I was raving a fruit tea, while I was walking around the Pruneyard shopping center this afternoon…read more I happy to find a Teaspoon location here. I walked in and was warmly greeted by two employees behind the counter. I already knew what I wanted. They didn't have a kiosk to order from. You have to place your order at the register. I ordered the guava sunset. I asked if they could make it a little less sweeter than the 25%. I was assured that they could. I needed to use the restroom and saw that you needed a code to unlock the door. I asked the young lady for the code but she, instead, came and unlocked the door for me. That was really nice of her. The restroom was very clean inside. My drink was waiting for me when I came out. I decided to take it to go. They do have tables for seating inside if you choose to enjoy your tea there. My guava sunset turned out just right.

I remember when this used to be a Coldstone Creamery and looks almost the same inside. You order from a person, not a tablet. The guy who served me was pleasant and my drink was made quickly. I like how they have a varied menu, not sure if they customize with less/more sweet/ice. The pineapple drink I got was really good and not super sweet. It did have a ton of jelly stuff at the bottom that was actually a little big for the straw, and I had a bit of a time drinking a bit of it! But it was good once I figured out what I was doing. They did have some seating outside and also inside. I don't think this is a location you would just stop by since parking at the Pruneyard can be hit and miss, but a great place to stop when you are here and ready for a cold beverage.

I'm not a huge boba/milk tea fan so I guess take this as a review from someone with pretty…read moresuperficial knowledge. I tried two drinks, a Vietnamese iced coffee made less sweet and a 3/4 sweet peach... peach something. I forget the name, but the menu is small it's the peach one. Both were fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side but not "this is melted ice cream" sweet like I've had at some places. I'd still probably get the peach one 50% next time. The Vietnamese iced coffee was very intensely flavored, had a great texture, and for whatever reason wasn't as hyper-caffeinated as some I'd had. I've had some Vietnamese coffees that made me feel like I was going to bounce off the walls, this was more mellow. But it still has the strong coffee flavor I'm used to. The peach drink was super refreshing, full of peach flavor, but again the level of sugar wasn't cloying at all. And the little chunks of peach added a nice texture to the experience. Again, not an expert on milk tea/boba, but this was probably some of the best I've had, definitely the best I can remember. Inside the shop is a bit spartan but there's seating for a few groups. You order via a kiosk and then someone brings the drinks out to the counter, so it's a bit impersonal. They take credit cards and the parking lot is a little tight.

We ordered: - Brûlée Green Milk Tea: 4/5 - Be sure to mix it well, as the brûlée layer sticks thickly to the sides of the cup. It had a nice balance of tea flavor and rich brûlée sweetness. - White Peach Oolong Milk Tea w/ Crystal Boba 4/5 - My drink was initially served without the crystal boba, but the staff quickly provided it on the side in a separate cup. The peach and oolong flavors paired well and tasted refreshing. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other drinks!

Cere Tea is easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite, matcha spots in the Bay Area. If you're…read morelooking for high-quality matcha and delicious einspanners, this place is absolutely worth the drive. // Banana pudding matcha einspanner My go-to. The banana pudding tastes fresh and natural without being overpowering or overly sweet. The cookie crumble adds the perfect bit of texture and ties everything together. It's one of those drinks I keep craving. // Sunny Side Up Matcha Einspanner I genuinely thought they had cracked a real egg on top at first (oopsies). It's actually mango syrup, which is super creative. The mango is definitely on the sweeter side, so I like letting the ice melt just a little before drinking- it balances everything out really nicely. // Hojicha If you're a hojicha fan, you can't go wrong with any of their hojicha drinks. They have a deep, roasted flavor that's incredibly satisfying. My personal favorite is the Osmanthus Hojicha Einspanner because the floral osmanthus pairs beautifully with the nutty hojicha. Beyond the drinks, I also appreciate that the quality is consistently excellent. It's one of the few places where you can really taste the quality of the matcha. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

The line was long due to the weekend, but went by fairly quickly given you order on a touch screen. I had some questions and was able to grab someone making drinks to quickly answer them. There was a a strawberry matcha with strawberry foam on the counter for pick up that looked insane but there was no way to sub out the dairy in the foam (crying in allergies) so I got the oat milk strawberry matcha. It was a little watery and the strawberries were a tad syrupy but overall had great flavor. Easy to order and tables always open up to wait for your drink. Probably not a great place to plan to hang out with your drink through given it's a tad small inside and crowded! Excited to come back and try more drinks!
