TLDR: food is good, but not worth the price in my opinion. I was pretty excited to try this place! I know there is almost always a wait, so come prepped and ready to be waiting for awhile. The restaraunt in and of itself is cute, and overall the food is very fresh. That being said, I personally don't love to spend $6 on a lemonade that isn't even refillable but hey, maybe that's just me! Overall the food is good, we probably won't be back just because she's a pricey! But hey, if you're someone who enjoys a $6 limeade- I've got the place for you!

Hoss & Biscuit Benedict

This place was BUSY, we came around 1pm, was quoted a 20 minute wait, waiting probably 15 minutes and was texted that our table was ready. The food wasn't really my cup of tea, but overall tasted good. I ordered the Biscuit Benedict, the biscuit meal overall was yummy, but I kinda expected the hash to be more crispy it was more mashy. Didn't like that. My friend ordered the Hoss, that wasn't too bad as well. Breakfast wise it probably would not be my first choice to go eat. While my friend and I were catching up clearly still eating, we felt a little rushed out, the waitress came with the check. Felt kind of pressured to pay and get out. So we paid and left.

It may seem weird to have limeade with biscuits but it was delicious! Their drinks are 5/5 good. The hot coco made my day! The hash browns were not my favorite but would recommend everything else.

I really wanted this place to knock my socks off-but my socks were only slightly moved. I've had it on my list for awhile after seeing some cool videos on social media and finally made it in this weekend. The ambience is much more low-key than I expected. Think super casual strip mall restaurant. The first couple of tables past the entrance looked to be used for overflow storage. There is a brightly painted wall that added some cheer to the space. The service was outstanding. I was greeted warmly and my server was attentive and kind-I wish I'd gotten his name so I could recognize him here. I ordered plain biscuits and gravy and got just what I ordered. The food was fine-although it was overly creamy for my taste. I'm sure that's just a personal preference, not anything to fault the restaurant for. I'd return, but would probably try something else.

When the word "Biscuits" is in the name of a restaurant, it's usually a safe bet to assume their biscuits are probably really good. This is absolutely true for Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade; their biscuits were outstanding! Our server was super sweet, really funny and had an awesome attitude! There were also staff members who periodically checked in to take unused dishes away which was nice. I ordered the Biscuit Benedict and I'm so happy that I did. The biscuits were thick, fluffy and buttery. Definitely worthy of having a spot in the name of the restaurant. The hollandaise sauce didn't particularly wow me, but it was tasty nonetheless! I'm a picky eater, so I found out that their hash comes pre-mixed with the spinach and red quinoa, so it isn't possible to have plain hash without the additions. At first I was bummed, because I've never been a fan of quinoa and spinach is the last thing I'd think to add to potatoes. I was expecting not to like the hash, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed it! The quinoa added a slightly crunchy texture, and the spinach added a subtle extra taste that worked really well in the hash. I was surprised at how much I ended up liking it! I also ordered a s'mores hot chocolate without whipped cream, and it was ok, but I'd probably choose a different flavor because this one had a slightly off-putting fake taste to it that I wasn't a huge fan of. All in all, the positives here outweighed the slight negatives I experienced, and I would be more than happy to come back for another delicious brunch!

This was our first meal of the day as we landed really early from DC. I was able to get us a table as I had noticed massive amount of people just waiting to dine in. I dont recall what we had ordered specifically (but I did take pictures) but everything we ate was good. It is a little on the heavy side since I dont eat big meals. I have the say, the service was a little slow but I dont blame them since it was PACKED full of people. The restaurant itself seems huge inside yet they have outdoor seating as well. We ordered: hash with a biscuit and gravy dish, salad, a side order of their biscuit, and lemonade. Heres the real talk: I rarely eat or order biscuits since it's too dry IMO. But the biscuits, here, was soo good to the point I order two more to take back with me to the hotel room because I enjoyed it that much. Also, they make homemade jam which was also a plus. Great for brunch! A++++

I mean... the peppermint hot chocolate is its own stand alone experience. The coffee is decent and they have the funniest mugs, love that so much!! They brought one of my friends who isn't even a dad a "World's Best Mom" mug and it was just silly and tickled us so. The limeades!!!! Just get one. I know, I know, it's crazy I haven't tried their biscuits but my friends bought some to take home and said they microwave so perfectly, so I need to get on that, seeing what all the fuss is about The food is consistently good and I love all the extra steps the owners take to keep it local and sustainable. The reason this place doesn't get 5 is because the service isn't consistently good. Sometimes we receive great service and other times, it's as if it's annoying to our server that we are there. But... if you know the wait isn't going to be long and the food is going to be good... it's worth going back.

Stopped for breakfast. Quality eggs, hash browns and nice biscuit. Ordered two eggs cooked right with bright yellow yolks. Bacon was good too. Coffee wasn't diluted like many restaurants are. Wait staff was pleasant. Will return.

Bad bread pudding French toast

Loaded hash browns are spicy and delicious! The bread pudding French toast looks better than it tastes, super dry, not recommended unless I had an old piece. It's also very huge. My husband had the Benedict and said it was good. Our server from Atlanta was great and super helpful with my family, great service!

Came in for lunch with the family. Ordered the Hoss, Biscuit Benedict, and kids chicken nuggies. The biscuits are great. The chicken is really good too. The sausage gravy had great flavor, it was unfortunate that the gravy was cold when the plate came out. When I notifies the server he brought out a bowl of hot gravy.

Was able to walk in and quickly get seated on a Saturday morning. Started with the Peppermint hot cocoa and pumpkin hot cocoa - both were overflowing with whipped cream and sprinkles and were delicious. Ordered the biscuit Benedict and the bread pudding French toast. The Benedict was perfect and the biscuit underneath was flaky but not overly dense. The Benedict came with quinoa hash browns - had never had that before was was pleasantly surprised by it. The French toast was served with blueberries and icing - was not expecting it to be dense but it was still good, probably could have used a little bit of whipped cream or a small bit of syrup. Was still good.

The Basic B with Hash Browns
Diamond K.

Had brunch on Sunday with a couple of friends and the wait wasn't too bad. I ordered the Basic B and it wasthe perfect amount for me. I didn't try any of the drinks but next time I go I'm going to have to, they all looked so good!

Mint Limeade

T-Rose is my go to order. I love the spicy limeade! fair prices for portions, especially compared to other brunch spots. The interior is very eclectic, with the cutest coffee mugs.

I like supporting local business especially while traveling sometimes you have to go to the chain…read morebut sometimes you don't. In this instance so glad I didn't Sauce Boss was amazing. We chose it because it was close to the hotel how lucky are we. We went with a group of five. We ordered three entrees and a side of wings. The wings were our starter and they were fantastic black and wings are great highly recommend. My wife and I split the fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and the cornbread it was absolutely fantastic cannot speak highly enough. My mom and dad split the shrimp and grits which they also said was great I did try the grits they were lovely, gooey, cheesy awesomeness. My sister had the kale salad as she needs gluten-free options it was easily the largest most fantastic looking kale salad I've ever seen, and she said it was great. The last thing I would probably comment on is the sauces with a name like sauce boss it better have good sauce and it did. Each and every sauce was unique from others I've had but didn't disappoint all where extremely tasty I especially like the spicy one that came with the fried chicken. At this restaurant they don't have salt and pepper on the table and for good reason everything was spiced and seasoned very well. As for service, our server was very attentive, very kind, made great suggestions and all that being that we came in within a half an hour, 45 minutes of closing, you can't beat that!!! If you want boring food don't eat here. If you want the same plain Jane thing you find at every other chain, don't eat here! On the other hand, if you want amazingly tasty food, service and sauces and a good story to tell eat here!!!

Draper, Utah…read more Southern food? Fried catfish? All in the middle of Utah? I had to try it. This is a sit down and order restaurant. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.

It had been a long…read moreday so I wanted a nice meal the staff was very friendly and accommodating the vibe is nice but there is a bar area so be warned if you're coming with children you may have to wait a bit longer for a table in the non bar area. It had a great menu with all the gluten free items clearly marked! I had a lemonade mocktail that was delicious but sadly no refills. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly honestly the best ribeye I've had in Utah. My mom had the lettuce wraps and my sister got their pizza. We were all very happy with our meal! Honestly a great find! I would come back in a heartbeat!

We pulled up to Tin Roof Grill right at 5pm and I'm not kidding... we thought it might be closed…read more Completely empty. Quiet. Slightly questionable vibes. Fast forward one hour later? Not a single open table. PACKED. And honestly... now I get it. I'll be real--I went in a little unsure. Most of the reviews are a few years old, and while there are photos posted by the owner, they don't say what anything is (which made ordering a bit of a guessing game). A few things I asked about were actually old specials... which was a little disappointing. BUT--this is where it turned. Our server went out of his way to ask the kitchen if they could recreate a taco salad I saw in one of the photos... and they said yes. Immediate gold star. And when the food came out?? Massive. Like... borderline shocking portions. My taco salad was on a giant Navajo taco base and LOADED--cheesesteak-style meat, fajita onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato, avocado, chipotle dressing, salsa... every bite was so good. And somehow it all stayed in place (which if you've ever fought a falling-apart taco salad, you know matters ). My husband got the fish and chips and I'm usually not a fish and chips girl--but this?? I'd order it myself next time. Flaky, moist fish with the crispiest, lightest batter. So, so good. We finished with cheesecake (raspberry key lime + blueberry sour cream). They were good and fresh, but not quite as wow as the entrees--just wished they were a little creamier and the key lime had more tang. But overall? We walked in unsure... and left already planning what we'd order next time. Safe to say: totally unexpected, totally impressed, and 100% coming back.
