They haven't quite achieved dive bar status, but with a little time and a lot more energy, they might get there. They get four stars from me. I walked into this town a stranger, but left knowing a fair cross-section of its dynamics and characters, simply by spending an hour sitting at this bar. I'm totally serious - I got several perspectives from several interesting characters. I love that you never know exactly what you will get in this bar, but you can expect various discussions about politics, weather, sports, and more.
