I ordered two donuts (cheap, which was nice), but they were tossed in a bag together with no divider, so the frosting stuck together which made it a pain to get them out of the bag to eat. No napkins were given. Fortunately, I remembered to ask for some. One donut was chocolate with sprinkles, the other had buttercream filling with white frosting. Both were decent, nothing amazing. I tried to sit outside, but the chairs were old and dirty. They looked liked they came from an old elementary school. To top it off, someone came up trying to sell me a "$600" motorcycle helmet for $100. I decided to make a quick exit. If I lived nearby, I might grab a dozen to-go, but it's not worth a special trip. Meijer has become less consumer friendly than it was a couple decades ago. They had a policy of…read moregood prices only if you buy 2, 3 or more of an item, which they have eased off of lately. They often charge more for larger quantity items per ounce or pound, expecting that consumers will not look at the price per unit and another trick is to vary the price per unit by using different units of measure, making it more difficult to compute which is the better deal. If they mix liters, quarts, ccs and ounces in a liquid such as soft drinks, it is not customer friendly. I know other do these same techniques as well, but I started shopping Meijer in the early 70s and expected more of them.
