I was browsing as my sister was bringing things for consignment and wish I knew about this place prior to some of the purchases I made for her kids. Great prices, brands and variety -I was so pleasantly surprised because it's not a "huge" store. The place is very organized and tidy, makes it easy to to browse or simply run in and find the exact size you might be looking for. With kids changing so quickly in sizes and interests, this is a perfect and practical place to shop. I highly recommend checking them out. It's a weird thing to notice, I know, but these things were seriously unhygienic; I couldn't help but take note. Upon entering the store itself, I saw what seemed to be a good selection of baby...stuff. As someone who doesn't have kids, and is never around them, I had no idea what a lot of it was, or what would be an appropriate birthday gift. No problem, I'd just ask a salesperson for assistance- or so I thought. The three employees I saw were all having an intense conversation at the sales counter. I walked up, waited. Cleared my throat. Made eye contact. Said "excuse me" to the salesclerk who was looking directly at me. Finally, feeling invisible, I left. This store is probably great, if you walk in knowing what you want, and don't need any help. For those of us not in the mommy club, however, it's just not a welcoming place.

Also, another reviewer mentioned the lack of staff at the Fitting Rooms; this actually felt very normal (at least it is in other parts of the world from what I've experienced) , so I appreciated just being able to help myself to a room whenever I wanted (...granted, they were also messy with customer's deserted stuff). In the end, on this particular occasion, I left with two items: a very cute, white sweater with golden sparkly thread AND a fantastic little black dress. Pricetag? Under $50. And the person at the cash register was SO friendly and engaging; she gave me an enormous brown paper bag for free when she saw I had been toting around all my Kitchen Store Outlet stuff in my arms. I shrugged it off and kept shopping, but then I saw a large white dog roaming the store with its owner--definitely not a service animal. The dog seemed to be having a "bark-off" with another large dog sitting by its owner. While I love dogs, I wasn't expecting to encounter such a noisy situation while shopping. I believe stores should maintain a peaceful environment for all customers, and I don't think dogs (unless they're service animals) should be allowed inside. This experience did detract from my visit, and I hope store management reconsiders its pet policy in the future.

Oh...he asked me first if I wanted a bag. I had a tiny purse with me and nothing else. Yes, I want a bag even though in your eyes you want to make me out as a wasteful person hence your question because in this day and age no one should want a bag...ever. I am not going to walk out of there with a shirt slung over my bare arm. "Just give me a freaking bag", I wanted to yell. My husband thought I should return the overpriced top after such crappy service but that meant I would have had to spend more time in this awful store. After the payment transaction and before leaving the counter, I took my too expensive top out of the bag and proceeded to fold it properly as should have been done to begin with. Wanna be hipster dude said: "I would have done that for you!" Well, dude, why didn't you? Don't bother with this store. Ugh.
