Super friendly and family-owned for 53 years.Delicious bread, buns, and as good of a donut as there is ANYWHERE. Who knew some donuts can be this much better? The classic look inside reminds me of the best neighborhood bakeries in the country. Some things should be left the way they are. The exterior, though, doesn't reflect the quality within. Their donuts are insanely good here. If you don't get yourself a glazed ugly, you're missing out. Their hours leave a little to be desired, but it's a small price to pay for supporting a good local business. Service is always prompt and friendly, and I've never gotten anything from here that I didn't like. read more

I have been getting Birthday Cakes from here for several years and it's never a disappointment. Very yummy banana cake. Always dense, moist, and sugary just like a birthday cake should be. Prices are very affordable, decor on cakes has been wonderful. I don't eat the donuts, but I have been told that if someone brings Butter crust donuts into work it forms a stampede to the pile. Parking is on the side. The only complaint would be the steep incline of the parking lot. read more

Zero stars Very tired of bakeries being closed Monday! Since its the hardest day of the week, how can people close a place that supplies much needed happiness... Guess I won't be coming back on another day. Their Google page listed no hours any day of week. It's Time to join the rest of the country with creating a website and informing your clientele so they don't drive long distances to look at an empty dark store front! I've been picking up things from here lately and it's all very good. I've gotten a few small loaves of "german bread". I'm not sure if that is an actual kind of bread or just where the recipe came from or what but it's great. The cream filled donuts are fantastic. Their s'more cookie is also my favorite. I even picked up a banana flavored cake for an office birthday. Very tasty. read more

The best donuts in Michigan. I have yet to have any that are better! Glazed Uglies are the best! My only complaint is that they run out and don't replenish so when they're out, they're out. But the baked goods are amazing nonetheless. read more
