Cabela's specializes in hunting, fishing, boating, and camping merchandise that has been a subsidiary of Bass Pro Shops. So if you are in the need for something in this area, Cabela's has it. I did a quick internet search of the product I was looking for and Cabela's had the best price. The store is huge, but I've been told the Cabela's in Memphis is 10 times the size with the boats in a pond in the store with restaurants and a hotel on the top story. The service was outstanding. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. For the stock, variety and price, I'd make the drive. I was in so much awe that I didn't take many pictures. I'll add when I visit again.

So when we found that they had one here while we were on vacation in Door County, we were hoping we'd be able to reserve it in some way without making the drive. They allowed us to do so by putting down a refundable deposit. We did so and they got the boat prepped for our purchase and we were able to pick it up a few days later. Everyone we worked with was helpful and friendly. They walked us through the boat and made sure we felt completely comfortable with everything before taking the boat away. The store itself is brimming with outdoor goodness. Everything was neat and in order and help is readily offered. No complaints! Get to it!

A few of the buildings seem vacant and one looked like it was falling down. My little one asked me what happen to it...she told me it was about to crash down. She also believed the boat captains lived in all of the buildings by the water because they look like wood shanty's. I didn't have the heart to tell the truth so I went with it. It is fun to walk up the boardwalk because there are some great views of the river. You can also check out the fishing boats too. Some of the captains will talk to you because they are trying to drum up some business. It would be fun to go out and do some sport fishing but maybe on my next trip, hopefully it won't be another 18'years. There are also some great places to eat here too. My personal favorite is the Mucky Duck Shanty for a Sheboygan Brat. It is the best deal in the area for $3.95 with chips and slaw. A pint of beer is $2.50 and that's a normal price...no need for a fake happy hour here. There are also other places too for coffee, ice cream, burgers or brunch. Just search yelp when you get here because there are a ton of great reviews. There is also plenty of parking in the lot. If it's full then you will see two hour street parking for free. There is also a bathroom at the north end of the pier but it is open seasonally. So if it's summer you are in luck but in winter you may be denied. If your passing through Sheboygan then stop on in. It is only about 3 miles off the main highway and you will have a great time too.

Always good to know unless it's the wrong season!

Plus our yard has sum challenges. Such as wet ground in the spring and summer with normal to above rainfall. Also the Charter and telephone utility boxes within 6 feet and our neighbors property. We scheduled an appointment and was told late June or July depending on weather. They realized we were in a dry patch of weather this early summer and came in early June. Kudos for remembering our situation. Paradise Gardens Nursery showed up with a good handful of very professional crew that new the exact job that needed to be done. The clean up after removal was top notch as we had to do no clean up either. They are a local service and I highly recommend them for a tree removal service.

I was clear with the sales person on what I could afford and he did everything to accommodate (and didn't pressure me to purchase outside my comfort zone, which was nice). The final price for the pool table I purchased was only a couple hundred dollars higher than some of the used prices (after re-felting and necessary repairs would have been made to the used table). And, they were having a deal where we got a ping-pong table topper thrown in for free. On my way out, I perused through the store. Perhaps management can get creative about making it safer for customers. Never understood the difference between TJ Maxx and Marshall's, but that's a discussion for another day. Even though the store is no longer what I would refer to as "new," it was still very bright and clean. Yes, some of the displays were a bit TJ Maxxish in their clutter and organization, but that was the exception, not the rule. We found some great gifts at decent prices, and loved that there was a rare combo to end the transaction: No line and a friendly cashier; when's the last time those two things came together in a single transaction? Glad that I stopped in and will definitely make sure to head over after my next Costco run.

Training must be part of the problem but Mike the manager blames the systems for inability to deliver. Is it a corporate, regional or West Bend store issue. IDK, but alternatives like Fleet Farm and Cabela's each have their warts but Dunhams is close to home for me thus a tempting headache.
