Ahmad is the man. I used Sweet House Bakery for my June 1 wedding. From the moment I walked into the door Ahmad greeting me and went over different cake options and offered samples for me to try right on the spot. I provided him with my cake topper and flowers I wanted them to use for the cake. We went with a 3 tier red velvet cake. About 3 weeks before the wedding, our wedding count increased so I opt to add a sheet cake that was vanilla with a strawberry filling. We also rented the cake stand from them. Everything was delivered on time and my cakes tased amazing. Flavor and moisture of the cake was top notch. Thank You Sweet House for your professionalism and sweets. At first I thought it was me but my 8 years old daughter even thought the were nasty. They taste like flour and sugar no butter at all. Maybe the cakes are better but I don't want to even try them.

Nice little bakery tucked in a strip mall on Roberts Road. The person at the counter told me that they had been there for 2 years but I had never noticed it. I stopped there because of a recommendation from a friend. They do custom cakes (they have some on display), they sell baking/cake decorating supplies (which is good to know), and they have a full case of baked goods for sale. I, of course had to try their Red Velvet cupcake, which was delicious all the way around! The cannoli and sprinkle cookies were a hit with the kids. The Pecan Bar was delicious; and the Lemon cupcake was very flavorful but I wasn't a big fan of the frosting. I would return if I was in the area. They have hours everyday, which is great when you need a bakery last minute. Some of the other items I noticed were specialty donuts. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was that they didn't have a credit card machine per say. I was going to pay with my card and the person at the counter pulled out one of those little mobile card readers to attach to their phone to ring me up. Luckily, I had enough cash to pay the bill because I don't feel comfortable having someone swipe my card to their phone.

Amazing customer service and great taste in cakes/sweets. The creativity is on point. Sweet house bakery always takes good care of my business. The owner is beyond accommodating. My wedding cake, my husbands birthday cake as well as my baby shower cupcakes and cookies were all ordered from here and have been a success each time. Great to know there is a bakery I can trust for any future events.

I stopped in here maybe a month ago to get pricing. Spoke to a guy about getting a black panther cake for my son. Showed him a picture of a pretty detailed cake feeding 40ppl. Im thinking he would break down the pricing. Off the top of his head, he said $325. ???? WOWSERS! Thats when I started to read some reviews on yelp and I came across a customer who had a bad experience here and recommended Creative Cakes in Tinley. Went to creative cakes with the exact same order and it came out at $197!! Thats a HUUUGE difference. They broke it down all the way to how much a letter would cost. And gave me a print out. Very professional there. I believe Sweet House is capitalizing on the supply and demand in the area. No other cake places around them specialize in these types of cakes. Business minded. Charge outrageous prices because you can. Go to Creative Cakes, trust me. read more

I have had their sweets at many occasions, theyre pretty good. Especially the cake pops. I decided to visit this place on my own and to place an order for an event I was planning. The location is very dry and not pleasing to the eye. They're better off finding a better and more appealing location elsewhere. If it weren't for the weddings and parties (advertisement) this place would probably never exist. Anyway, I walked in the first thing you see is an assortment of baking and party/cake decorations you can purchase, I was a bit disappointed there was water seeping onto the ground from I don't know where. What also disappointed me was that the owner said he didn't have some sort of catalog or website or pictures for me to view and choose what I wanted but instead a piece of paper with names on it. I spent a whopping hundred dollars for 70 pieces of pastry. That is pretty pricey if you ask me. I would've liked to order more but I don't know what they look like????? None the less they make excellent desserts and Beautifully clean presentations. And might re-order in the future. Please TIDY this place up a bit and keep flies out read more

Donut cakes werent all that. Brownie wasnt even brownie. It was chocolate cake that looked like brownies. The only thing i liked about the place was the custard filled puffs. I dont think ill be coming back here. Prices were reasonable though. I guess you get what u pay for. read more

BEST BAKERY AROUND! Was recommended to this place by Several friends and i needed a cake ASAP for wedding. Time flew by and before i knew it i was 2 weeks away from my wedding and other bakeries knowing that attempted to up charge me for urgency. But not Sweet House Bakery, he made me feel very at ease with the process and assured me everything would be as I expected. He made the cake table look beautiful and used his own touch and taste on creating the cake. Overall i was extremely satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone for cakes sweets or anything. I love this bakery!! Just found out about it from a friend not too long ago. The owners are soo sweet and professional! Their desserts are delicious, and reasonably priced! I recommended them to my sister and her fiancé. They went in right before they were going to sign a contract at another bakery for their wedding cake and tried their cakes and sweets! So busy. So busy. BEST PRICES you'll ever find. Quality sweets, the cookie dough, it's not an overwhelming amount of cream cheese. Sometimes too much over powers the taste- this dough is perfect for the amount of filling they add to the Kolchki. (I'm sorry, I spelled that wrong. )So the balance is great. Not too much dough, Not too much filling. Balance. I love that I can dip it into my Tea and it doesn't fall apart. Personally. They don't sell tea and this is Take Away Only. ORDERS are encouraged. There was a lot of clear signs for customers . Pick up was very organized. They use a number system to manage it well. Like the deli department in many stores. But this is the GREAT Bakery. And the price is so reasonable , wow. They care about their community and it shows. Polite people. Busy but Organized. Many can't get that part of business straight so I applaud them. Disciplined. Thank you for still being here in the community and we love it. HIGHLY Recommend checking out this area. Lots to do over there. Fun stuff. Skate rinks, Weeds Stores, PORTILLOS, Great Dentists here with Superb Representations. So try them! The smores fudge brownie was Awesome also

The workers were so friendly and kind. I walked in and they offered me samples right away. The cookies are soft, the desserts are delicious, and the custom cakes are unbelievably incredible. The ingredients taste fresh. The sweets don't taste processed like the packaged stuff at grocery stores. The place is so cute and clean looking. I work right down the street and stop in few times a week to pick up my sweet cravings. I highly recommend the visit! read more

Love the look of the place. Great customer service very friendly and welcoming. the displays of the sweet taste as good as they look. One of my favorites are the Red velvet donuts. My daughter is very picky and her wedding was fast approaching we needed a cake that was just right. Sweet House came through for us and made her a beautiful cake that combined two designs to complete the look she wanted. Thank you Ahmad it was delicious and moist as well.
