The last 2 times that I've attempted to run to this location during my break (I work at Bloomingdales) it's always the same issue. I approach the counter and no one greets you! Today I stood there alone on line and there was only 1 young lady serving, she was assisting two young girls for over 10 mins!!!! Another server comes out and she's so focus on fulfilling online orders she doesn't even notice me. Finally someone comes out and she walk passed me and asked the couple behind me if they need help! It was my first time here so i chose off the menu about what type of bowl i wanted. When i told the nice woman that im allergic to almonds (which was part of the premade recipe i chose) she made sure to warn me that it's an open kitchen (ofc i told her it was okay as long as i didnt eat it directly). I appreciate when people tell me even though i let open kitchens pass or else i wouldnt be able to eat anything lol. But she let me add portobellos for free which surprised me. The food is really good; the customer service at the store Is horrible. I purchased a build your own salad with extra toppings, blackened chicken and mushrooms. The server placed tofu in my bowl. She tells me you saw me putting it in and didn't say anything. I'm going to have to take it out. I knew there were nuts in my salad and people have food allergies. So I told her, I'll pay for the salad just not the Tofu, since I didn't order that. She told me," No you're going to have pay for it." I did ask for the manager. Manny came and rudely said "Nah you have to pay for it or we can make you a new salad." I was on my lunch break and didn't have time for an extra bowl. Almost every time I've eaten here, they've forgotten something important in my bowl. I had a shroomami bowl where they forgot to add rice. I went back to ask, luckily I was eating there and hadn't taken it home. And forget about the small piece of bread youre supposed to get with your meal, they never have it. Once there was a clear container of sliced bread behind the register and the employee still gave me some confusing response as to why there was none available. walked into this SG with my daughter today and saw something I have never seen in a restaurant! Two workers(both women) were carrying a large aluminum foil covered pan over to a table behind the counter and off to the side but still fully visible to us. they took the foil off, it was full of freshly grilled chicken which they then reached into with their BARE HANDS no gloves, and proceeded to pick out pieces and eat them. When they saw our shocked faces they giggled and put the foil back on. This is disgusting, unsanitary and I am sure a clear health code violation! I have been a customer in NYC and here for years but I am done. Where was a manager? what else goes on that we can't see? we walked out and I cannot unsee that. read more

Umm my Fiancé and I were eating at one of the booths at this Sweetgreen and we saw a BLACK MOUSE run across the front of the store by the outside door and ran underneath one of the other booths. It seems like it came from the kitchen. We were checking to see where it went and saw a mouse traps underneath the booth and sticky roach traps by the door. There was also other sticky mouse traps by the door. VERY disturbing and disgusting to witness while eating!!! Could not finish my food and left IMMEDIATELY because I could not stand being there any longer... we are WEEKLY sweetgreen customers and this has completely ruined my love for it. This is a TOP priority issue that needs to be resolved ASAP and not allow business to continue to run until they solve this mouse issue because it is very nasty, especially at that kind of mall of THAT stature......not eating here and DO NOT suggest anyone else to continue to eat here until they resolve this!!. read more

Portions have gotten much smaller. Of course it depends on the server but that inconsistency for a pricy salad is not good. When ingredients are missing, they don't even tell you. LOVE sweetgreen. Fresh, simple, tasty, albeit pricey salads and bowls. This location, not so much. Have been here a handful of times, dine-in and take out. All experiences were mediocre at best, but usually subpar and lacking. As others have pointed out, I've stood there, unacknowledged and waiting for help despite there being plenty of workers standing around. So I had started to order on the app instead of dealing with the workers there. However, tonight, we opened the bag to find a kale caesar salad (without CHICKEN or PARMESEAN CRISPS) and a harvest bowl (without CHICKEN or WILD RICE). Uhhh... WHATTTTT??? And you are going to seriously charge me almost $30 for that?! You've got to be kidding me. Store was closed by the time we got home and I realized the errors. Will acknowledge that we came late and close to closing time, but the app was still accepting my order, there was no indication on the app or otherwise that any of the ingredients were missing (they did however alert me that there were no toasted almonds for the harvest bowl) and the store was still open. Why bother taking my order if you're not going to fulfill it correctly? It's not like I paid less for my salad. Annoyed and hangry. That's what I get for trying to eat better. Never again. read more

I heard many good things about this chain so when one of them opened up locally I decided to give it a try. Overall not the best experience. I decided to try one of their suggested bowls instead of customizing my own since it was my first time there. I got the hot honey chicken bowl. Upon first receiving it I noticed the portion was not that big. Especially considering it was almost $16. You can get a much bigger portion at Cava or Chipotle for almost half the price. Then I realized that I didn't even get what I paid for. Out of the 6 items featured in the bowl I only received 4 including no sauce! This was really disappointing considering the price of it. I noticed on the way out a few workers just standing around bored waiting for customers to come in. It's like they couldn't even get my very simple order correct and there was barely anyone in there. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the food I actually did receive was good and tasted fresh. Otherwise not worth the price. I'm going to assume its because this place just opened up and needs to provide proper training to their workers. Noone there really seemed confident in what they were doing. Great food and service - when they are open. Their hours say open 10 am - 10 pm "every day" but I've stopped by there twice at 5:30 pm on a Saturday and Sunday night and they are sweeping up and their doors locked. They don't seem to be worried about losing business. Very annoying!!! read more

I Created my own salad double Parmesan cheese double onion spring mix and kale and blackened chicken. I ordered for delivery and the total was basically 20 bucks. When I finally got my order no double onions what looks to be one serving of Parmesan cheese and no chicken at all when you call to speak to someone it's an automated message and you have to text and they don't even give you your money back for their mistake you get a credit that you have to use in 120 days do you really think I wanna order again when you couldn't simply get the order right the first time.
