Hobnobbers offers 1/2 price pizza (any pizza) on Mon nights. I They get pretty busy by 6pm.....sometimes there are groups that come in. There is 2 waitresses/bartenders that bust their arse. Kayla n Shawna are phenomenal. We love Hobnobbers pizza & usually order it for takeout. Our favorite is the large thin-crust, cheese, sausage and half pepperoni pie. In the 5+ years we've been ordering, we've found their "ready" times very accurate, never have had to wait longer than the stated pickup time. Ingredients always taste fresh. The sausage is especially tasty, with little to no aftertaste. The crust is flaky and mildly seasoned, giving it a unique flavor that keeps us coming back. If I could give it no stars I would. I used to like this place but I've been in twice in the last 3 weeks and both times they were not serving their regular menu just an abbreviated menu less than 1 sheet of paper that was basically just pizza. They blamed it on being short handed. The first time we walked out because we really wanted hot wings and had gone in specifically for that because we'd seen them before and they looked great. Guess what hot wings, one of the easiest foods to cook are not on the abbreviated menu. Today when we went it we were told they were serving the abbreviated menu and we should have left but I felt sorry for the waitress so we thought we'd order 1 of the only two appetizers on the menu, pretzel bites. Well it took forever to get them out to us and when they arrived there were 8 1" pieces of pretzel and a cup of cheese for $8. Our total bill for 1 order of pretzel bites and 1 Pepsi since my wife just ordered water was $12. While we were there 2 tables that had ordered before us still hadn't gotten their food and 2 other groups came in, saw the abbreviated menu, and left before ordering. One group said they were going to McDonalds instead. How bad does your restaurant have to be that customers would rather eat at McDonalds??? Talking to the waitress she said they are serving the abbreviated menu every Friday and most Saturdays because they are short handed. It's sad because this place is close to my parents place and my wife and I used to meet my parents there for pizza and Parmesan nuggets at least once a month but we probably won't be going there any more. Tried this place again after a few years off We've had several mediocre experiences in the past. Place wasn't super busy, but our waitress was running all over the place- overworked. It seemed like she had every table in the place. The rest of the very young staff were little to no help to her, other then delivering our food. I don't like when places have others bring the food, because We got our drinks, 3 different types of sodas-. 2 of the 3 were watered down- Fountain was out of syrup. When our apps came we returned them and just switched them to mtn dew because we knew that tasted fine. Having no confidence that anyone would fix the issue. We were delivered our nachos with no plates, so we all just ate off the tray. Also no napkins that works well with nachos How about no silverware- ever throughout the meal. We ordered sandwiches but still, scooping up nachos, adding sour cream and jalapeño, a utensil would be nice. Food was mostly ok Hot dog bun was stale and very hard Mustard on the table had so much dry crusty mustard under the lid, I skipped it. It's OK at home when it's your own crust, not someone else's Again most of this was not our waitresses fault. we hardly had any attention and never got refills. Maybe they should have someone else running back and forth to refill all the alcoholics drinks and let the wait staff handle food, utensils, napkins, bringing the check and just checking in. Disappointed. The menu states HAND BREADED and fried chicken tenders. I can guarantee these were not hand breaded, most likely frozen from a distributor. Actually reminded me of a Tyson chicken tender you get in the freezer section of the grocery store. Don't say hand breaded if it truly is not. Nobody likes to be deceived. I also ordered the side salad which consisted of lettuce, lots of it and one piece each of a thin sliced tomato, onion and cucumber. I enjoyed my visit. The beer is cold and the people are friendly. The mixed drinks look to be poured very generously. The food is good and reasonably priced. The appetizers are very large. I would suggest starting with the half order of the Hob Tots. Crispy tater tots with breaded deep-fried cheese curds and then topped with gravy. Yummy. Their thin crust pizza is crispy. I ordered garlic parmesan wings and honey garlic wings. Both to be tossed in the sauce. When I got my order the honey garlic wings had barley a drizzle of any sauce on it and the parmesan garlic were bone dry. I do know parmesan garlic butter sauce tends to be a drier sauce but these had a sprinkle of parmesan on about 4 of my 18 wings. Without any sauce the breading on the wings is gross. It's like eating something wrapped in sandpaper. One of the wings had black meat throughout so I can only assume it was rotten. No one would eat them they were so horrible. And I tried calling them to see what happened, maybe a miscommunication. But the first time I called no one answered ok they are busy try again on a few, 2 rings sent to voicemail, again 3 rings sent to voicemail. Tried contacting them through their Facebook and ignored. Yelp considers 3 stars to be "A-OK" and 2 stars to be "Meh. I've experienced better." Truth be told, with those definitions, this was a 2-star experience, but I'm throwing in a bonus since Hobnobbers is so new and I think they're still getting their feet on the ground. I'll break my review into four parts: food, service, environment, promise. The food was so-so. My wife and I each had a burger; one child had the kid's pizza, and another had the chicken fingers. We ordered our burgers medium and they came pretty close to well-done. Having tater tots on the menu is a nice addition and those are what you'd expect. The fries were decent considering they're obviously frozen fries... frustrating, though, because it's not hard to make some killer homemade fries. That would've been a nice touch. All in all, the food was mediocre - nothing I couldn't get anywhere else and more expensive than better food at PJ's or MVP's just a couple miles up the road. Which is why I was hoping we'd score big on other factors. Service was fair. Could've been better. Could've been worse. A little more attentiveness could've helped. Not having to ask for silverware. Being served the kids' dessert rather than having to ask for it after the bill came... But all in all, this was average. Not much more to say here. Environment is solid. I really dug the environment at Mugzzie's that was in this spot previously. Loads of history all over the place. This is definitely different, but it's open, comfortable, has a nice buzz throughout. Not grungy or pretentious...but just about right. All in all, they've done well for the environment. However, it is big and it's pretty spread out. Which means if there aren't a bunch of people in here, the environment is going to feel pretty empty and pretty flat. I hope they can keep the place full so the vibe stays strong. The promise they offer is what I was perhaps most disappointed in (the food followed closely behind). Hobnobber's claims it's a "family friendly restaurant and sports bar". Okay, it's a sports bar, so any claim of "family friendly" needs to be taken lightly. I get that. But their Web site boasts a respectable kids menu, so we figured let's give it a shot. It's the little things that separate 2- and 3-star joints from the 4- and 5-s when you're going to claim "family friendly". Cups with lids for small kids. The attire your servers are wearing. Give the kids a menu to color on (though the little twisty toys were a hit with our kids). I'm not naive to realize this is still a bar and I'm not looking for Chuck-E-Cheese's. But there's nothing particularly family friendly about Hobnobbers that I'm not going to encounter at any other bar in town. Bottom line, I really wanted to love Hobnobbers. I'm a firm believer that this community could use some more solid dining establishments that are locally-owned and aren't a franchise. Yet if you're going to be local, you've got to serve better then I can get out of a franchise. Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday...all serve frozen food. Please do us a favor and make stuff from scratch. Let the service set you apart that makes me feel like I can't wait to get back. And if you're going to make a claim, make it matter. I'll probably swing in again in a few months when things are (hopefully) a bit more established. But I've got to be honest in saying that nothing blew me away here that I couldn't get equal or better elsewhere in town. read more

My wife and I went there last Friday night. The place was packed but we were able to quickly get some seats at the bar. I was impressed with the beer selection as I was sorta of expecting the typical Bud, Miller, Coors but there were quite a few craft beer choices like Dogfish Head and Goose Island. Super impressed with the new Hobnobbers. The bar is a nice, large horseshoe shape, large HD tv's absolutely everywhere with a great, rustic decor. It is a bar but still family-friendly. And the food is really, really good. We stopped in last weekend & then went back for takeout this week. Quick recap on what we've had so far: *Pizza* :: We tried the thin crust with a few toppings. Crust is crispy, great sauce (not too spicy, not too sweet) and tons of cheese. Our new go-to local pizza spot *Tater tots* :: FTW. These are amazing with the cheese sauce & bacon (C'mon.. if we're ordering tots, we're not exactly counting calories anyway, right?) *Beer nuggets* :: We tried the garlic, which were good. Heard cinnamon & funnel cake are ridiculous *Italian beef* :: Super impressed. Lots of thick slices of mozzarella melted on top, soft, toasted roll, and juicy beef. Definitely my new favorite place to get Italian beefs *Chicken wrap* :: Good. (Daughter noted there almost was too much chicken--which is unheard of most places--but it almost made it a little dry. Typical sports bar with lots of TVs. The place is family friendly. We saw quite a few younger kids eating with their parents. You must try the garlic Parmesan beer nuggets. This is an old review, so...don't try and jump on me for being late. So, the food there was good. My date and I ordered the sampler platter and, it was the biggest portions I've seen(that's not all that bad). My meal(the Philly) was decent. The au jus was a nice amount of salty and, had some decent spices to it. The fries were good. Now, the negative. The server(I honestly forgot her name) seemed way more attentive to a table of 10, which I assumed are either regulars, or...just friends of everyone near by because almost everyone that walked in stopped at their table. This is a known Packers bar, but as a Bears fan I never felt more at home, with a great beer selections and friendly staff this is a great place to watch a bears/packers game. I had lots of fun bantering back and forth with the packers fans and they made me feel like I belonged there. Ordered two chicken wraps with loaded sides, one fries and one tots, for dinner tonight. First our order had the incorrect wrap and both sides were plain. Then we called and they quickly offered to replace our meal and send it free delivery. It arrived about 25 minutes later, good timing, however it was made incorrect again. When I'm spending $28 for two chicken wraps I would really hope it would be easy to remember cheese and bacon on the sides but two back to back orders were incorrect. read more

I called them and they told me they will call back. They never did . So I called again and emailed them to get my money back... they won't call me back or email me back. Very rude service. Excellent addition to the area. We ate their twice this past week. Food was excellent. Great pizza and good burger. Nice atmosphere with plenty of open space. Excellent location for watching sporting events or for family pub style dining. While service was excellent on Monday, it was equally poor tonight. I'll chalk the inconsistency up to a new business. Sat at the bar both nights. The (new) bartender spent all but 5 minutes tonight talking to two people so she never took my order, served a beer, or realized a refill was needed for more almost 15 minutes.
