They left us alone to browse, as we requested, but then showed up when we needed their advice. We've found the store clean, well-stocked and the sales genuine. Maybe not the largest BB outlet, but not sure what else we could expect, and sorry others have found unpleasant issues here.

Most shops have already moved on to the spring stuff by now, but Van Heusen had a good stack of sweaters and pullovers. In decent sizes, colors and wow, the prices were excellent. I picked up a decent maroon pullover and a pair of sleeping pants that both will keep me quite warm. Well marked down, too! [Review 10034 overall, 1618 of 2018.]

One of the outlet stores in Freeport, they sell outdoor clothing for camping, hiking, skiing, or just for casual wear. They have 2 levels, prices are pretty good at this outlet. They have backpacks, and a good selection of Timbuk2 bags on sale. Clothes are of good quality, too. Too bad don't see much of this brand in California. I had my daughter and her friend with me, and there was stuff in the store to keep them busy while I browsed around. Downstairs they have a lounge area with sofas and futons with a flat screen TV, playing some nature programming. They liked going to the second level, however, where there was a foosball table to keep them busy. Found another pair of kids, and played against them.

Not only is a flagship store iconic, but there is basically an entire L.L. Bean village. The home store, the hunting store, the café, the outlet... It truly keeps Freeport running. I was excited to visit after the years long renovation. The store still feels very much the same with some newer updates, like new features for kids, additions to the trout pond. They were also doing a vintage L.L. Bean pop-up in the front of the store where you could buy vintage L.L. Bean goods. You will not find friendlier sales associates anywhere. I also love that so many people who work here are of older age. It feels so wholesome. LL Bean used offer free returns for life, but they've updated that to one year. I can get behind that, they gotta make money somehow. When you're in Maine, it's worth a trip. Not to mention it's open 24 hours a day so you can literally go in at any time. From what I know, it's been that way forever. I heard stories about my grandfather bringing my mom when she was a little girl to feed the trout in the middle of the night. LL Bean, thank you for keeping the same charm while adding a few new cool features. Please never change, we love you.

It's in the middle of a major renovation so, there was a large tent where the women's and men's clothing was located and you couldn't get to the giant boot for a photo - but they had a temporary option set up with their boot car. These boots will have to go with the plethora of dresses I like when rain and snow come to Denver. So, there I was walking around the outlet town of Freeport when my eyes fell on a candy store! Woot! I dragged my boyfriend in that direction when all of the sudden my eyes fell on a window display full of rain boots! Double Woot! After browsing the candy store and going into the wrong store due to a mistaken idea about which display window belonged to whom, I ended up in J Crew. I can't recall ever being in one of these chains before, perhaps because most of my clothes came from the 50s? Anyway I hit pay dirt. My rain boots are pink. And are you ready for this? They have little bicycles all over them!!! It was like somebody made them just for me. Best of all I only paid like $30 for them because it was an outlet store. I strolled out of there happier than when I left the candy store. And that's really saying something for a girl like me. Um, I also think J Crew sells clothes, but I can't confirm that. ; )

As I continued to look around it would seem they are rebranding as a high-end clothing store or they advertise 30-40% after they raise the prices.
