Let's taco-bout it! This place is very vibrant like a beautiful red flower! Place is cozy and small but , the service is super friendly and attentive like a golden retriever and a tennis ball. Food was phenomenal very flavorful and a good proportion, I will say wish the Mexican rice had a little bit more flavor to it. But all and all delicious and will be returning soon! - have you try the tequila!

The service was really good, I had the Quesabirrias I didn't like the fact that the cheese was hardly there, I could hardly see it or taste it, I thought it didn't have any at first, a lot of meat but hardly any cheese, i personally did not like the flavor. It was my first time therebut I am willing to try it one more time just because of their good customer service.

I finally got to try this place not too long ago after hearing how good they are! I'm all for supporting local businesses so we were pretty excited to try it! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and got seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helpful with anything if we had questions about the food or menu. The shop is very small so there is limited seating. It has a lot of bright, warm colors that feel inviting, like you're visiting a friend's house. They provide you with their house tortilla chips and salsa, which was pretty tasty. It's not too hold, more of a mild salsa, so everyone can enjoy it. I also ordered the horchata, which was really good! Nice and sweet and not too watered down like some other horchatas I've tried. I got the shrimp ceviche (ceviche de camaron) and they were so good! Everything tasted so fresh with some nice size shrimp. My fiancé loved her birria tacos and they were drenched with the oil and consume. I tried a little bit of it and thought it was tasty, just a bit too overwhelming with the oil for me. The place is a bit expensive and they charge you for sides such as rice and beans and even for water. They don't have water in a glass, but will sell you bottles of water. Overall, the food and experience were great!

What stood out the most was the excellent service! Would definitely recommend Andale's to friends and family. Food was flavorful but careful with the sauces, some could be spicy!

Vegetarian tacos - street taco style

My take on this new taco shop: a fresh, modern boutique restaurant with semi-authentic Mexican cuisine at semi-affordable prices. This is tiny place in a great location - near to the library and the town's main street. The parking lot is small and can fill up fast. You also have to be careful when walking into the building from the parking lot as you may be up against a line drive-through line en route to either the front or side entrance. Seating is open - you're welcome to sit anywhere you can (if dining in). We dine-in, and easily found an open table for 2 at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The décor is modern and cohesive. It almost felt like a chain at first, but I think they just have some solid Marketing muscle behind them and it paid off! Lots to look at and enjoy while waiting for your meal. We were provided complimentary chips and salsa and all drinks are bottled including water which you have to pay for (obs). Alcoholic beverages including margaritas are available for purchase. Nice selection of salsas including two homemade ones. I ordered vegetarian tacos and they were mediocre. Side of beans and a side of rice are also additional costs - the tacos don't come as a single priced meal. Both the beans and rice were WAY to salty. After two bites of each I had to pass. I was also hoping for refried beans not black beans. We also got a steak and chicken taco - you can have these dressed up Mexican street taco style or more America with sour cream and shredded cheese. The option is nice. We did one of each and preferred the Mexican street taco style. They have a lot of customizable options [think Chipotle bowls or burritos] on the menu. A few breakfast options as well which was nice to see. Service was friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait a long time for anything which was appreciated. Overall, I'd say it's worth a try especially if you favor more American style Mexican food.

Quesa Birria is the most delicious Mexican dish I've ever had in my life.

The restaurant has lots of windows so there is plenty of natural lighting. The restaurant is very clean and the tables, booths, floors, and walls are high quality. I ordered the Gyros platter and it came with a choice of potato and I picked Greek potatoes. They were lacking in flavor but they had the perfect texture and were good. The soup today was beef and vegetables but I chose to have the side salad with Greek dressing. The dressing did not have much flavor... Just tasted like vinegar. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. The Gyro meat was cooked very nicely and tasted delicious. I would definitely eat this again. There were some really nice crunchy and crispy pieces... Not fatty or gristly at all. I love that they included feta cheese, I love eating that with the pita. This has to be the best gyros I have had in a long time. My husband ordered big farm breakfast. The eggs cooked over easy were good. The corn beef hash was cooked perfectly (which is the most important part of this breakfast in my opinion). The hash browns could use a little more taste. The pancakes were good as well. Definitely filled him up. He would order again for sure. The menu has lots of great items on it. Cannot wait to come back and try something else. Highly recommend dining here.

We started with two cups of cream of chicken rice soup and was surprised that this bakery didn't offer rolls with the soup, so I chose to use the toast from the meal I ordered. It worked perfectly. I will add that soup was served barely lukewarm. Not ideal, but we ate it. Next, we ordered a Tuna Melt with fries and a Lincoln Inn Special. We both agreed the food was good. Our server was very nice. She was attentive and assisted when asked. We also ordered the Strawberry Crepes to go. But we couldn't stop there, lol. While at the register, there were cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls, so we grabbed one of each. We enjoyed those a little later while we waited for our child who was at the camp. Both were delicious! I think it's great how the photos of many years are going across the walls and that they support the local college and their sports. Such a nice touch. There was a gentleman who came over and introduced himself and asked if I knew anyone in the photos. I do not recall his name. He was kind and told me about the photos and about how he created one in particular which was rather impressive.

I did an online order/door dash so I did not get to see the actual place in person. From photos online it looks great!! Friends ordered lattes and lots of other things and they all came back made properly and tasting great. Not too milky not too much flavor or lack of flavor. Everything is great! I would definitely order from them again and I plan to as I continue my stay here in Illinois! I recommend it all! Not too badly priced either - especially with door dash. 20oz cold brew was $5.95. They had so many more items to choose from so I am looking forward to ordering from them again.

It has a pretty small interior with only a few places to sit but that's okay, we were planning to take our coffee (and breakfast sandwiches) back to my in-laws. Staff was super friendly and kindly answered all of our questions and ground the fresh coffee beans that my wife got. We both got delicious lattes and bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwiches. Sandwich was good. Pretty classic pre-built sandwich but it was tasty and my toddler ate most of the egg off my sandwich! Lattes seem to run on the sweeter side, still a little sweet, even with added espresso so if sweet isn't for you, I'd suggest you ask for less syrup in your drink. Overall we were very happy with our stop and will gladly visit again in the future.
