Sweet N' Short Tapioca Tea is one of my favorite bubble tea places. It's ran by the most sweetest and welcoming owners. It made the place more welcoming and also a more enjoyable experience. They offer great customer service where they bring your drinks to you which is pretty unique compared to other bubble tea places. The place is well maintained in terms of cleanliness and the spacious layout with tables and chairs. I ordered The Krazy Drink which I highly recommend. This is the only place that serves a mixture of pudding, jelly, and tapioca in the same drink but it was sooo BOMB. Honestly for a drink that's only $5.00 which is extremely cheap it was worth the money. read more

Happened to be in the area and I couldn't resist stopping by to get my boba fix. Ordered my staples- tarp smoothie with boba and avocado smoothie with boba. I was not disappointed!! So darn yummy!! I believe they use fresh ingredients which can be so hard to find in WA. And I think they use honey boba... mmmmmmmm!!!! Only cons are that the avocado smoothie only comes in one size AND you have to pay a little extra for it. And they charge you like $0.50 to pay with your card. Regardless, I will absolutely return here then next time I'm in the area. read more

They have some fresh ingredients so that's great but their stamp card they only offer if you buy the largest every time. I bring my kids in more often so always get the smaller size which is only .65 less. They aren't really losing money at that price and then to not even honor their loyalty program stinks. It's really clean and quiet in here. Every time I come the little lady always treats me like family. Another thing I like about this place is that the drinks are made with really fruit syrup/juice/flavoring. Other places typically use dry powder so I like that this place doesn't. When they first opened I remember seeing a poster that said that the brand was part of a non-profit organization and that they give a small percentage to it. Overall this is a really great. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon so there was no one there but an owner and her child. She greeted me right away and got behind the counter. The menu was a little overwhelming and the layout of the counter I completely over looked at first trying to make a decision. I decided on a basic small strawberry shake. I watched her fill a blender pitcher with strawberries, yogurt, and ice. Then as she blended she poured in milk? A white liquid from another pitcher. She grabbed a cup hidden somewhere that had boba balls sitting at the bottom and poured the finished drink in. I watched at first then started looking around. Noticing the ice cream/sorbet. The different jellies were showcased next to the register and the ice cream far off to the left of the register. The owner lady was very nice and chatted with me. She insisted I try the drink before I left. I popped in a straw and was instantly amazed how good it was! I'm used to powdery or watered down or weirdly sweet or just strange flavors in general! This was such a wonderful pleasant and tasty surprise! The boba was awesome!! I've never tasted such fresh and tasty boba before. This is what boba obsession is about! I was given a stamp/punch card to use in my future purchases. The atmosphere was really pleasant and open feeling. I feel it's more family friendly than a teenage hang out. I don't think it should stop you from coming by if you're out from HS (cascade or mariner) but the cloudy sunny sky painted ceilings do evoke a child daycare feel. They cater tabletop games just like most boba shops and have free wifi too. So they are interested in people lingering. I went back the next day and was turned down to use my punch card. No where on the punch card does it say what size drink you need to order to have a punch/stamp but she rebuffed every customer who ordered only a "short" size to a stamp. I won't go out of my way to visit now unfortunately. read more

Update - Short and sweet was my to-go for Bobba tea, the ice blend is truly refreshing. They have good vietnamese banh my but like everything else the price is getting more expensive. The thing that really turned me off is that I paid the now $4.60 from $3.50 to get the stamp towards a free drink. I forgot my point card once and asked to combine them and was strongly told no and "I don't care of other stores do that" worst customer service ever, really made me feel disappointed after coming so many times to not have the simple courtesy. I won't be coming back to finish getting stamps on both cards. Bottom line, good drinks, more expensive and don't look for a focus on the customer. read more

The owner is so friendly and personable and I always feel as if she really cares that I'm there and enjoying their product. The tapioca is freshly cooked and delicious and they use real fruit in the drinks, which is a huge plus that I hardly ever find at bubble tea places. I have also tried the Vietnamese sandwiches and although I don't have a plethora of experience to compare it to, it was spicy and tasty and very filling! I have a hard time trying new things sometimes when I have a 'usual' established but I would try anything here! By this point, I have accumulated many a punch on my card and I have no problem with the fact that it is only valid when you purchase the 'sweet' size. It is a small business with a quality product in a slightly out of the way location - give 'em a break! Once you find out that this is the case, it should be no big deal. This place is simple and super cute. We were greeted by the owner I would assume and she is the sweetest lady. I had the chocolate peanut butter and requested no bubbles, eww, it's a texture thing for me but she put them in anyways, not a big deal, I just used a smaller straw instead of having her remake the entire drink. My husband got the super crazy drink. It really has everything under the sun in it but he said that it was really good. This is my go to place for Bubble tea. My favorite flavor is Coconut but I like Taro, Vietnamese Coffee, Green tea and the Thai tea. The owners are sweet and fast. I've moved a bit further away but whenever I am nearby I will always make a trip to stop by and grab some. I've tried bubble tea around the area and the ones made here are the BEST I've had by far! They use fresh fruits and are very generous with their tapioca. The owners are friendly and they were up front with me about their stamp card where only the large drinks qualify for the stamps and when filled, can get a free large drink as well. I have a very mixed opinion of this Bubble Tea establishment. The restaurant was bright, very open, and very new but the drinks were not as good as I would like. I was happy to find out that the Boba (tapioca) was the best I have had in a long time BUT the drink itself needed work. I purchased 2 drinks and I got one free. The drinks I got were Raspberry and Cream with boba, strawberry banana orange with boba, and mocha with rainbow jellies. the 2 fruit flavors were tasty but were too runny and had a lot of unwanted seeds. The mocha drink was rancid. I can not decide if it was the drink or the jellies. Also, the jellies were very hard and unpleasant. I will definitely go back for the tapioca but I hope that the drinks will get better in time. Also, I love how they had free wifi and a decent setting arrangement as del as music playing. The place seemed a little too kid-like which worries me due to the fact that the local bubble tea scene is filled with people between the approx. ages of 15-26. Price-wise I paid $8.19 for two large drinks that each had extras (boba & Jellies). I was pleased b the price though the large was much smaller than a large at other local bubble tea restaurants.
