The female owner immediately came to the entrance as soon as I walked in, which added to the pressure and awkward vibe. My mom actually comes from a very similar cultural and business background and has worked with many restaurant owners in that community through commercial restaurant sales. Based on her own experiences in the industry, I became uncomfortable with what she described what possibly would be going on and that made me uneasy as well. "It's not too sweet" which we know is kind of that gold standard for the perfect dessert. Service was ok. I'm glad we came after a weekend lunch when they weren't as busy.
