I just want to share my experience with Sweet Touch cafe in Vancouver, Washington. Several days ago I placed an order for 2 8 inch cakes - one Napoleon and one Monastirskaya izba. Today, when I came to pick them up, they were both in their cake boxes and ready to go. Typically they show me the cake before I leave, but this time they did not an I was okay with it Becuase I've never had issues in the past. When I opened the box at home, the cakes were not even close to 8 inches. When I called them back and asked about why the cakes are small, they said they just cut a piece from the display case cake. I reminded them that I placed an order for a specific custom cake a few days ago and they didn't say anything...They we're not polite at ALL!!! No one else was on duty to help or fix the issue. By the way, both cakes taste terrible and are not fresh at all. Now, for me and my friends, this will be the last time we order a cake from Sweet Touch. You need to learn how to better treat your customers and make sure they are satisfied, especially if it's a long time customer. read more

What a fantabulous bakery! This is what a real European bakery looks like. I tried the Baklava (pistachio) that looks like a birds nest and it was divine. The lemon cake is to die-for and it has the perfect tart and sweet balance. I'm still craving it and will definitely keep going back to this bakery. In addition to this wonderful family run bakery, there is a deli next door, same family owners that has meats, cheese and other European products that we (hubby) and me are going to try! Service is great and the bakery is first rate. I highly recommend this wonderful place that looks unassuming from the outside, but the inside is divine. Near the Vancouver Mall, but not inside of it. read more

Its a hit or miss to be completely honest. I've had stale macaroons that I paid quite a bit for and I was extremely disappointed. The only good experience I had here was when a younger gal served me and made me a pretty yummy fluffy crepe. That's the only time out of many many times I've visited the place. The majority of the time the customer service is rude, service is slow and pastries are stale. I wouldn't recommend this place unless it's your last resort ‍ read more

I have now ore to express myself about this beautiful cafeteria. Love their variety of bakery. Olga , the owner always there to help her costumers. I just love them very much. The best bakery in Vancouver area! read more

staff here are so sweet and helpful but in my opinion what blows this place out of the water is their absolutely HEAVENLY PERFECT AMAZING MACARONS !!!!!! like holy sweet mother mary, i went back four times in one week because they are so insanely addicting. well developed feet, full soft and delicate interior, smooth and crisp shells, never too dry and the flavors are PHENOMENAL. take my word or don't but i've eaten a lot of macarons in my day and these have been consistently my favorite. read more

Sweet Touch - Delicious, large selection of cakes, cookies and freshly brewed coffee, in a welcoming and modern ambiance. Highly recommend it! - Creperies Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Decent desserts and cookies .. high priced though. Good savory crepe but honestly, came in before 10AM to find 9 people inline to order crepes but this place only has 1 crepe griddle ... seriously? it takes 3-4 minutes per crepe!! not going to wait for 30+ minutes just to get one of your crepe. They are NOT that good. Please take some of that overpriced dessert money and buy yourself another crepe griddle .. read more

Such a cute little cafe, beautifully done interior with dark wood and greenery. Everything is so clean and will presented. Quaint atmosphere .The coffee took a while surprisingly since there was no one in front of us but it was quality. The desserts too are all a work of art, almost too beautiful to eat !!! Haha Well done ! read more

Sweet Touch is where it's at. Vancouver/Portland residents, listen up. I recently moved here, and decided to search around for the best coffee spot in town and I've definitely found it. I can't say enough good things about the customer service. The baristas are friendly and welcoming, and seem to know their stuff when it comes to coffee. They serve amazing coffee & tea, along with Crêpes and have a variety of many European desserts (cake, macaroons, etc). It's a great atmosphere inside for almost anything, whether that's means hanging out with a friend, meeting someone for business, or simply wanting to read a book/do homework. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend you check this place out! read more

Also commonly known as Svitoch, it is a popular commodity indeed, among Vancouver's Russian community. With modern style decor, great home-type atmosphere, and all the European desserts you can ever imagine, it has become my go-to place for keeping myself hopped up on sugar and caffeine whilst completing my homework. Also great for meeting up with friends or relaxing and reading. Try their honey lavender latte, their fresh baked cakes, or Russian piroshki, you just can't go wrong. Also shares an entrance to their store, so you can take ingredients home if you're a DIY individual. Their cafe area has limited seating, and is often filled up by 5pm, so consider yourself warned if you were hoping to find good seating. Also, they are a little pricey, but money spent on sweets that are total perfection doesn't count, right?... read more

Lately the service has been AWFUL. I'm severely disappointed. I've gone in two days in a row and the same woman has been working. She literally will not acknowledge you standing there. I've been a regular at this place for several months and it's never been this bad no matter how busy it gets. I walked out today without making a purchase after the woman helped someone who came in after me. On average, I'd say my fiancé and I probably spend $50-$100 a month on macarons alone. As amazing as the dessert is, it's not worth putting up with the terrible service. You've lost my business. read more

The service was incredible.. such a cute feel and loved the unique verity of deserts.. I got an almond milk latte and the strawberries and cream crepe.. and loved the taste of both! Price was good and overall would come again. Would recommend coming here.. read more

Yummy pastries! Worth checking them out for some Eastern European food! Nice atmosphere

This place is really cute, nice inside. Although when I entered they didn't say hi or offered to help me. A lady came in after and got helped and checked out an legged before anyone came over asked if I needed help. I was a bit irritated since it was my first time ever being in here. Maybe next time it'll be better. Got 10 macaroons read more

A friend brought me here because they love their tiramisu. I guess their macaroons are supposed to be good here too. I'm not a big fan of macaroons and I think tiramisu is ....okay. Their raspberry macaroon was pretty good and tiramisu, delicious! I also tried their crème brulee cake and is was delightful! Neither was too sweet or heavy on taste, which I really enjoyed. I don't have a big sweet tooth but I could easily devour a whole piece of either cake. It's quite a drive for me, but I would definitely come back here. The owner/worker seemed kind and the shop looked clean and inviting. read more

So a friend took us here, and everything looks sooo good, couldn't wait to order, but as they say looks can be deceiving. We ordered a lot of different pastries and all were pretty dry and some super sweet, could not eat because either too dry or too sweet. I'm giving a two because it's a nice hangout area and the crepes were good because they make them on the spot. Could be that the pastry sit around too long and become dry. But if you love crapes i recommend that alone. read more

What a cute little gem over here by Vancouver Mall. I've been in the area many, many times and never knew this was here. I was expecting coffee and a decent place to sit and work but they had so much more. They had cases full of delicious home baked goods. It did get a bit busy on and off and I noticed ppl waiting around a bit but they were very nice and friendly. Definitely worth a stop! read more

3.5 star rating! Here's why: 1. Location is odd. 2. Inside is beautiful- aesthetically beautiful! 3. Macarons - tried a couple different ones. The raspberry and lemon were the best. Perfectly made macaroon and filling. The coconut macaroon was over cooked and was a hard cookie at best and not much of a coconut flavor. The pastaicio macaroon was just bad, filling and macaroon. Though they all looked beautiful. 4. The Tulip dessert - ah, ok. Thankfully it had fruit and a lady fingered soaked in something, because the whipped mouse had ZERO FLAVOR. the dessert is beautiful, but lacking in overall flavor. 5. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THE SALTED CARMEL BROWNIE. First, it is not a brownie- zero flavor, no salt and zero flavor caramel. Again, beautiful dessert, but lacking any flavor at all. Glad we stopped, but no need to be repeat customers. CHEERS!! read more

A lovely choice of quality tea to compliment all of the lovely European desserts. I am a big fan of the tiramisu! They have a wide choice of sweets and I always feel a twinge if nostalgia from my time overseas here! Atmosphere is very calm and they have flattest lighting if you like to take pictures of your food like I do! Service is always professional and polite though not always the most friendly. Also I The to go boxes they have for their desserts are too cute for words! read more

The yummiest delicacies. I always get more than I need but am always satisfied. One of the best bakeries Vancouver has to offer.

If you want to find some of the best crepes you've ever had, you need to stop in here. So sweet and savory! Literally mouth watering! I love crepes and I've had crepes from many of places, but nothing compares to sweet touch! My favorite is their strawberry Nutella! Their shop is very cute and cozy and the staff is very friendly. UNFRIENDLY STAFF AND OWNER. I felt nervous to order. Owner was extremely rude. Seemed like she was pissed her shop was busy. My friends and I were doing a Bible study there one night and lost track of time. 3 minutes before closing the owner walked by us and yelled "WE CLOSE IN 2 MINUTES" and started aggressively putting the chairs away next to us at our table and turning down the lights. There were about 5 other people in there too still eating. We quickly packed up and left. She followed behind us and slammed the door shut and locked it. No "goodbye" or "thank you for coming in". Sucks because a few years ago this place had many young workers who were friendly. Now I feel SO uncomfortable to go back. read more

By far the best bakery hands down in Vancouver! I live for the little meringue cookies oh and the mushroom ones too! My goodness, I have never seen anything like this heavenly place I'm visiting from Australia and found Sweet Touch here on Yelp! Went with the family and we were so overwhelmed with all of the options it was crazy. I feel you could get ANYTHING here and be happy. I feel like a fool for not knowing about this place sooner! It's like bakery heaven when you walk in. Case upon case of delectable treats, both savory & sweet. The space is tastefully decorated and inviting. We settled on a couple of mochas and savory pastries for light lunch. I didn't take pictures, but the two desserts we took home were both amazing. I'm glad I live on the other side of town because I could see myself stopping in here way too often. Of course, distance won't stop me from coming back because there is just too much good stuff to try. read more
