I remember first coming here in 2019, and now coming again in 2023, the place looks very similar to what I remembered. The toast was even better than I remember actually, with a crispy toast. So delicious. Loved the pandan filling. There was ice cream and whipped cream on the side too, but didn't use too much of the whipped cream. The ice cream dipped with pandan was yum. Ambiance was very cozy, with light music playing in the background, and decent seating for its tight space. The owner is the sweetest as well. I'm sure I'll be back again.
Cute little dessert shop tucked away in the basement! It's a really small and intimate space so it might be a wait on a Friday or Saturday night. They have really great desserts and drinks. My favorite is definitely the OD toast in both the pandan and Thai tea flavor. The toast is crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, with oozy warm filling. The flavor was very strong for both and I really enjoyed pairing it with the creamy vanilla ice cream. The major downside is that there isn't too much of a service and I have to seat myself. The staff is always super busy so I often have to wait a while to flag someone down. It's a sit down place so tip is required and it's CASH ONLY.
This place is somewhat concealed and can be found in the basement. The space is quite cozy and would be perfect for couples or smaller groups. I had a great experience with their bingsu, and decided to switch things up on my recent visit by trying their mix mountain with boba on top, which turned out to be fantastic! Highly recommended.
Keep an eye out for this cozy dessert spot located on the basement level below an izakaya. They have a varied selection of bingsu and dessert toasts, as well as some other treats. What I really liked was that they had bingsu flavors I hadn't seen in NYC before, like lychee, peach, and milo. We split the lychee bingsu, thai tea bingsu, and the choco sweet layers dessert among 5 people. The lychee bingsu was super fresh and flavorful, and the other desserts had a lot of toppings like boba and coffee jelly. The place is small abd can get crowded but if you can grab a table, def recommend coming here especially after a spicy dinner!
Came here on a Wednesday night and it was the amazing. Limited seating but it was worth making the trip. I ordered the strawberry layers ($8) and the pandan od toast ($12) As I was enjoying the pandan toast, I kid you not, I was about to order a second one! It was so crispy, fluffy and not too sweet. Very balanced! Highly highly recommend. I will be back within the next two weeks for sure. The strawberry lawyer drink was classic bingsu in a cup with rainbow jelly (the one you find in bubble tea). Pretty standards, but did not disappoint. There was only one lady running the shop, which I assume was the owner. She was very friendly and made every dessert very beautiful. The shop itself was a bit difficult to find. In the basement, with steep steps, limited seating, and small store front. But don't let that discourage you! You need to make a trip here to try the od toast!!
Coming back from Hawaii I decided to find a shaved ice place here in NY.. this place is hidden in the lower level with a tight and narrow staircase. The lychee bingsu - extremely unsatisfied with the lychee fruit they put in bc it comes from a can instead of utilizing real fruits. All of these fruits seemed to be from canned goods and stored in their mini fridge for quite some time. There is absolutely no flavor in the ice. I'm left with eating plain ice and the drizzle of evaporated milk. Yuck! Sweet Strawberry Layer - looks good but doesn't taste good. It's all strawberry syrup with fruit jelly and shaved ice in between. There's a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top - taste very generic. They could've used a better flavored vanilla ice cream brabs with the amount they are charging for each of these cups! $8.50 and I couldn't get a decent scoop of vanilla ice cream. They should use fresh fruits for each shaved ice. There are no dates on those containers, so you don't even know how long it's been stored there.
Solid dessert place in the area that's under ground. Although the cafe is small, it can seat quite a few 2-3 people parties; I wouldn't recommend large groups going. My friends and I shared the mango shaved ice and the shaved ice was phenomenal - so fluffy and creamy; not icy at all. Loved it and will be back!
One of my friends brought me here because it has great reviews. We had the pandan toast, the brown sugar milk tea, a mango slush, and the lychee bingsu. I love bingsu, but usually never order it because they always seem to come in such large portions. I love that they put the condensed milk on the side, as I tend to prefer the condensed milk on the lighter side. I have to admit that when it first came out I thought it looked a lot like sea scallops on a bed of ice, but it was so good, I can't believe we finished it all. There were so many lychee, and at the bottom they had the clear lychee jelly bubbles that burst.
Came here on a whim after an omakase dinner next door. We needed some dessert to top our sushi dinner and I am glad we came. We order the Thai tea & pandan toast/bread, passionfruit green tea, and classify bubble tea. All were super yummy and satisfied our sweet tooth. It's a little cramped inside but also cozy? Will definitely be back for more dessert runs.
More like 3.5; Cute little place that you have to walk downstairs to find. Jackson heights definitely benefits from an asian dessert place and overall bingsoo was really good, fluffy and creamy. The signature OD Toast was good but not mind-blowing MANGO BINGSOO Refreshingly, light, not too sweet, and again the ice is SO creamy. What i love is that they give you the syrup on the side so you can decide how much you want to use for your taste buds. VOLCANO BINGSOO This was really delicious too because they crushed up oreos/ chocolate chip cookies and dusted it with milo powder and have a really delicious and not saccharine chocolate syrup that goes over it. This one I liked more than the mango one just cause you get more of a mix of textures, esp with the frosted flakes sprinkled over top. I love a crunch and the syrup itself wasn't too sweet which i liked. OD TOAST Their signature item that I was excited to try. It's essentially a column of golden toast filled with either pandan or thai tea filling. The filling itself is injected into the toast and it's a cool concept; the flavors of the filling were pretty good and the thai tea had some coconut flavoring as well. I wish the texture was more melty and less runny though, like a custard, because it runs out of one side of the toast and doesn't necessarily stay in the bread. BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE SLUSH A pretty standard coffee flavored slush but they did a good job not making it too sweet so the coffee flavor stands out and remains on the bolder side. The ice wasn't super well blended with the rest of the drink so you do get bits of just ice randomly and it's not a smooth homogeneous slush, per se.
Came here after dinner with friends. We stumbled upon it as it was underneath the restaurant we were eating dinner at. It is a cute very small dessert place that gets very crowded. They have bubble tea and fantastic desserts. I highly recommend coming here. My husband and I had milk tea. His was chocolate flavored and mine was taro. We both got lychee boba in. It and it was delicious! My friend and her husband shared the sweet layers choco which is essentially ice cream with Oreo chips and marshmallows. They enjoyed it. We will be back!

Sweetory is a cute, cozy hole in the wall dessert place in Jackson Heights. Walking by you might miss it but it's located below Izakaya Fuku and you won't regret making a stop here. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea Toast and the Sweet Layers Strawberry - and both were amazing. Perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth. Highly recommend this place if you're craving for some sweets especially on a hot summer day. read more

Small store down a set of stairs. I didn't even realize it was there, I was just looking for a dessert place to snack at after dinner. The inside is pretty small, there's a few tables and a long one side table. There was only one person working, who I think is the owner, which felt like it was not enough. Everything took a while for her to do since she had to do 50 things at once but she was doing it all with a smile and had a very cheery attitude. I got the strawberry later in a cup and the mango bingsu. The strawberry was in a long cup was very full and made it hard to eat. The flavor was a bit weak and didn't have enough milkiness to it since you couldn't mix anything together. Eating it completely individually layer by layer didn't make it as enjoyable as being able to mix it a bit. The mango bingsu was alright but nothing too special. It came with a little condensed milk to pour all over but I think it could do with a little more mango syrup.l to give it more flavor. I wish I went at a different time instead of after dinner bc I did want to try to toast. I might be back to try it since it seemed like a nice place and the owner seems like such a sweet person. read more

First thing, this place was difficult to find. It's in the basement level of another shop, so I walked past it a few times before seeing it. The store is cute and cozy, and there's a very small spot outside of the store for outdoor seating. The cashier sign says CASH ONLY, so make sure you bring cash! I read another review for this place that said they accept card, so I'm not too sure what the payment deal here is. I ordered a lychee bingsoo, and it came out quickly. The bingsoo came with slices of lychee (the ones in cans with sweet syrup), a little bit of whipped cream, and a syrup to pour over. It was a cold and tasty treat, and I can't complain. I actually had to take a 25 minute work phone call right after I got the bingsoo and when I came back to eat it, it barely melted LOL. The ice is good and resilient to the weather! Overall, cute place that's a little tucked away. I wish I tried more desserts, as their menu was quite extensive. Try the bingsoo if you're near! read more

We ordered the Matcha bingsoo and it was so rich in matcha flavor! Amazing, but make sure not to pour all the matcha syrup because it's really sweet. The Thai tea & pandan toast is also a must. They have happy hour as well before 5pm and it's buy 1, get 1 drinks, I would recommend the green tea with cheese foam. read more

Everything was GREAT- we got the mango bingsoo and the pandan toast. Looks just like all the other pictures people posted, so we dug right in and didn't bother snapping another picture. The bingsoo was perfectly soft and fluffy. Pandan toast was extra crunchy, and the scoop of ice cream that came with it was the perfect pairing. The lady running the shop was by herself and so sweet. It's a small place, maximum seating is maybe 12-15 tightly. CASH only. We only came for the bingsoo and toast, but got a bonus of 2 free drinks since we came during happy hour. read more

Came by on a food crawl on Saturday and this place did not disappoint! Ambiance: such a cute little cafe, located in the basement. A little hard to find, but it's the left basement under the stairs. Smaller than normal but had enough seating for 6-7 parties. Food: 5/5 the lychee was so yummy! At first I thought there wasn't enough syrup but when you mix it in, it's definitely perfect. It isn't as sweet as many would like, but with the condensed milk and lychee syrup it was a great fix after a big meal. Service: 5/5 read more
Wonderful shop in Jackson Heights. Great for tea and desserts and to chill out with friends. The service was friendly and fast. Standouts were the OG toast with pandan and thai tea. The pandan stands out and its a nice creamy filling with a nice crispy toast on the outside. The vanilla ice cream was also high quality and matched well with it. Also the mango bingsu was great. Light fluffy ice that melts in your mouth with wonderful ingredients. Large chunks of mango and a nice condensed milk on the side. All desserts met my satisfaction after a meal in Queens. Topped it off with a Taro grass jelly ice tea. Refreshing and delicious. Great neighborhood spot that i'll be back to. read more
Cute little dessert cafe with nice decor and friendly staff! I got the strawberry bingsoo which had strawberries condensed milk and strawberry popping- it was pretty good and the ice was smooth and easy to eat. The sweet layers Choco had a couple ice chunks and the chocolate bits tasted pretty sweet albeit a little watery. I would definitely come back for more bingsoo and try the drinks! read more

A gem spot in Jackson heights. Surprisingly the desserts here are better than the one you get in Manhattan. We ordered the matcha red bean bingsu and it was delicious. Their toast was crispy and soft. A great spot to come here with friends and to have a good time. It's located underneath another shop so you might miss it. Also only one person working so the wait time is longer but she was very nice and attentive! read more

Just discover this dessert spot in jackson heights and I'm glad I went and tried it because for sure its not gonna be my first visit. It is located in the basement and the interior is pretty cute. Its a nice place to hang out with friends and they close late. I went with my husband and we both enjoyed it. We got thw milo volcano bingsu and it has corn flakes, oreo, marshmallows and of course ovaltine with condensed milk and whip cream on the side. It taste crunchy because of the oreo and cornflakes and its not overwhelming sweet, Its good! We also got the pandan toast. Toast with pandan cream inside. This one is my favorite. Creamy filling that smells good with toast. We'll be back! read more
Very cute establishment. You need to walk down the stairs to the basement to find it. It has a cozy vibe. Free wifi, restroom and the big seller the toast pandan item. It's pretty photogenic but it is huge for 1 person. It's easily shareable with 2 persons. I'll visit again to try other items. read more

I love desserts especially bingsu as it's always refreshing and sweet at the same time. Based on recent reviews, I opted out of my normal fruit options for bingsu as most people were more impressed with the chocolate volcano version. I hate to say it, but the chocolate version was hard to eat. I actually gave up halfway as the flavors were not fully integrated so each bite didn't have that pizazz I always expect from my bingsu. The shaved ice wasn't creamy but felt like eating dry snow, if that makes any sense. Each bite actually was dry since the toppings are chips ahoy, marshmallows, Oreos and milo powder. I'm giving 3 stars as I may return to try the fruit options but I know a few other places, only in the summer though, that serve amazing fresh fruit options. The service on the other hand was impeccable and sweet! read more

OMG YUM! In 2021 I've become obsessed with Bingsoo. All types and all flavors, just so fluffy and sweet. I think it's the perfect summer treat This place is very small but very clean and nice. Be aware that it's hidden on the lower level of the street so you might not see the storefront if you're navigating through GPS. We ordered the matcha Bingsoo and loved it. I was staring at the couple next to us that got the lychee one, was kinda jealous. Can't wait to come back here for bubble tea and more treats! read more
After having dinner with my friend, we decided to have some dessert and couldn't find a place to go to. I was craving some sort of bubble tea and we ended up going to Sweetory. It was a bit difficult to find this place because it is located on the lower level and the store's sign is on the side of the street, not the front. There is a variety of bubble teas and bingsu (shaved ice) to choose from. Just like their name, their desserts and drinks are all sweet. I ordered the Sweet Layers Strawberry to share with my friend. You can think of it as a small bingsu in a cup. It is supposed to contain shaved ice, rainbow jelly, fresh strawberries, strawberry boba, topped with ice cream. Unfortunately, mine did not come with strawberry boba. Maybe they ran out? Or maybe they forget? Which is a bit strange because I pointed to one of the photos and asked what the orange part was. She even said it was "boba." I was really looking forward to it. The dessert was a bit tart from the fresh strawberries, yet sweet from the jelly, syrup, and jelly. If you're a fan of sweet stuff, you'll enjoy this. I also ended up getting the Strawberry Jasmine Green Tea with Cheese Foam. I did find that it was a bit too sweet for me at the regular sweetness level so I would adjust it at 50% the next time I come here. My friend got the Passionfruit Jasmine Green Tea with Cheese Foam. It was less sweeter than the Strawberry Jasmine Green Tea drink that I had so I preferred her drink over mine. I wouldn't mind coming back to see how their other desserts taste. It's a pretty relaxing place to be but keep in mind that there is a limited amount of seats and tables. For those who love sweets, you'll enjoy the desserts here! read more

We came really late on this night and I felt really bad for staying a bit passed closing but I was really glad I stopped by for dessert. Everything was honestly perfect. The bingsoo and the toasts were amazing, sweet, filling, flavorful and so pretty. The entrance was a bit hard to find since it is underground but look out for Izakaya Fuku! There was an amazingly cute outdoor set up by the entrance that would be fun to hang out on in the summer. Oh also, it seems like their square machine is not working or something so it is cash only. Make sure you have cash handy! read more

Solid place for Asian desserts. We shared the toast among four people, and after a full meal, this was enough. This is a very cute place to catch up with some friends and try something new! I haven't tried their drinks, so I can't comment on the quality of the drink items. read more

If you're looking for Korean desserts in Jackson's Heights, this is the place to be! It's a small cafe, with a good selection of desserts! It's a little mom and pop shop, that serves great quality dessert! The lady running the shop was so sweet and kind. She was smiling the whole time! We got two desserts: The matcha bingsu, (subbed the beans for strawberries) and the toast with thai tea and pandas filling! These three desserts were sensational! I'll be coming back here again! my friends and I were in the area and stumbled across this dessert shop and we just had to try it. we were pleasantly surprised and the flavors were immaculate. the lychee bingsoo was sweet and refreshing. for the toast, it came with the pandan and thai tea flavor. both were amazing! the toast maintained its crispness regardless of the warm sauce inside. we loved everything and will be back to try more read more
Made our way over here on a Friday night to pick up some dessert on the way home. Located on the sublevel of the building, this small spot has one lady working behind the counter and a waiting area outside while orders are being made. Decided on the "Sweet Layers Choco" ($8.50), which took a few minutes to make. Dessert is a layering of ice, chocolate crumbs, ice cream, marshmallows, drizzle, and whipped cream. The ice melted a good deal on the walk back home, though the ice cream stayed intact. Love the flavor of the chocolate and ice cream together. Marshmallows tasted stale, and the slush was bland towards the end. Interesting grouping of flavors, though you have to eat it quickly before it turns into a mess. Seems like this place is popular for it's drinks as well, so might try that and the toast next time. read more

Such a cute little dessert spot! We came here 20 minutes before closing and the staff still welcomed us! We ordered OD Toast (Pan Dan flavor custard and Thai Tea Flavored custard), Mango Bingsu, and Lychee Bingsu. We all enjoyed our desserts very much. They weren't overwhelmingly sweet or heavy. The Bingsus were simple and didn't have a lot of different toppings but it was enough for me to satisfy my cravings. I would recommend this to anyone who is around the area and craving desserts! Tip: CASH ONLY Omgomggg!!! I'm so glad I came across this dessert spot. It's kind of "hidden" because you have to walk down the stairs and I almost missed it. I was really craving something sweet so I got the toast with Thai and pandas fillings. They were AMAZING!! The toast was nice and crispy on the outside with warm melted pandan and Thai tea on the inside.I literally just had it and I'm drooling just thinking about it. I wish I tried more things on the menu. I live an hour away and I will most definitely make the trip just to get this again!! MUST TRY!! I highly recommend!! read more
Overall (4.5/5): A dessert spot worthy of revisiting over and over. Pandan-filled toast with ice cream is a surprising pair that I scoffed down without even realizing. Food (4/5): The toast is crunchy and soft, the pandan is silky and just sweet enough, the ice cream ties the whole thing together. Incredible. Atmosphere (4/5): Enough seating for two parties comfortably, and three parties if you squeeze. Hand sanitizer is readily available and wait staff is very attentive. Uniqueness (5/5): Inventive desserts! Value (5/5): Stop in, even if you're not craving anything. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is the perfect dessert place. I ordered the pandan flavor OD toast and Lychee bingsu. Both were amazing but the OD toast was phenomenal. The toast has the perfect texture of soft in the inside oozing with pandan and a bit crispy on the outside, melting inside your mouth. The OD toast comes with a side of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream so you can have a combination of the drier toast with the moist creamier sides. I didn't have as much of the lychee bingsu as I devoured the toast, but the bingsu comes with bigger lychee pieces that blend well with the soft shaved ice. read more
