From the day I contact her, she has been more than accommodating with my wishes (demands) for my cupcakes and cakes for the wedding. Like most brides, I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted the cupcakes and cakes to look but Cheryl guided me through it very patiently. She sent me photos and described how she can decorate cupcakes and cakes to meet my expectations. I am so thankful Cheryl responded to my never-ending emails and was accommodating to all the changes I made leading up to the big event in my life. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to sign on with someone who is new to the business. I am so glad I trusted my sister and my taste buds (samples were amazing!). She blew me away with her decorations and presentation of cupcakes and cakes. Red velvet cake/cupcakes with chocolate chip was so tasty!! My guests were pleasantly surprised with the moisture of the cupcakes and those hidden chocolate chips!! They all thought it was delicious!! Yay! Oh, not to forget... Cheryl drove 2 hours in traffic on a Friday to deliver my cakes. She is amazing. Thanks Brown Eyed Cupcake Maker!! I will post photos once I receive them from my photographer!

It was VERY short notice, but Crystal responded to my inquiries quickly, was able to make suggestions that worked for a quick turn around AND some specific requests! The extent of work putting this together not to mention sourcing each selected product is something you'll be happy was done for you. This is much more than a charcuterie board on steroids.... It's truly a work of art, a conversation piece & will blow your friends & family mind. We had over 120 adults & around 15 kids. Everyone found something. We opted no nuts/shellfish due to allergies. We were initially working with another…read morebaker to make cheesecakes for our wedding dessert and they unfortunately were not professional and left us hanging in the wind. Fear not, Sweets by Kash to the rescue!!! I called Lindsey up about 3.5 months out from our wedding date and explained everything. She did say that was not her specialty, but man she hit it out of the park! We were having a small wedding and wanted to have cheesecake as our "cake". We already had a sweets table and wanted to beef up the options for guests, as well as pay homage to our first date. Our first date was at the Cheesecake Factory and we thought it would be perfect for us. It was easy to set up a tasting. We chose to pick up the cheesecake from Lindsey and have a little date night at home and test it all out. The packaging was super cute and the decorations on top were beautiful. But the flavors, WOW! I think cheesecake is so underrated. It's rich and creamy and is such a great dessert. We devoured the tasting cheesecake in a few days LOL. Honestly, with how simple everything was to set up and get answers to our questions immediately, I knew we had someone good. But the flavors, MMMMMMMMM!!! We didn't even finish an entire piece and I knew Lindsey was the baker for us. We love to support local businesses as well, so in the end everything worked out. So we booked Sweets by Kash and had her deliver to our venue and set up the cheesecake for us. They were all so beautiful and we got so many compliments on the taste. We ordered chocolate chip cheesecake and Oreo, as well as a gluten free chocolate chip cheesecake. Our GF guests really appreciated being able to eat a dessert in its entirety and said it was outstanding. We opted to save the top so we could enjoy that deliciousness all weekend, but someone walked away with it sadly. I will absolutely placing an order so we can celebrate our wedding anniversary with our special cheesecake (and no, I will not be waiting an entire year, because that cheesecake is too dang good to wait!). Thank you Lindsey for being amazing to work with and I don't have the professional photos back yet, but if you zoom in on this one, you can see the lovely set up in the background.

I called recently to discuss a cake order and was genuinely taken aback by how rude the owner became over a simple conversation. I've noticed that when customers express concerns, the response often seems to be that people "don't understand small businesses." I do understand that running a small business is hard--but being kind to the people trying to give you their business shouldn't be. UPDATE: Just to clarify the owner's response: I am not the customer whose cake issue prompted the social media post. That was someone else entirely. My review was about my own phone conversation with the owner. Ironically, the assumption that my review must be about something other than my actual experience rather reinforces the point I was making.
