With any other profession, the behavior of not following up with one's client for a week, not calling when your staff says you will call, etcetera would be unacceptable. Additionally, if a lawyer scheduled an appointment with you at 2pm, you would expect to see him or her at 2pm. This practice operates by scheduling 3 patients all at the same time. So you show up a bit early for a 2pm appointment? Guess what! So have two other people. At least you aren't alone in the waiting room. What? You didn't schedule an extra 45 minutes to wait for your doctor to see you? That's okay because my friend will see you when he is ready and not risk having to wait on a patient who might be running late. Here's my disclaimer: Doctors run late. There are emergencies and patients who come in with more complicated problems than they let on when scheduling their appointments. I understand and I'd rather them take their time with someone who needs some extra attention. My problem is when you plan your schedule to ensure that 2/3 of your patients will wait for an unspecified length of time. Basically, being a doctor is a service profession. Yes, they are more respected than an electrician or a waitperson, but that doesn't exempt them from treating their patients with respect.

Not to mention "the fear", and the ensuing MRI revelation. After a week of not moving, I was faced with the ultrasound procedure, unfortunately one could not be scheduled in a timely manner in San Diego. So, I contacted Dr. Goldman, was seen promptly, and had my procedure done. Aside from the obvious unpleasantries, his staff and manner were not one of them. He met with me personally, in his own office, and showed me breakdowns of the MRI, why it hadn't moved in a week, and my options regarding surgery. He was on hand for the surgery, and was prompt regarding follow ups. I would wrap this up by saying "I would gladly go back", but I seriously can't think of any positive reason to return to a Urologist, aside to say thank you!

I understand he doesn't think anything is wrong, however his delivery and bedside manor was horrible. As an ER RN, I know what patient care and bedside manner is supposed to be. Would not recommend.

We got there and the doctor talked to me for a half hour about my son's condition, didn't address my son, and didn't examine him. He gave us an over-the-counter prescription and told us to come back in 6 weeks. That was fine. I expected my son would be examined next time. We made the appointment for 6 weeks out and I asked if they make reminder calls. The receptionist said, "Yes." Six weeks later, I got a call that we had missed our appointment and would be charged a late fee. Even if they didn't make the reminder call, I know it's my responsibility, but I asked if they would please waive the fee since it was the first time and I had expected a reminder call. The girl said no. They would not waive the fee and said they had called me. I did not receive the call or a message, but she insisted that they had called and it was my responsibility to make the appointment regardless of whether they called or not. It turns out they had a different number on file for me. I do not understand how that happened since they had called me for the first appointment and called me to notify me of the no show fee. Later, I received a bill. I called the office to pay the bill. The receptionist said that I needed to call the billing office to pay it, but wouldn't give me the number. I was out so I didn't have the actual bill with me. The receptionist insisted that I needed to refer to my bill to get the number. So, I waited until I got home, called the billing office, and payed the bill. A month later, I received a bill for the same visit and late charge. I called the billing office to sort it out and they have no record of my payment even though it is on my bank statement. I payed the full balance a month before. It turns out, when someone calls the billing office to pay a bill, they fax the information to the doctor's office to process the transaction? I'm not surprised they messed that one up. I have yet to hear if they have sorted this payment issue out. Unfortunately, now we have to find another doctor for my son. Dr. Dahlstrom's reception is unorganized and unwilling to help patients. If you want a smooth doctor's visit in your busy life where you have to juggle many different things, find another doctor.

Dr. Ramseur was the on-call OBGYN at CHOMP who handled my delivery, and I'm glad he was. He was kind and professional, and made me feel comfortable during a very vulnerable time. He gave clear and concise instructions/advice during the delivery, and he also had a subtle sense of humor that I appreciated. There were a couple times during delivery that I became slightly panicked (childbirth is hard!) but Dr. Ramseur eased my worries calmly and skillfully, and helped me re-focus. I'm grateful for his care and expertise that allowed me to have a positive experience.

I immediately fell asleep in the exam room and knowing that I needed a nap, I was covered with a blanket and left to rest while Dr. Tierney checked in with me several times to see if had had woken up. Best 20 minute nap ever! Now that shows true compassion. She returns calls, reads and responds to e-mails and asks what YOU want to do. This Clinic is one of the most prestigious centers of the West Coast of the United States. We are so grateful to Dr. Shah and Dr. Kelh, because we are a team of cardiologists first professional category. Besides being excellent professional honesty in unimaginable. Here in Las Vegas I saw two cardiologists , one said he had to put three stents and open heart surgery . The other, who had to place him four stents. Instead Dr. Kelh said that diagnosis was precipitated and made the examinations and referred him to Dr. Shah . This underwent angioplasty and heart surgery requires no less stents. I highly recommend this clinic . Furthermore Hospital of Monterey Peninsula was built with donations from the rich and famous have their second homes , with state of the art equipment and the best doctors in the country . This hospital is in a forest area , which is more like a resort. If there is an extreme emergency , the patient move the helicopter to San Francisco , which is 10 min . flight . I recommend it .

I thought I was going to die from the prednisone withdrawal effects. Felt like the worst flu ever. Every muscle, every inch of my body hurt. When I tried to get in touch, no call back. When I physically went in to try to get an appointment, his horrible assistant tried to diagnose me and wouldn't give me an appointment. WTF!! WORST. DR. EVER.
