After being a loyal Pochi fan for many years, I have found my new favorite boba place. I am usually always drinking milk teas when I get boba and this lady at Sweet N Short made my drink PERFECT - not too sweet and I can actually taste the tea!!! Ahhh! I got Jasmine milk tea with taro pudding (not my fave topping but wanted to try something other than tapioca - still yummy!). Reminds me of California bubble tea. So delicious as compared to others where they overload your drink with milk and sugar and can hardly taste what it is. I love that they also have different size cups. So thankful that Yelp told me about this place because it's right next to my boyfriend's house! As far as interior, it's a really cute, Asian inspired shop and I would actually do homework here on a slow day because of the big tables. When we walked in the man in charge was on his phone and ignored us for a solid 10 minutes. Once he stood behind the counter we waited a couple more minutes of him on the phone to have him ask us if "we were ready to order," I said yes and he continued to ignore my mom and I for 15 more minutes until he finally hung up. He was unclear in the way he spoke and asked us questions. It was awkward and frustrating trying to order. I ordered an Avocado Milk Tea and my mom ordered a Papaya Milk Tea. He explained to me, very badly, that the avocado drink was not made of actual avocado milk but of avocado powder. Which is fine by me but this little fact will come into play later. The ordering process was ridiculously long. This long ordering process is followed by an equally ridiculous amount of waiting. The man makes another call on his phone and leaves. This nice older lady makes our drinks but she ends up sealing my moms drink wrong and spilling it everywhere. Mistakes happen but I was already a bit upset due to the poor service so far. She refills and reseals my moms drinks. We take a sip of the drinks and they both were way to sweet. My "avocado powder" drink is sooooo powdery. It felt like I was drinking liquified chalk. Neither of the drinks tasted anything like what we expected. My avocado tasted nothing like avocado and my moms papaya tasted nothing like papaya. The drinks were like drinking sweet (powdery) milk water. I will for sure not be coming back here. read more

The jasmine green bubble tea has more green tea than jasmine but the boba was fresh. They also have ice cream and I wanted to try their Vietnamese sandwiches but I was full. Next time. I also sampled their durian and taro flavored frozen yogurt and they are so yummy I bought a container of each at $8, which isn't bad considering the owner makes it herself and it's freaking amazing!!! We went here today specifically to try the tapioca tea drinks and also to get the super krazy drink! That really lived up to its name. We are glad we tried it but we were unable to finish it You can only taste the almond pudding and it is weird to have chunks of a Jell-O type substance with an essence of almond. I had the smoothie that was mocha and it was fantastic but we've discovered that we prefer drinks without tapioca. I enjoyed the experience and I finished my drink. We also had a watermelon juice cool drink. We were advised that it was mixed with lemonade and would be sour. It wasn't sour at all! I think that would have made it better. As it was it was an odd thick watermelon juice with chunks. Not a favorite. The woman working was quite nice but the reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a bit unwelcoming that have hand-written signs in several locations requesting people not jump around on their tables. I absolutely LOVE this place. This is thee best Bubble Tea/Vietnamese Sandwich shop in town! The owners are so sweet and have wonderful customer service. The woman always welcomes me with a warm smile. She knows my drink by heart and always makes it perfect. The store front has a nice ambiance. They have comfortable seating and a TV. Very quaint little shop that's easy to miss if you blink while driving along Everett Mall Way. Very satisifed with our Bubble Teas that we grabbed before a road trip. I love that they use real fruit and not powders. There is an absolutely overwhelming number of flavor combinations here! I dig the atmosphere and the fact that you can kick back and relax while drinking if you'd wish. My biggest regret was not having an appetite when we went in. The food actually looked really good, but I was really intrigued by the chocolate beef jerky that was being sold. We'll have to grab a package next time! read more

I'm sad to say that my last visit here was not as pleasant as it has been. This is going to be a long review. Every time I've gone, there was the lady who usually worked but this time, it was a man and a much younger girl, probably his daughter. I had put in my order for my 4 yr old niece and I. After we got our bubble tea, my niece grabbed her drink and drops it by accident. The cup cracked on the side and some spilled out on the floor and the cup was probably 2/3 full. I asked the girl for some napkins and only handed me two small, thin pieces and walked off. Seeing that she only gave me two pieces, I prioritize cleaning up my niece's shoes and mines. The girl was on the other side of the room and looked at me confused (very bad service) and walks up to me just looking at the cracked cup. I asked for a new cup so I can pour the remaining drink in it with a new lid. Instead, she hands me a styrofoam cup with a lid. She tried pouring my drink from the cracked side (seriously) and went back to the kitchen to get the man. He comes out and tries to pour my drink from the cracked side as well and goes on saying "omg" in a very annoying tone. He takes a knife and cuts open the top. This is the part that made me really mad. Instead of pouring the remaining drink out on the side that isn't cracked, he pours it out on the side that is cracked and while he's pouring it in the new cup, some of the drink spilled out through the cracks. So my 2/3 drink I had left was now to a 1/3 because of poorly handled service. The man handed the drink back to me and said nothing and my niece and I walked out. I felt bad that we made the mess but I didn't feel bad since he also poured more of my drink out, losing my money that I paid for. There are other bubble tea places to go to. This isn't the only one. I'll take my money elsewhere or learn to make it myself. read more

I have been in search for a good tapioca spot for years. This is it...no need for any more searching, and I have tried a lot of pearl drinks in my life. From California, to Washington state. This place has all natural ingredients, made from scratch where their produce comes to them from a local store delivered right at their door. Their green tea smoothie was authentic, their watermelon cream smoothie was outstanding! They don't use powder like most places. Their tapioca or pearls were simply fresh and the best in the business. The best places are the small shops or plazas that people don't know about. Search no more, a definite try. Service is great too with a good atmosphere. Great for kids, teens, and a spot for families as well. They opened just this past summer, so it's just picking up business. This place is absolutely adorable! From the family that runs it, to the color scheme of the walls, to the names of the drinks. They provide a wide variety of drinks and flavors and even some yummy Vietnamese food. I ordered the strawberry coconut smoothie with taro pudding (initially ordered tapioca, then changed it after a few minutes b/c I'm ridiculously indecisive) which the lady was very nice about and it was fresh, sweet, and had a generous amount of the taro pudding which I loved! My friend had the super crazy drink which I thought mostly just looked cool. The "tea" in it tasted like sugar water but I liked all the toppings in it! We also tried the BBQ banh mi which was yummy! I came and tried this restaurant when it first opened a few years ago, and came back today. Cute little family owned place. The daughter who works there was so sweet to me. I normally get taro bubble tea but I tried their chocolate banana - VERY good! Far better than Pochis. My only complaint would be that I got a pretty good sized piece of ice in my drink, but still so great tasting. I would definitely order again. With mango boba it totaled to about 5 bucks. read more

This is the best place to get bubble tea (and a lot of unusual flavor and add-in choices) in Snohomish County. The owners are also really sweet and kind. Whenever I come in with my 2 year old, they are always happy to see us and very nice to my toddler. When I got locked out of my car outside the store (locking purse/keys/phone and just-purchased bubble teas INSIDE the car), they let me use their phone and let me wait with them until help arrived.
