So am im shopping for prices for a repair I called this company because I've worked with them before and I initially like there services. I called 7 days ago didn't get a call back. I called back today and got a call back from a extremely rude guy stating we'll why are you calling us when you haven't did work with us. Im like what. Is that why you didn't call back. He stated I've been out 4 times and you only hired us one. I told him I dont recall that but okay. Last night, my wife noticed a small discoloration spot in the office ceiling. I made a call to Sweetwater Plumbing this morning. We used them for previous jobs in the past. They were prompt and dispatched a plumber the same morning. The plumber, Paul called and asked me if he could out 10 minutes earlier than my appointment. I agreed. He saw the discoloration and pressed on it. It felt like water did dripped to the spot. The spot was dry now. He said he can open the ceiling to find a leak. We agree to open the ceiling to give us peace of mind. Once he opened the ceiling, he saw the drain pipe corroded and not braced. When he pressed on the pipe the water leaked out. He talked to John back at the office and provided us with an estimate minus the inspection cost to replace the leaking section of the drain pipe. We agreed with the price. Paul went to get the parts and started working that afternoon. He performed a great job of replacing and securing the leaking section of the pipe and completed the work and clean up before the end of the day. Best plumbing experience we've ever had. Anthony was outstanding overall. He communicated clearly, answered all our questions, listened patiently and well, recognized our concerns without dismissing them, he talked us through several diagnostic options, their costs and potential for success. His assessments made sense and kept us from paying for unnecessary stepped up procedures. We moved forward with his recommendation to descale a 58 year old pipe to resolve a clogged shower drain that had sat clogged, dry and unused for decades. His approach not only worked as he predicted, but it was the most cost effective and also the least invasive approach compared to other plumbers recommendations. So, to start things off, we were having issues with our water bill being super high; we talked to a couple of plumbing places, and Sweet Water offered the best solution with a budget-friendly fix! Initially, we thought it was just the sprinklers, but Matt came out and looked around and explained there was no way, as the sprinklers pull from the house first, and the house pulls from the main! We were leaking between 2.1-2.5 gallons a minute! Setting up everything only took less than a day, and they had it done in 24 hours within starting! It took a couple of them to work on it, but being friendly and quick was beyond a positive for me and my wife and two kids! Matt, Larry, Anthony, and Andrew understood that it was hard for me to take care of my kids and spouse without running water, and we worked together on fixing our main water supply from the city and getting our water back up as soon as possible. The faucet for my bathroom sink began leaking a stream of water after I washed my hands. I couldn't turn off the faucet. It was a big, unwanted surprise! When my son tried to stop the water stream by turning the shutoff angle stop, located under the sink, the water started leaking at the shutoff angle stop. Instead of one leak from the spout of the faucet, there was a second leak; both leaking at the same time! Well the initial inspection alone was above what was expected. Polite and punctual, they made sure to wear shoe covers and put down mats before entering. Took the time to go over every concern of mine and answered all my questions (no matter how dumb lol). Victor explained what were the possible issues and pointed out every pipe, connection and hose. In one instance, they ran the water for 20 mins (while crouching mind you) to inspect under the sink with their flashlights to catch any and all possible leaks. Quoted 3 options varying in price, one of which was their hydro jetting to make sure they cleared everything out. Even though they might not be the cheapest plumbers in town, their quality of service is undeniably worth it and their prices are still within reason, especially with these inflation prices now a days. I can't recommend this company. Yes, they are really courteous all around, but a LOT more expensive. I have been having my tankless water heater serviced every year for 11 years. It is always in the $200 range. I was given an estimate for 250 which I accepted, and once work began, I was told it needed a new filter. A filter has ALWAYS been included with every other company. Well, the filter costs another 250 just to drop it in. So my $200 flushing just jumped to $500. I will use another company next year. read more
