If you live in chino hills you already know how old our houses are. And with that age, our water pressure regulator, main shut off, and spigot all failed. One yelp inquiry later within minutes, Cori and his team sent out Jason to help us out the next day (as we requested). We were given a window of 11 am - 1 pm and for the first time I've ever been given a window of arrival, Jason showed up promptly at 11 am. He went to work on inspection, giving recommendations, and then replacing the entire trifecta. We ran into some hiccups along the way where some pipe was dented from age and needed to be replaced and that was taken care of swiftly. We also have a napping newborn and he was miraculously able to sleep through the work and Jason was kind enough to work gently during the naps. After the job was done we chatted for a bit and he was on his way. Later that night I did notice a small leak coming from one of the couplings and Jason quickly returned the same night to fix the issue despite it being late. I even said we could wait until tomorrow but he insisted on getting to fixed. A quick fix later, all was well. I have working water pressure throughout the house and no more leaks. We never hired them because after scheduling appointments (2 times) they didn't show up, they give 3 hour window that means customer has to make themselves available for those hours and then they don't show up. Two times I took the half day off from work just to wait for the plumber to come and give us an estimate BUT no one ever came. I had an issue with my kitchen sink drain and noticed that it was not connected to a vent stack. I've had a few other plumbers come by but because of the location of my kitchen sink, their solution would've possibly required cutting my countertop and modifying my walls to install a vent stack. We have a baby on the way and was not looking forward to taking on such a large project. I reached out to Plumbing Method on Friday night for an estimate and alternative solution and they were able to send Jason out the next morning (today). Jason arrived on time and provided a solution I was comfortable with -- I didn't even have to bring up my concerns. He had some other jobs to finish but said he could do it afterwards since he needs to buy some material as well. He came back at 5 and got to work. It took a lot longer than expected because he had to get creative with the installation so that I would be able to put my dishwasher and cabinets back in the same place. He also offered to rearrange my garbage disposal so that the piping would take up less space. I would've been ok if he decided to finish it the next day since it was getting late but he stuck through it which means he was working over 12 hours today. Time will tell but he tested it thoroughly and it is draining great with no leaks. I felt the price was fair for the work he did so I have no complaints. I had an initial quote from Jason and I really liked him. Professional, very knowledgeable and willing to explain. I had scheduled service with him at 0930 a few days later. At 1000 I contacted the person who scheduled the appointment to confirm he would still be making it. They said that Jason had called and spoke to me.... (He had not) and was on his way. Jason called shortly after this and said he was 28 minutes away. An hour and a half after my initial appointment time I still had no plumber, and no call or text updating me on his status. I let the office know I would have to cancel, as by time he would Arrive I would not have time for him to complete the work prior to my next appointments. Imagine a worst case scenario where you visit a relative or friend's residence and your dear loved one uses a toilet and clogs it. (Technically it was explained to me by a relative that the toilet was older.. still does not melt away the cringeworthy incident. I also had to leave....) On top of that, relatives don't speak English and the relative has mobility issues and can't climb upstairs and the downstairs toilet, the only one she can use is now out of commission. When the issue went beyond the scope of a normal clog, he personally went out of his way to get all the necessary equipment to fix her older toilet and I have to say the time and effort Cori put into my auntie's toilet, was superb. There was no bull and he was very straight up with me and explained every step of the way. There were no hidden charges and extra repair and extra cost was definitely a given and broken down. The amount of time and effort given by him to my family was so sincere I couldn't have asked for a better man for the job. Long overdue update! Plumbing Method still get's 5 Stars across the board! At the end of May, my parent's water heater finally gave up the ghost, and the house was without hot water. Having had such a great experience with Plumbing Method previously, it was an easy decision to reach out to again. Sonya is a gem, and got us scheduled for the same day, which was incredible considering it was mid morning on a Friday ahead of the long weekend, and with elderly parents, was much appreciated. She kept me updated around ETA throughout the day, and was a pleasure to communicate with. Jason arrived just before 5pm, but ensured us, he'd have the work wrapped up before the day was done and he did! He was the consummate professional, was happy to explain all the parts of the process to my very inquisitive Dad, and myself. My service tech Jason Arola was incredibly professional and upfront about what charges and costs. He's patient and goes above and beyond on how to file a warranty claim. I needed new pop-up drains installed as well as a new cartridge for my shower handle. What's great about Jason is that he works clean. You would never know a plumber was in my house except for things working properly now. Cost wise might be a bit pricey for some but having everything working in the house as it should without the added time and effort to do any clean-up afterward is well worth the price personally. Chino Hills county site also has a page for Code Enforcement (Plumbing Method did not run an asbestos check prior to cutting a giant hole in my older home). All that was needed was a proper water machine sink hookup adjustment but they ended up ripping up the ceilings and digging up holes outside. Like, no care or attention paid to the fundamentals and the "1st things 1st" to check, nope, straight to the costly repairs! Anyway, don't use 'em, you can do better, but honestly just ask ChatGPT about your problems and try to make friends with your dad's sister's cousin's neighbor's best friend who happens to be a plumber or handyperson. read more

We discovered water falling from the corner of our garage ceiling while the guest shower was being used. We put buckets up and contacted Plumbing Method. -update Again, people, please carefully read the real reviews here. I had a small pinhole leak. Nothing was ever wrong with my water heater. It's still working fine. They used that as an excuse to try and scam my insurance because the leak was near my water heater. They never mentioned that anyone in their company had Covid haha. I don't know why that would affect this to begin with. My insurance didn't pay out the $10k because it was not necessary which the inspector told Cory when he eventually showed up that day to explain why he wanted to replace the water heater and reroute pipes for no reason. Also, over $3k for a pinhole leak that other companies, that I unfortunately talked to after the fact, told me shouldn't have been more than $650. I'm not going to argue with a scammy company. Don't waste your time or money on this company. You're already on Yelp so just keep scrolling and find a legit, non-scammer plumbing company. Oh and I did leave the check on the trash can because that's about the level of respect they deserved. ---- I wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews when I made the call to Plumbing Method but I needed someone quickly. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake. This company is mismanaged at best and full on scammers at worst. I'm thinking it's a mix of both. Our kitchen sink had dropped, the seal had come off and it needed to be remounted. We also had a problem with our faucet not being mounted properly and I was using some heavy duty tape to keep in on the countertop..... Plumbing Method sent Jason to evaluate the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My wife, Jen E, posted a review and Cori is obviously forgetful. I can say 100% of what she said is true. Promises to get money back from insurance were false. I took time off work to make sure they had what they needed and came the first day with no equipment to start. Had to chase Cori down to find out they were not going to start the job. Being told they would show up to work in the morning and not showing up til the afternoon. Again I had to track them down to figure this out. Horrible communication skills. Did not trust them to finish the job properly. Felt like I had to watch them the whole time to make sure work gets done. I lost out on several days of work because of this. And then they reinstalled my sprinklers like they had never seen a sprinkler system before. I had to replace the sprinkler system myself. Calls to figure out if we could recover some costs from insurance never returned. I had talked to my insurance agent and they said theres no way to recover that cost and this company doesn't know what they are talking about.
