I've had the strawberry and the orange and vanilla twist, both of which were amazing! They recently created a durian flavor, which I know is a deeply acquired taste, but it is my dad's favorite fruit. He tries it every time it's an option anywhere. When I saw that it could be made as an ice cream cake, I knew it was the perfect birthday gift for him. When I called to see if they would have a last minute cake available, Michelle not only remembered me from the last time I was here, but she had a durian cake that happened to be available and quickly got it ready that same evening, topping it with their signature extra scoops on cones, choosing black sesame and taro to compliment it. My dad became a little boy and had multiple slices of cake, saying it was the best durian ice cream he's ever had! Today was a wonderful sunny hot day, perfect for ice cream and this shop delivered the flavor quality and cooling sensation I was looking for! I'm so happy to see homemade asian flavors in a store rather than just going to the supermarket frozen section. The store had many benches and was very clean! This is the spot for great ice cream for the Asian palette. My favorite flavors include Thai tea, green tea, taro. Yet to try the rest of their flavors will update next time I am able to try others. It is less sweet than the others but wished it is lesser sweet but still very good. Will be coming often when the temps gets warmer. In a densely packed frozen desserts scene in Edison, this place is our new go-to after-dinner spot because they focus on perfecting their product, and the results show it: their ice cream is decadent and thick yet airy and fluffy in consistency, distinguished by their "不太甜" or "not too sweet" flavor which is, perhaps ironically, among the highest compliments Asians (my mom) will mete out when praising desserts. Why go to a chain ice-cream shop when right here in Edison we have home-made, family-owned ice cream shop. We tried almost all their flavors, could not choose, and ended up buying 5 pints.
