves as little mask Gestapo storm troopers adhering blindly to their higher echelon propaganda. We should wear masks to apparently protect ourselves and others in case we should need it, ironically which is the same concept as having a concealed carried weapon in the store but Menards hypocrisy is clearly showing. Before anyone says this is a biased report I'll have you look at what their bathroom vents look like when they apparently say your health and safety is a concern. Absolutely disgusting and hypocrisy at its best

Let me start off by saying, I am a 69 year old, fairly independent widow…read more I ended up stranded with a flat tire at the Kwik Trip in Winchester, WI, 90 miles from home. After calling AAA who outsource to a towing company (my 2015 Caravan does not have a spare, just a temporary repair kit) that was too busy to tow me, my Daughter-in-law from Mequon arrived. She removed the tire and we drove around the north side of Appleton, and stopped at 4 different places---no one had the time to fix my tire. Rays Tires is across the street from Fleet Farm so we walked in and the guys took care of us!!! Service beyond expectations!!! Chivalry is not dead. I can't say enough about the personal care they offered. I only wish I lived closer so I could always rely on them for Auto care!!!

21 year customer but not one to place a review because "that's where we've always gone"…read more We've trusted Rays for tire replacements, alignments, and other work. Two examples of "major issue becomes minor" lead to the 5 star rating. 1. We received 2 quotes for a major amount of engine work and then break work from an official dealership location within eyeshot/walking distance after routine checkups. Ray's Tire provided a 2nd opinion helping us understand what was truly occurring, what was required and other options. $4k in savings between dealership and reality. 18 months later the vehicle in question is running fine despite "impending doom" from said dealership. 2. Our van developed a horrible squealing sound, trouble breaking, turning and driving..nearly overnight. A hickory nut had lodged between parts of the break assembly. Rays removed the offending tree nut and didn't exaggerate any cost at all. Many places...without names...in Appleton..would charge steeply for the simply action taken, and quote 1-2k in unneeded charges just for your trouble. Ray's Tire is truthful, accurate, provides value and quality work.
