I explained why the evening meant so much to me. What happened next changed everything. As we were leaving, she brought my mom back inside. Ernesto and the staff came out with tiramisu and a candle and wished her a happy birthday. I wasn't expecting it, and I actually started to cry. Restaurants make mistakes.
