The place is clean, bright and cozy without being cramped. The service is friendly and helpful. The menu is not too big nor too small....just right. We ordered the spinach pie - flakey crust, delicious spinach & feta filling with herbs. Most definitely homemade fresh, not a frozen food service product. Gyro dinner with spinach rice and Greek potatoes - gyro meat was tender and not overly spiced/flavored like, once again, a nasty food service product. Potatoes were cooked perfectly. Soft and seasoned spot-on, obviously made fresh and not left dying under a heat lamp. The spinach rice was tasty but a bit salty. I can assume that since everything is fresh made this might just be a one-off. I am more than willing to try this dish again to test out this hypothesis. I definitely recommend. Please support this venue to assure that this option for an alternative to bar food in downtown Sycamore lasts for a long time to come

The chicken was super tasty and I loved the block of feta. Although, for 15.00, I could get double the salad and chicken and get pita bread at another local Greek restaurant. I will try something different next time but I think my husband will stick with the Gyro dinner and we will just ask for more sauce and pita bread.

Okay, that's a disappointment. He went with the non-Tenderloin souvlaki, and I had their gyros platter. The gyros was good. The regular souvlaki was okay. The general theme of the restaurant is the same - that Greek Isle ambiance. The service was the same. Just the best item on the menu - GONE. Along with my return business apparently.

After looking through some options decided to try Pub 64. My kids aren't very adventurous so they fought me a bit and wanted something they already know and like. Nevertheless, I was providing the transportation, and off we went. I had the "Not Your Momma's BLT," and my kids had a couple of Craft Burgers and a pork belly flatbread. I'm generally not generous with giving 5 star reviews, but the two kids eating the burgers (which have a heavy layer of cheese, a lot of bacon, and a fried egg on top) BOTH said that this was the best burger they had ever eaten. Seriously. These are teens and they were super impressed. The wait for the food was a tad on the long side, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, with just the right amount of TV's. The waitresses were all super friendly and even entertaining to a degree. This all made the wait perfectly acceptable. It's a nice place to have to wait 5 extra mins for your food. I'll just say that. My BLT had a layer of pork belly, cooked very nicely and full of flavor, and was served with a layer of some kind of spicy mayo, which was outstanding. Honestly, it might have been the best sandwich I have had in years. It was downright amazing and had just the right amount of spice, and freshness and flavor. I can't wait to have it again. The boys both raved throughout eating their burgers. My 11 yr old couldn't finish his but wanted to bring the other half home to put in his school lunch on Monday. They both very much enjoyed their fries and I had the home made potato chips, which were very good (I don't usually like homemade chips!). My 16 yr old ordered a porkbelly Asian zing flatbread thingy that he said he very much enjoyed. I tried some of it and loved it. This joint is well worth a visit. I can't imagine someone not liking this spot. Their menu is somewhat limited, but I consider that a good thing. Although it's a somewhat smaller menu, there are plenty of things for kids and plenty of different items that look pretty good. We can't wait to go back and try it again. Considering it's the best sandwich I've had in years, and my two boys both rated it the best burgers of their lives, I can't give a rating below 5 stars! Additionally, they have a very nice selection of beer on draft. Some well known, reliable brews, and some local, craftier stuff. I was impressed. Very nice.

Very delicious. I love the french fries. They are battered so they're very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Italian beef is tender. And the chicken wings are a good size. So I opted for the other entree, which was Macaroni and Cheese, with Buffalo Chicken on top. It was served hot (in both senses, the hot sauce on the chicken was good!) and tasty.
