The Old Navy Outlet store has been really hit or miss for me in the past. I stopped by recently…read morebecause I hadn't been in a while and just wanted to browse. Two things of note immediately: 1) is there ANY organization to this store?, because it sure doesn't seem like it, and... 2) it had a real post-Black Friday feel to it with clothing and accessories discarded in piles everywhere. I don't blame the staff for that necessarily, as I watched loads of customers literally abandoned piles of stuff wherever they wanted when they realized, I guess, they didn't actually want to buy them. Also, another reviewer mentioned the lack of staff at the Fitting Rooms; this actually felt very normal (at least it is in other parts of the world from what I've experienced) , so I appreciated just being able to help myself to a room whenever I wanted (...granted, they were also messy with customer's deserted stuff). In the end, on this particular occasion, I left with two items: a very cute, white sweater with golden sparkly thread AND a fantastic little black dress. Pricetag? Under $50. And the person at the cash register was SO friendly and engaging; she gave me an enormous brown paper bag for free when she saw I had been toting around all my Kitchen Store Outlet stuff in my arms. I don't know that I'm rushing back here anytime soon, but if I'm in the area and I've got the time to explore, I'd come back to see what gems might find me! But I wouldn't come back intentionally looking for a specific item.

Each time my wife and I go here, it begins to look more and more like a Khol's store as they pile…read moreeverything into their racks and displays and no one bothers to walk around and fix it to make the appearance be more presentable. They have a large selection of items, but I couldn't find a button up shirt for my step-son. You would think button-ups would be a common items to find and not a single one. I found 32 options for sweaters and 40 options for sweatshirts, but not a single button up shirt. The staff is non-existent around the fitting room, so customers are always having to go find someone to unlock a door. The value of some of the items is reasonable, when it's on sale, but the headache of having to sort through unorganized sizes and color is just not worth it in my mind.

I visited the Levi's store today with my family, and overall, it was a great experience--until I…read moreheard barking coming from the front of the store. At first, I thought, "Is that a German Shepherd?" one of my favorite dog breeds. I shrugged it off and kept shopping, but then I saw a large white dog roaming the store with its owner--definitely not a service animal. The dog seemed to be having a "bark-off" with another large dog sitting by its owner. While I love dogs, I wasn't expecting to encounter such a noisy situation while shopping. I believe stores should maintain a peaceful environment for all customers, and I don't think dogs (unless they're service animals) should be allowed inside. This experience did detract from my visit, and I hope store management reconsiders its pet policy in the future.

My family and I were walking around Freeport looking for Jeans for my step-daughter. We decided to…read moretry the Levi's Outlet Store and the first pair of jeans I picked up were 30% off the retail price. Awesome, well not so much as original price was 89.99 for the pair of children's jeans. Yeah, no way am I paying nearly $90 for a pair of jeans which have holes in them. As I continued to look around it would seem they are rebranding as a high-end clothing store or they advertise 30-40% after they raise the prices. I looked at my wife and we exited the store immediately as the prices were not reasonable at all. Staff was non-existent as they just stare at you while you walk around. They don't say hi and they don't offer to help. Pretty horrible experience if you ask me.

The real problem for me was despite the fact there were quite a few people working there on a not very busy weekday no one offered me one minute of salesmanship or assistance. No one said hello when I walked in. No one asked me if I needed help. A bunch of wanna be hipsters roamed lethargically about the store doing who knows what. Not much. I tried on a top. I liked it so went to to the register to purchase it. Nary a greeting was uttered by the lackluster guy at the register. And after paying more than I should have in retrospect for the top, this lamebrain took it from the tousled heap he had made of it on the counter and deposited said "heap" into the bag. Oh...he asked me first if I wanted a bag. I had a tiny purse with me and nothing else. Yes, I want a bag even though in your eyes you want to make me out as a wasteful person hence your question because in this day and age no one should want a bag...ever. I am not going to walk out of there with a shirt slung over my bare arm. "Just give me a freaking bag", I wanted to yell. My husband thought I should return the overpriced top after such crappy service but that meant I would have had to spend more time in this awful store. After the payment transaction and before leaving the counter, I took my too expensive top out of the bag and proceeded to fold it properly as should have been done to begin with. Wanna be hipster dude said: "I would have done that for you!" Well, dude, why didn't you? Don't bother with this store. Ugh.
