However, this review is for the service at the bar which I genuinely hope management takes into account for future events. There was a complete lack of organization. My friends and I filled a space at the bar as previous customers left. One of the young female servers took our drink order and said she would make sure the bartender saw. Drinks came out on the bar with receipts but while I was checking, one of the workers asked if they were for upstairs. The bartender replied, "I have no idea". After 5-10 minutes of waiting and checking, I noticed that everyone behind us had already received their drink. I notified another server about our issue and he was ready to fix it for us. However, our previous server noticed we were mentioning something and told her coworker the order was already in. She proceeds to tell us our drinks will be right out. She "checks" at least two more times to see if our drinks are ready. By "check", I mean that she only looked over from afar--she didn't actually go up to the bartender to make sure our drinks were next. At this point me and my friends were frustrated from seeing two rounds of other people receive drinks. We canceled our order with a different server because ours had zero initiative. I enjoy coming here--please do better for your employees and customers.

Two eggs cooked your way over crunchy corn tortillas, topped with ridiculously flavorful crumbles of chorizo, nestled over black beans, with cilantro, red onion, and salsa on the side. It's savory, crunchy, spicy, filling--and exactly what my post-night-shift soul needs at an hour when normal people are eating oatmeal. The chicken mole is another WIN. Tender chicken covered in a rich, deeply flavorful chocolate mole sauce that had me sitting there thinking, "Okay Oaxaca... I see you." Absolutely delicious. The only miss for me so far was the breakfast burrito. It wasn't bad, just pretty average compared with everything else I've tried. When your huevos rancheros are out here performing at Bruno Mars levels, "pretty good" just doesn't hit the same. I'll update this review once I actually visit in person. Until then, Oaxaca will remain one of my favorite 7-AM-dinner spots--and night-shift me is VERY grateful it exists.
