The lemon cake with blackberry puree and dusty blue buttercream.

Jill is amazing! She's the ultimate artist and the care that she puts into her creations is obvious. We were a little unconventional and went for a dusty blue cake to match our wedding colors. We showed Jill a couple inspiration photos and she absolutely nailed it. We loved the rough edge on top, the hue of the blue buttercream, and the way she arranged the flowers provided by our florist - absolutely beautiful! My fiance and I tried a number of delicious flavors at our tasting but moved forward with her lemon cake with blackberry puree. It was a very light and moist cake and the blackberries were in season so Jill said she'd make the puree from blackberries picked up the road. She also made us an additional gluten-free tier to accommodate some of our guests with gluten allergies. We were so happy with the end result!

Jill is the best! She stuck with us over several years to make the most amazing wedding cake. We went with strawberry balsamic, but every flavor we tried was delicious. Many people commented on how it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. One even asked if we by chance had a tub of the frosting to take home :). Jill also decorated it beautifully. She is a total professional, super responsive and flexible. Look no further, you have found your cake!

I could not recommend Jill more highly. As a home baker myself, I was looking for a wedding cake that went above and beyond in both flavor and design. I felt that most of the cake bakers in the Napa/Sonoma area, while I am sure provide wonderful products, seem to offer more standard flavors, which was just not what I was particularly looking for. Jill has clearly carefully selected her flavor profiles and they work together absolutely beautifully. Our guests are still raving about the cake and many have even attempted at creating their own versions because they were so inspired by Jill's baking. If you come across Jill and her bakery, look no further! She will blow you away with her kindness, ease to work with, and most of all her cake flavors and design!

I am anything but gluten free and Jill's creations are still some of the most delectable sweets I've ever eaten. The vast majority of gluten free baked goods I've tried are heavy, dense and just not very tasty. Many give the impression that the baker has been gluten free for so long that they have forgotten the standards against which their products are being judged. Not so with Sweet. I've had cakes, cupcakes and cookies from Sweet Gluten Free and all of them have a light, tiny crumb, a wonderful balance of salty/sweet, are fantastically moist and beautiful to look at to boot. If you're looking for a gluten free cake for a wedding or other celebration, you simply cannot do any better than this. Her goodies will receive rave reviews from ALL your guests. They really are that fabulous.

The top was coffee + another flavor, and the second and bottom layer was chocolate and strawberry. Amazing!

Jill made us a delicious and beautiful gluten free cake for 50 people. You can't even tell its gluten free. I met with her for a tasting with some flavor I requested and some she suggested. It worked out beautiful and I have nothing to say but "perfect service"

The plain kouign amann had more sugared coating than the strawberry one, so for that reason I enjoyed it more. Definitely ask to get them warmed up! As for the ham and cheese croissant, we all agreed it was probably one of the best ham and cheese croissants we've had. They are super generous with their filling of ham and cheese, and they use a yummy mustardy sauce. It also comes with a little fruit! OK so why would I be torn about this place?! Well, unfortunately, every single drink we ordered was not good. My friend threw her coffee away after two sips. My other friend ordered the Matcha and it was powdery and bitter. I ordered the milk tea and it was completely watered down. I would not recommend getting a drink here. None of us finished our drink and this is coming from people who hate wasting food. But I 100% recommend their baked goods or food items and would be excited to try more of their offering dream dream dream

I honestly wish I hadn't even called Beloved Cakes…read more Our tasting meeting got off to a terrible start because Laura, the owner didn't bother to mention she was in Sonoma, not Santa Rosa. This could have been a simple misunderstanding, but since I told her we are getting married in Santa Rosa, I assumed she was located in Santa Rosa as she didn't say otherwise and her directions sounded very similar to downtown Santa Rosa, so I assumed incorrectly. We ended up being 45 minutes for the tasting, and she had another client lined up so there was only time to taste the cake with a quickness, and no time to discuss the design or anything. Feeling flustered I hastily decided to sign the contract and gave a $100 deposit. Take it from me: don't sign the contract right off the bat. You DO have time, even if you're only a few months away from the Big Event. I'd also like to add that the meeting was at a Black Bear Diner in Sonoma, not in her "professional" kitchen. For some reason, that seemed odd. She says her kitchen is too small, which I understand, but I like to know where my caterers are working, see their kitchens and know that they have an actual business address. So a couple days later I emailed her and got no response for two weeks until I sent off another email asking for a response to the 1st one. Her reply was short and generically impersonal. I don't think she really knew who I was. Even though I'd asked for contact from her, I just didn't hear back from her. I emailed several times over two months, and nothing -- no emails, no calls, nothing. So I start getting a little panicky and finally decided it would be best to simply hire another cake maker. My last email to Beloved Cakes, telling her I'd hired someone else got a response in less than 24 hours, with the excuse that she'd been terribly ill, in the hospital, and only "just now" is well enough to email. I thought the timing was a little too convenient, and emailed her back telling her again that I'd already hired someone else and that she probably should have had her assistant check emails and reply to their clients. I asked for a refund of my deposit, given the circumstances. After hearing nothing AGAIN, I emailed again, and again asked for a refund of my deposit -- it's not like she'd done anything to cement our business relationship, after all, and then went missing for two months. So, she just refused, saying her "lawyer" feels her contract would hold up in court, blah blah blah. And I'm wondering what the F*** does her assistant do? What I remembered of him was a kind of oily, baldish guy standing there trying to act efficient. Turns out, I guess, he's just ineffectual... because you'd think this James Lipton look-alike would have at least the gumption to call their effing clients, but Nooooooo..... You know, a bride needs to know she can rely on her vendors to keep in contact. At the very least, if something goes wrong, this woman's assistant should have contacted me. Of course I'm sure she has many clients who are perfectly happy with the service and who had only pleasant experience with Belove Cakes. Unfortunately, I didn't. Oh, and about the cake: they were very tasty, and I initially was very enthusiastic about using Laura's service, but you know in the end. a cake is really just a cake, it's the customer service that counts. And Laura/Beloved Cakes scores a zero.

We ordered 2 Ube croissants, maple bacon cronut, adobo pork sandwich, ham, cheese, & egg packet, and an adobo empanada. Everything was delicious. The Ube croissant was flaky and creamy. The maple bacon cronut had a nice crispy texture with a tasty mix of saltiness and sweetness. The adobo pork sandwich was a unique take on the popular Filipino dish. Every bite was scrumptious. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Le Paris Artisan. The staff were nice and helpful. The vibe was family friendly and welcoming. The price point was in the higher end but there were different unique options on some pastries and sandwiches.
