Two young ladies worked efficiently. It smells like a bakery inside, which always makes it better. The eclair I got was great. Fudge top and custard filling was top notch. The shell was also very fresh. The two maple doughnuts were really good. I'll have the cupcake tomorrow, but that looks tasty as well. Reasonably priced too. Easy to find, and street parking with a meter, but you get 12 minutes for a penny. How cool is that?

I tried the coffee/crumb cake, pecan fudge shortbread square and their chocolate chip cookie. Everything in the store is gluten free with vegan and dairy free options, as well (perfect for us almond moms, at least that's what my a-hole kids call me). I am a baked goods snob, having owned a catering company that specialized in baked goods, and this shit was TOP TIER!! Truly, you wouldn't know it's gluten free...seriously. The cookie was gooey with the crispy edge you're looking for, the cake was light and not grainy, in the slightest, and the shortbread fudge bar was rich and delicious! Make sure you run to this place if you're seeking amazing and allergy friendly treats! You can thank me later.

Oh, and as a bonus the girl I spoke to the first time on the phone was super rude then basically hung up on me. Just go get your cake at Jewel's-- it basically looks the same.

They are always coming up with fun and unique flavors, and the stuff they post early in the morning is honestly half the reason I check Facebook. The pastries are on the sweeter side for sure, so having a whole one can be a lot, but that is just me. Still totally worth it. The decor inside is so cute too. Definitely gives you Alice in Wonderland vibes with all the little trinkets and tea time touches. Super charming spot. If you are into sweets and fun vibes, it is a must-try.

Honestly, I wish I could give them negative numbers because even one star is overrated. I can't speak for their regular menu, but I ordered a surprise bag on the TooGoodToGo app. Maybe I was wrong for assuming it would contain items from the day before, but what I received should not have been given away--let alone sold for any amount. It clearly had been sitting for at least a couple of days. What I received sent a clear message: they don't value their customers. It's profit over people. Why they would serve that crap is beyond my understanding. Honestly, it should have been trashed. It wasn't even palatable. I couldn't tell what the pastries were supposed to be. They were inedible by my standards, but I bit into two different pastries to give them the benefit of the doubt. They weren't just old and stale--they were bland and stingy on the filling. It was obvious they were several days past shelf life and likely not appetizing even when freshly baked. It honestly felt like the cashier just went in the back and threw a handful of old leftovers into a bag. My experience was 4 months ago, I waited and came back here to check out other reviews older and newer before changing mines just in case it was a one off situation. Unfortunately, it seems to be a consistent pattern. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
