I found that they had been here for over 60 days, so the price was now 25% discounted. Yay for me! As I checked out, I was told that pillows were on consignment from a woman who got them for a new couch but found they didn't do what she had hoped for. So she sold them unused. I believe it, as they were in perfect condition with no smell to them. The pricing here is appropriate, and unlike other consignment shops, the items do not smell old and used. The variety is good, but you have to keep checking in to make sure you don't miss a good item. Things come and go quickly. The rooms are not stuffed full which is nice.

This is a serious topic -- hunger and poverty. I recently fell on hard times and had to rely on…read morethis food pantry for groceries and I am swallowing my pride to write about this experience in hopes it helps someone else out there. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. There are still kind people in the world who will help and not judge you. Family Sharing Food Pantry is a wonderful non-profit organization that helps people, like me, when they need it. I was able to call and ask for the help I needed. When I arrived I felt welcomed by friendly volunteers who chatted with me and my service dog. They were kind and pleasant. I was nervous and very ashamed. Nobody made me feel like a charity case or like I was less human. It was just like going to a grocery store. I walked through with a volunteer and got to make lots of choices about the foods available on the day I arrived. I was given so much food that I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes before I could drive away. I sang songs of praise and gratitude at home because I didn't have to worry about food for an entire month. The Panty sets out to give each client 2 weeks worth of groceries. However, I received so much that it lasted me an entire month. Every meal I made was something that I thoroughly enjoyed. I even received toiletries and dog food for my service dog. I know there are people out there who need help and shy away from asking for it. I know there are people who are ashamed of going to food pantries. I would not brag that I needed help but I would brag that there were kind, considerate, compassionate people at Family Sharing who helped me without making me feel any less human. I am happy to share this review with those who find it. I hope you will share it with someone who needs it. I used to be a teacher. I used to be a soldier. I used to be a social worker. I worked for the City of Milwaukee. I've worked for the City of Chicago. I've volunteered for the Red Cross and I've helped many people all over the world. I've driven food boxes all over the State when I could. I never thought I'd need help myself. I've seen the effects of hunger on children and the elderly. Don't stand by and let someone you know struggle with hunger. Please take them to the kind of people I found at Family Sharing. If they won't go, find a distribution site that gives out boxes and pick up a box to take to them. You could save someone's life and you might not ever know you did so! Family Sharing also has a resale shop on the property. If you want to support their mission. Shop in the resale shop. Volunteer in the Pantry. You never know, one day, the tide may turn! I certainly never thought it would turn for me. I'm so happy that my karma led me to the wonderful people at Family Sharing. Thank you so very much to the people at Family Sharing. Your kindness is so appreciated. I am humbled by your devotion and dedication. I am grateful that you are here and I am so appreciative of what you do. THANK YOU!

The convenient drive-thru is a nice bonus as well. Mike has helped me during both visits and has been friendly, knowledgeable, and informative, making each visit seamless. The cigar lounge in the back is a great place to sit back and enjoy a smoke, and they offer non-alcoholic beverages such as water while you relax. I'll definitely be back.

Not sure what they're charging dealers to set up (that could have something to do with it). I have attended twice this year. Last weekend the weather was perfect. Don't see any reason to go back to this flea market, It's a shame, this used to be one of my favorites.

They had an event this past weekend, Elfin Around. I run a business with a friend and we were a…read morevendor at this event. The event was terrible. All the customers were rude. Now I know that's not their fault, but they had these bingo cards for the customers to take and fill out at each vendor. Most of the customers were ONLY concerned about the bingo card and getting their free prize. We don't think this helps local vendors at all! Especially lack of spreading the news about said event. We sent them an email regarding our concerns and how this bingo thing wasn't exactly a great idea, especially if the idea is to help out vendors, not just your store. And we also stated was wanted a refund. They wrote back and said that whatever time we have with the customer is on us and that we should "try harder" to sell our products. They denied us our refund and were rude near the end of the email. And they also blamed us for not putting the event out there as to why we didn't get more customers. And whoever customers showed up, were rude and threw the bingo cards at us to stamp while talking to whoever they came with. Tell me, how are you supposed to sell an item to people who aren't even acknowledging you're there? Mind you, we've gone to this event a couple times in the past. The first couple of times was fine, since we were getting our foot in the door. But the event before this one, they didn't even make sure to put the correct address on whatever advertising they had. Any time this place tries to do an event, it's very unorganized and A LOT of vendors don't get any sales because of the free door prizes they offer to the people JUST FOR SHOWING UP. I don't think this helps any vendors. It wastes our time and our hard work that we put into getting things ready and set up for such events. This was part of the email that we were sent: "The decision to use the Bingo cards was multifold. Its main purpose is to make sure that our shoppers get to experience ALL of our vendors through the building (not including the store). It also allows people to stop for a moment at your booth. You can do what you want with that moment you have with those customers. The opportunity maybe was not taken to talk about your product or get them involved with your items. That is again unfortunate and reflected in your sales. Even if they were rude to you as you say, it would have been up to you as an ambassador of your created items, to put a smile on your face and turn them around to buy." We've been doing craft shows for a couple of years now and that is not how it should be ran. Other vendors were packing up and leaving the event hours before it ended because it was so slow and they were getting the same treatment. We talked with surrounding vendors(as we always due at events) and they didn't do any better than we did and they were just as frustrated with how bad the turnout was.
