It is a severe lack of that personal customer service that does so much to raise a customer's opinion of your business. The food was well received, but you have to grab your own utensils before leaving. One was even having breakfast on the side and all were aware that the door was locked, and again, it is incredibly chilly outside. I placed a mobile order for two salads and both were spot on; generous portions compared to the sweetgreen located in the Prudential Center. During this time, this location only allowed pick up; there is no in-store ordering. There should be a designated employee by the pick-up station asking for customer's pick-up order name rather than allowing customers to grab on their own. I ordered the harvest bowl, with chopped kale and wild rice. I appreciated that the salad dressing was put on the side rather than on the salad. It tasted very good, but I did not think there was enough sweet potato in relation to the apples and chicken, or enough food for the price (hence 4 instead of 5 stars). For a place that can get me to eat some type of greens? You get an A+ sweetgreen. I walked into this place a little skeptically. I mean, a salad? Healthy things? What? Who does that? So I grabbed a harvest bowl, a warm bowl that has kale, wild rice, goat cheese, chicken and other yummy things. When they were making it, all the ingredients looked fresh and the man behind the counter knew what he was doing. He asked if I wanted to make any changes and I said no, because if I was going to experience sweetgreen I was going to go all out. The warm bowl was topped off with a balsamic vinaigrette and i took it to the table. Just smelling it, it was better than your average bowl of kale. I took a bite, and oh my goodness. What is this witchcraft? I ate as much as I could before getting to full. This was delicious. Above all, it got me, a very indulgent eater, to eat healthy food. Only 705 calories according to their menu, and boy could I get used to it. Can't wait to try some other things here, but if all else fails, I'll get the harvest bowl for sure. If you are a salad person, or if you are tired of greasy food, this is definitely a place you should try! I love their cheesy croutons! I could eat a bowl of them. Pro: Food is great Con: Customer Service I love sweet greens but this specific sweetgreen does not have great customer service. I agreed with previous reviews of servers being careless. Not only that but at least the morning shift does not have a good attitude. I have written a complaint to sweetgreens because of numerous encounter with wrong order and services. Sweetgreen was prompt in responding and expressed they will change things. Personally, it has gotten better for me since then. But I have colleagues who also experienced the same situations and has swore not to come back to this specific location. Hopefully it is a work in progress. Do I like their food? Absolutely! I just can't go there any longer for lunch because even if you order in advance I have waited for over 40 minutes for my salads to appear. By that time my lunch is over and I have meetings to attend. I ordered the Spicy Sabzi, their vegan salad, and for a little under $10 it was amazing. The salad is full of each of the ingredients and expertly mixed so each bite is just as good as the first. I'm a big fan of sweetgreen and was very happy to see this location open up a few blocks from my office. The salads here are delicious! All fresh, mostly local, ingredients. My year round favorite is OMG Omega. The fall harvest bowl is tasty too. All food is made right in front of you and staff will happily customize your salad however you'd like. I recommend downloading the sweetgreen app or level up and using that to pay. You'll earn rewards based on how much you spend across all sweetgreen locations. I know other sweetgreen locations are experimenting with being cash free, so I'm ready with my app. read more

However, last night, I was around the South End area looking for a quick dinner and somehow ended up at SweetGreen (although I was really tempted to go to Whole Foods and get a platter of fried clam strips & fries...) I ordered the Harvest Bowl (one of the new warm bowls). It included kale, wild rice, chicken, butternut squash, apples, goat cheese, toasted almonds, etc and ended up costing exactly $10 including tax. IT WAS SO GOOD - there was a nice balance of the different ingredients and flavors. I was honestly really surprised by how much food was in the bowl. Whenever I normally eat salad, I still feel hungry afterwards (which is why I never eat salad), but this time, I could hardly finish the bowl. Not only was I satiated, but I didn't feel grossly full afterward. I came on a Friday night around 8pm. There were two guys working, no line, and no diners. The employees were really friendly and accommodating (I asked for extra wild rice - no extra charge). I'd definitely come here again next time I want a filling, healthy meal! The harvest bowl is my go to here. The goat cheese and chicken complement the kale really well. Especially during a cold Boston winter, the warmth of the food is nice. Rarely do you have to wait at this location given its proximity to a number of other restaurants which I really like, but at the same time, since they do not get a lot of customers, if they do have a sudden rush, you're stuck waiting for awhile because they do not have the staff to handle them. read more
