I love this place! I had only tried their sweets (ha!) once a few years back, but yesterday I went to pick up some treats for my mom. Try everything in pistachio flavor. You will not regret this! The lemon macarons were so yummy too! Their cupcakes are moist, not too sweet, with just the perfect amount of frosting. $3 a cupcake. Well price, decently sized. Macarons have a bit of a bite to them, but they are creamy goodness. They are $2 a pop which is a bit much, but I don't mind because they are heavenly! Also, they have milk tea and black tea. I wanted a Lemon, but they ran out. At the recommendation of the owner Sandy the owner, who was really nice, I got the strawberry. It smelled awesome! I thought it was really good. There were strawberries in the cake, you can see it in this picture through the cup. I thought the icing was good too. I thought it was pretty comparable to my favorite, Celebrity Cupcake's strawberry. I thought Celebrity Cupcake's icing tastes lighter. The cake taste about the same. When in City Centre, i always pop into SWEET for a treat. I have only tried the cupcakes. I love the carrot cupcake. Vanilla is good as well. Haven't tried any others yet. I wouldnt describe the cupcakes as "Amazing" but i would say "Very Good". The interior of the place is simple but cute. They have a couple of couches and a couple armchairs to sit and relax. Staff is friendly. People always ask me to compare SWEET vs CRAVE.. thats hard. I like them both! Although at CRAVE no matter what flavor i get.. i always taste the milk..at SWEET, i dont. Everyone said this was the go-to place for macaroons and macaroon ice cream sandwiches... When we got there, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wasnt a huge fan of their macaroons... The cookie part is too sweet in my opinion. The cream filling is light and maybe that was on purpose to compliment the cookie but it thought overall it was still too sweet. When I asked for the ice cream sandwiches I was disappointed to find that they weren't freshly made. Instead they pulled it out of the freezer and handed it to you. SWEET is a cute and cozy space inside City Centre that serves macarons, coffee, and other desserts. The store is a small space, with one corner dedicated to macarons, another corner for a single booth seat and coffee table, and then the rest of the store for desserts and coffee. SWEET has a neat chalkboard wall listing the menu and prices. I usually will visit SWEET for their macarons. I'm not a macaron expert, but I know a tasty sweet when I eat one! You need to order particular flavors to get the best type of macaron SWEET has to offer. I've had a variety, but I have really enjoyed the chocolate and green tea macarons! The macaron has a thin crust with fluffy insides, and there's just the right amount of cream. I usually visit SWEET at night on the weekends, so it can be pretty crowded, and most likely there will be short lines. I have to say that this place is pretty over priced considering the size of the macarons that you get. You can't ever beat taste though. I love the texture of them. Very crispy and airy, and a nice filling in the middle. My absolute favorites are the pistachio and the honey lavender. I don't like how small and crowded the place can get. I had my suspicions as there is a Sweet in Boston and I found it all too ironic that they had the same name, their colors were brown and white and they both sold cupcakes. Sweet in Boston isn't new either... I have had the Vanilla and Red Velvet. I judge a place by vanilla cucpakes and I was pleased with this one. I thought the flavor was enough to recognize but not too sweet and the icing was nice. Red Velvet was ok. If you are looking for a strong red velvet flavor, this isn't your cupcake. By far the BEST cupcakes I've ever had. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, and I've tried many a cupcake shops- Crave in Houston, Polkadots and Hey Cupcake in Austin, and countless more. I have to say, Sweet takes the "cake" when it comes to cupcakes. With other places, the taste is inconsistent and some flavors are not as good as others. With Sweet, every single flavor is amazing. I've tried at least 6 cupcake flavors at Sweet, and I've loved every single one. The flavors are strong and very true to their names (Tiramisu, Strawberry, etc.), and they texture is just the right amount of moist. They box it up really cute for you too, so it's a great little gift to bring to someone if you're ever passing by. The whole atmosphere of City Centre is very chic and relaxed as well, so it's a great snack to munch on while enjoying the stores and scenery in the area. read more

I have been here many times and each visit never fails to put a smile on my face! The macaroons hit the spot especially their lavender, rose, peppermint and pistachio flavor but that's not even it! Although they aren't always consistent, I generally liked most things most of the time inc the macaron icecream, cupcakes, cookies, teas etc. And what I really loved was the great attitude and fun spirit of the employees there. BUT lately I have cut back tremendously on coming here. Seems like the quality has decreased and the new staff is so grumpy and often impolite. They seem disengaged from their work and obviously don't know or care too much about customer service. What used to be a sweet experience has turned into a bittersweet one. The shop is cute and well decorated with their variety of cupcakes and macaroons. The employees seems inexperienced as they struggle to recall what was ordered or how to pack the items. I ordered an assortment of macaroons and they tried cramming them all into the small plastic bag. When she realized it wasn't going to fit, she dumped them all out onto a tray and attempted to pack them into a small box. The small box only fit 6 macaroons so she had to dump them out again onto the tray and repack. No exaggeration on the dumping part. I think there's only one register so check out was a bit of a wait. Flavors are good and the consistency is moist. Cupcakes are $3 each or $33 for a dozen. Pricing for the macaroons aren't posted, but I'm guessing they're a little over $1 a piece. They didn't give me a receipt so I can't confirm. Cupcakes are good macarons are good. Coffee taste worse than McD coffee, and communication with customer is terrible. I ordered 4 cupcakes for office birthday individuals so I asked for each of them in a separate box. Since they use square POS and do not give paper receipts or even bother to ask if I wanted my receipt, m I checked my receipt via email later to find out that they charged $ 0.45 for 2 extra boxes. It would've been nice if they had told me beforehand instead of not telling me anything. I understand that boxes are cost to retails and I wouldn't have mind shelling out extra $.90 for the stupid box, but at least let your customers that you're CHARGING THEM for the boxes. It's even more stupid bc if i had bought 2 cupcakes and walked out & came back after 15 mins to buy 2 more in separate boxes, they wouldnt have charged extra. This is not just about paying extra 90cents + tax, its about the experience at the end of the day and managers definitely should talk about communicating better with customers with their staff.
