I almost got back in line to get chips and guac because they don't offer complementary chips but every time I thought about it there was somebody in line. Overall of the great lunch spot. The restaurant is very spacious, vibrant and has a nice atmosphere. I order two steak tacos and one chicken taco. They're pretty small for the prize, but I didn't realize they came topped with a spoonful of guacamole, which was honestly really good. It also looked like they were making their tortillas in house, which I thought was pretty cool. Overall, I'd say it's a great option for lunch but keep in mind. It can get pretty busy so you may have a bit for a wait.

We found parking quickly on the street, and ended up asking for a seat on the outside patio, which was nice - although some bees and hornets were around (another group that was sitting outside opted to go inside because of that). The indoor seating area is on the smaller side. Menu prices are only viewable via a QR Code - you can read a menu but there are no prices on the menu they give you. Our wait staff/server was young - I felt she was not too customer-oriented, nor too helpful or attentive. The food was mediocre - we did not really enjoy our visit. I ordered a taco and a tostada, both with chicken. When we got our checks at the end of the meal, they had automatically added a 20% tip to the check. You can only pay via an app or online, so be prepared for that. You must pay very close attention the checkout screen online when you pay - they give you an option for adding ANOTHER tip - you could be easily tricked into thinking you did not leave a tip, but this extra button is on top of the tip they automatically added to the bill. Pay close attention - my button was AUTOMATICALLY selected to add another 25%! This felt so sneaky. My recommendation is to avoid and find other options for eating in the area.

The meat is high quality and nicely cooked. Rice and beans were very good as well. The thing we missed was more flavor and heat!! I'd love to get a little heat from jalapenos or spices, but it was not there. The salsa was not too hot either. We're not heat freaks by any means, but we do love some spice in our Mexican food. The burrito also had rice in it so my side of rice was probably not needed. All in all the food is good and high quality. What I'd love to have is more flavor and heat!!

Our first visit was excellent, our server was a young lady who could not have been more accommodating. The food was enjoyed by all, even memorable according to our niece. This last visit was virtually 180 degrees of inattentive service, almost to the point being rude. My chicken enchiladas had no sauce but was topped with CHEDDAR CHEESE. I enjoy some Mexican heritage and never was offered cheddar cheese. My niece related that there is a sign Please wait to be seated. My brother in law, is 89. When he saw the unoccupied table, where we sat the last time, he went to it. Evidently, our surly waitress took exception to this. This happened on Tuesday at noon, there were a few table occupied. So what's the issue? We will try Rositas again but it will probably the last time. There are a lot of food venues in this college town. We dont need to drive hours for bad food and equally bad service.
