There's protein, either vanilla or chocolate, as well as glutamine, even ashwagonda. Prices are pretty on par with other smoothie bowl places. From the outside, it looks pretty tame and unassuming for a coffee shop, but the moment you step inside, it's like walking into a completely different universe. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. I kid you not, it makes you feel like you're sitting inside a real-life geode! The walls are lined with the cutest shelves and unique little trinkets. Their counters were stacked with all kinds of delicious-looking treats, and I honestly had a hard time deciding what to get. I finally settled on a chai tea and a caramel croffle. What really blew me away was how different this place feels from a standard chain coffee shop. The staff genuinely made me feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few minutes my order was ready. The chai tea tasted so authentic, not like it came out of a mass-produced bottle. And the croffle? Perfect. It had that beautiful subtle essence of a flaky croissant. And the caramel wasn't overly sugary at all so you could actually enjoy the rich flavors. I had the most pleasant afternoon here. As you know if you have read any of my reviews... I love the taste of coffee! So I was excited to try this. I got a caramel coffee option my son got a shake thing, and my older boy got a caffeinated juice drink. The coffee was super smooth and creamy and for me a little sweet. My boys both loved theirs! The staff were awesome, helpful and really patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to try. We have been back several times... my oldest really likes the drinks. I'm ok with it... and my youngest likes the shake options. It is good, a bit more expensive, but tasty!

Playa Bowls saved the day!…read more After a disappointing experience at another business nearby, Playa Bowls across the street completely turned our evening around. The ambiance is great, and there are plenty of things to do around the area, which makes it even better. I'd definitely recommend it! I usually order the Nutella Acai Bowl and substitute the banana for mango. The only downside is that the fruit quality can sometimes be inconsistent. Occasionally the fruit seems mushy, like it may have been sitting out for a while, or it's unripe. I've also noticed during my recent visits that the acai itself was a bit runny. Aside from that, it's still my favorite spot for an acai bowl!

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Whole Foods Market in Duluth, GA…read more I purchased two containers of strawberries from the same display. I ate one that appeared fresh, but the next morning I opened the second container and found several strawberries heavily covered with mold. Visible mold on soft fruits is a food safety concern, not just a cosmetic issue. Mold spreads microscopic spores, and contamination is often present before it becomes visible. That's why food safety guidance generally recommends discarding moldy berries rather than picking out the bad ones. When I returned the moldy container along with the empty container from the berries I had already eaten, the refund was processed, but the manager's primary response was to tell me that empty containers would not be accepted for refunds in the future. The bigger issue wasn't the refund policy. It was the lack of concern that I had already consumed strawberries from what appeared to be the same compromised batch. I expected someone to ask about my well-being and inspect the remaining inventory, not focus first on the return policy. Whole Foods has built its reputation on premium-quality produce. I hope this store strengthens both its fresh fruit quality control and its food safety training for customer service staff.
