We were in the area and wanted to try something new. This place is very nice. There is plenty of parking and lots of seating. There are booths and low tables. The restaurant has lots of windows so there is plenty of natural lighting. The restaurant is very clean and the tables, booths, floors, and walls are high quality. I ordered the Gyros platter and it came with a choice of potato and I picked Greek potatoes. They were lacking in flavor but they had the perfect texture and were good. The soup today was beef and vegetables but I chose to have the side salad with Greek dressing. The dressing did not have much flavor... Just tasted like vinegar. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. The Gyro meat was cooked very nicely and tasted delicious. I would definitely eat this again. There were some really nice crunchy and crispy pieces... Not fatty or gristly at all. I love that they included feta cheese, I love eating that with the pita. This has to be the best gyros I have had in a long time. My husband ordered big farm breakfast. The eggs cooked over easy were good. The corn beef hash was cooked perfectly (which is the most important part of this breakfast in my opinion). The hash browns could use a little more taste. I'd seen this place driving north and thought we should stop in. First off, this is a family restaurant. My wife noted lots of seniors and construction workers in the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generally large. Let's start with dinner - my wife was looking at their meat loaf or all you can eat chicken, and she went with the all you can eat chicken. I had their roast beef sandwich, which is best described when looking at the menu as exaggerated. The chicken was served hot, fresh out of the fryer. From the darker gold color of the breading, either they have the oil too hot, or are using old oil It should be golden brown - this was trending towards brown. The chicken itself was hot and fresh. The veggies served with it as a side were likely canned and not fresh. I had my beef sandwich with fries, which were steak fries. It came with a bowl of chicken soup (not a cup) and I did find one piece of chicken in the soup. And that's all the chicken I found. The beef sandwich was okay - the beef was thick cut, and it came with Au Jus. I had to salt it and use the Au Jus, or it was pretty dry. Service was prompt - our glasses stayed full. The bathrooms were clean, but the door on the westmost bathroom opened with a bang into the wall, which was a bit startling. Summary: Lots of food. Very reasonable prices. Good service. read more

From service to food was no good. Our server was always Mia. I ordered a patty melt extra onions, soup of the day was broccoli cheddar and a slice of ham. I never got the ham. The onions on the patty melt had some raining on them that made them taste like they were soaking in lemon juice. The soup was awful. Like trying to eat glue. We tried this place a few weeks ago... the food was awesome, the lady brings the check to the table and says "they'll total it up at the register...." ... I totaled it up and did the tax before getting to the register and the woman over charged me $5... I thought "honest mistake." ..... Go there again today with my mother, and they did it again. This time we watched the register and physically watched the lady purposely ring up $10.99 for each meal rather than the $9.99 it cost, what a sleaze ball thing to do..... So be aware she going up to pay, make sure you watch the register and add it up before getting to the register because I have a feeling these "honest mistakes" happen a lot.... It sucks that they're so crooked or at least the check out girl is, because the food is amazing, but we won't be back for these reasons. read more

This was our fourth time coming to this restaurant, the third time my husband order chicken it was fine but the cooking took very long when my husband ordered the food the waiter asked if he wanted vegetables or other side, my husband asked what kind of vegetables and the waiter said broccoli, my husband said oh yes broccoli is fine, the broccoli was very mushy, my husband likes it more firm, the owner came saying they don't serve broccoli and they did it for him that they only give mixed vegetables, well the waiter did not say so he offered broccoli that is why my husband ordered it, we will not order something they don't have. The owner very prideful and I could see he was angry. We decided to go back this evening giving it another shot, my husband ordered the all you can eat fish, the pieces were huge and the waitress came asking if they wanted more, we went with a friend who is visiting from North Carolina, the same waiter that said they had broccoli came requesting our friends plate while he had food still and he was waiting for more fish, they give you 2 more pieces after 20 min of waiting, the waiter kept asking our friend for his plate we told him they were waiting for more fish but the waiter still took his plate, the fish came and after a long wait my husband lost his appetite so he ate half and asked if he could get a box the waitress very rude told him no you cant take it you have to eat it here, we never have felt more violated treating us as if we were there just for a free dinner, they rather throw food in the trash than give it to the customer as they already ate half, horrible service. We will never go back there made us look as thief's, they are offering the fish and people can't take it if they can't eat it all, horrible service. We spend a lot of money in restaurants I guess they won't be getting our business anymore, with all that is going on and they rather throw the food in the trash or maybe they give those pieces to other people who knows these days nothing surprises us anymore, or maybe they are racist as our friend that came with us is a color gentleman. A bit of background on my experience with this establishment , today was our 4th time in a month and a half, AND it will be OUR LAST.. I have never been so humiliated before, I even had a guest from out of town with me and my wife. Let me warn Everyone If you have NORMAL eating habits and understand on ANY all you can eat, If you do not finish your plate you NORMALLY will be able to take the left overs with you.. That is also assuming the establishment doesnt think you are ordering to get take it home with you,, Hear is the problem with this place AND its the reason i will never go back for their fried chicken they offer all you can eat for chicken and fish, GREAT BUT heres how that works... they give you a certain amount of pieces and unlike ANYPLACE i have ever been, they actually cook up the meal AGAIN,, so the way it works say today for the fish , gave me 3 pieces of fish , i finished those, and asked for 2 more as the waitress asked me , the issue here is after you have done eating literally be prepared to wait another 15-20 min AND if there is alot of people for the chicken i waited for 3 pieces 30 more minutes, now when someone is near done eating it is NOT easy to start eating again, and we get full and this is why they do this. So i explained to the owner last time and i assumed he would change it , how hard it is to have 30-50 fish extra on hand heating for no more than 1 hour?? no they are not going to do that they are going to make you wait and then as today, i asked the lady for 2 boxes to take what i cant finish. I got humiliated in front of my wife and company this girl tells me ohh "you cannot take anything with you" well this is a stupid statement because UNLESS you think i am ordering to take out and take advantage she would of never said it. This is extremely poor business practices, after arguing and telling her, to wait 20 min for more fish, i heard i am sorry, I expressed it to her the way I saw it, as judgemental, and she said let me speak to the owner, she comes back 5 min later :im sorry the owner will not give you 2 boxes, I said wow well know know what lets leave now, so now they have 3-4 uneaten and what are they going to do throw them away? or perhaps put them back on someones plate? who knows , but what a unwise decision that was, lets lose a customer, and on top of that throw out the fish when we could of said sure whatever you dont eat, save up and take home with you gained the customer and we would of been back.. I think the stupid masks are getting people brain dead If this continues this business will close NOONE wants to wait for a second time to cook another meal how easy this would of been to have some on the side and give them out quicker.. we will never come back here the owner is pridefull and UNWISE in business for sure places like this will close do to people getting treated as we did,,, instead you pissed off a customer not to mention embarassed us many places to go next fri it wont be rise and shine... Kind of plain on the outside, but the inside has been updated very nicely. We were greeted with big smiles when we entered and were seated immediately. We arrived around 11:00 am on a Sunday. Two of us ordered breakfast while I had the chicken fried steak special with hash browns. The breakfast plates were well above average for diner food--great taste and pleasant presentation. My chicken fried steak appeared to be home-made with a crispy crust that didn't get soggy from the chicken gravy, while the meat was tender. Hash browns were partly crispy and very good. We were served quickly even though the place was very crowded. Empty plates were removed quickly as well, and water and coffee cups were kept full. This family restaurant was a very pleasant surprise and recommend it very highly for people looking for an excellent "diner" experience. read more
