We get their cookies all the time and they are always fresh, soft and taste amazing. The owner is great and always friendly.

The box of Easter cookies were given to us as a gift. $14 for 6 cookies, were relatively small for the price (a lot of effort into the gift box). The sugar cookies taste and smell like you are eating a stick of butter, not my favorite. My kids didn't like them either. Cannot comment on anything else. read more

Pumpkin squares were delicious. Very moist and fresh. Sugar cookies were really good. I let them set in fridge a day or two and it seemed the flavors came together after being in fridge. They were super fresh as well so I kinda like them next day or two:) The shop is adorable and welcoming. Loved the decor and merchandise. Shop owner could not have been any nicer. Having used another bakery in the past and received poor customer service from it's owner, I decided to try Polka Dot Bakery for the first time. I ordered my daughter's 19th Birthday cake from Polka Dot. I must say, even from the initial phone call to order and all the way to pick up time, I received very good customer service. The owner took an interest in getting to know my daughter so as to make her cake more custom. We agreed on a soft, pastel vintage style cake. Polka Dot nailed it! Not only was it gorgeous but the cake was delicious too! My daughter LOVED the cake! All of my daughter's college friends loved it too! I also found that Polka Dot pricing is cheaper than what I've paid in the past. I look forward to continued business with Polka Dot. It's refreshing to see an owner so passionate, upbeat, and friendly! Tip: Call ahead for ordering. I could not agree less with the review about poor customer service. I was a walk in on a busy Halloween weekend. I just walked over from having breakfast and wanted to check the new bakery out. The staff was super friendly and quick to help everyone out. I asked if they had any small round cakes for my daughter's third birthday. They were awesome and whipped up a gorgeous cake on the spot for me. The cake received so many compliments and tasted great. The only suggestion I would have is to have the menu of offerings posted somewhere and slices of cake to go in the showcase. Other than that, it was great! read more

We had heard such great things about this bakery and friends have raved about how wonderful the cake and cookies are from them. Unfortunately, our experience was not even close to wonderful in fact it has been horrorific. We can not comment on the taste of the product because we never got the opportunity to actually taste it. We can only comment on their VERY POOR customer service. We first attempted to contact the bakery through their website by sending an e-mail. After 5 days of not getting a response, we tried to call them. Got an answering machine with a message that was over 10 days old. That should have been our first red flag that they did not check their voicemail. Did not leave a message but waited till lunch time to call again hoping to catch someone in the shop. Again, no one answered the phone and got the same message saying their were booked to end of June but if we had event after the end of June to leave a message and they would call you back. Left a message. Got no call back. Waited another 5 days and called in the morning. Got voicemail, called again in early afternoon got voicemail. Called a third time and yet AGAIN got the voicemail and left another message. It has been 3 days since then still WITHOUT a reply and yes their voicemail says the same thing it did the first time we called. I can understand being busy, but show some professionalism and check your voicemail, return a phone call or an e-mail once in awhile. Is that really to much to ask?? Too bad that their lack of professionalism has cost them a large order for an upcoming event. Another reliable bakery in town has gotten our business. read more

I couldn't think of a possible negative thing to report about polka dot! I've ordered several speciality cakes/pastries from polka dot and have been blown away every time! And I couldn't disagree more with the negative comment about poor customer service. Any time I reach out to Paige to place an order (a couple times on very short notice) she responds promptly! She's never turned a single one of my ideas down and has blown my expectations out of the water every time. I only trust polka dot with my special cakes! Oh and by the way...the glazed sugar cookies are INCREDIBLE! I always end up leaving with a box or two! read more

My best friend ordered a cake from here. She was heartbroken to see how terrible it turned out. There were scratches and thumb prints all over the fondant. It looked rushed and sloppy. We counted about 20 scratches in the fondant. Very disappointing. I'd give no stars but their cupcakes rock. Go somewhere else for cake designs. read more

The cake was phenomenal! I ordered a two tier cake for my sisters graduation party. The cake was beyond what I expected and was stunning. They did everything I asked and more!
