Moreover, I recently uncovered an undiagnosed dairy sensitivity, and I was grateful when the staff member confirmed that the vegan cookies were dairy-free. This is really a late night treat. First time here. Nice concept. Cookies and ice cream. Just wish they had one in Rockford. I mean we have like five colleges here. Order ahead online. Staff was super friendly and efficient. The big cookies we hot, gooey, and fresh. I can't say I really liked the mini cookies or the butter cream spread/dip, though. Facility was clean and inviting. Everyone was going ballistic over these cookies! We have tried them several times, now. First time we tried the buttercream frosting- amazing and my favorite! We prob waited for 20 mins or so, but we're patient because they are a new business. Second time, waited in an even longer line for mini cookies (prob like 6 people in front of us) and it took them quite some time to get to us- yes, I know this is a new business- but I'm not sure if the workers don't have experience or something, because there was literally a time the guy was just standing there like as if he didn't know what to do, or not sure what he was actually doing. When we finally got our cookies after an even longer wait-(this is the reason for my rating)- a worker had our cookies all together- we ordered minis, half red velvet, half chocolate chip. The man who took our order put 6 red velvets in the box and told us that the chocolate chip cookies would be coming up. Well, a girl in the back brought a box up and said it was our order. The man said "6 red velvet and 6 chocolate chip?" The girl said yes. Well when we got home, no it wasn't our order. 3 red velvets and the rest chocolate chip. I understand it's a new business but when you're spending over $20 for cookies of all things (a wee pricy to me, but they are damn good cookies), I would hope my order is correct. Hence why I asked if the workers were experienced. However, ice cream was also very expensive but it was pretty good cream. Next time I'll just buy from the store legit lol save ya some money. But I get the concept, and the ice cream was amazing with the cookies. I would prob do it again for a little date or something. They apparently do not deliver 1.3 miles. What kind of delivery plan is that? What is the point of pretending to fulfill the munchies and cravings if you don't deliver 1.3 miles away. I have given this location two chances. Third time will not be a charm. Not happenping on my watch. First visit cookies were undercooked and greasy. Second time which was Saturday March 19TH, 2022. Cookies were burnt and hard as a rock. I had already left Dekalb to bring the cookies to someone who had a medical procedure the day before and wanted to cheer them up. ( It should be noted in spite of the first trip I thought I'd give them a second chance.) Forget it. Save yourself a trip. Make your own they'll be better than this. I had high hopes for this cookie. I don't know if they need to work out there employees but I will not waste my time and money. So disappointing. read more
