This place is dangerous for my health! The fact that it's only few minutes drive from home, I can see myself coming here often. It's located on the 1st floor of the mall, near Macy's and Rain Forest Cafe. It's a small store front. You place your order and yes, there's pictures so you kinda know what the final order may look like before you place your order. An order cost $7.99 but you do get about 8 rolls of ice cream and unlimited toppings and the portion size can be shared for two. Note: I said it can be shared but not that anyone would want to after one bite. The cool part is you get to see them make your roll and how the ice cream went from liquid form to actually frozen ice cream roll. The staff is also very nice! They ask you what toppings you'd like and yes, you can take your time to decide. They don't rush you and they don't judge you either, haha. It seems to be a very popular place. I came on a Friday evening and was the third and I thought last customer ordering on the line. I ordered and paid and before I know literally a bus stop came by. There's about 20 people making a line afterwards. The wait was a bit long because there were many orders to make. There's only two staff and one of them was ringing up orders at the cashiers. I hope they have more employees for the weekend and summertime. This place can be a really big hit for mall goers. Located inside menlo park mall right around the corner from Macy's. It's pretty cool to watch liquid turn frozen in a matter of seconds. I wish the workers will be more interactive with patrons and explain to them what they are doing. The ice cream was good! Had the vanilla with marshmallows on top. Very cool place! They make the ice cream right in front of you. You see it start out as a liquid and watch it as it goes through the freezing stages. The last step is when the ice cream hardens more/freezes, after they have flattened it, they roll it into thin sheets. I had the banana Nutella flavor with toppings: chocolate chips and Pocky sticks (small chocolate covered crackers in the shape of sticks). We also ordered the Oreo flavor with toppings: whipped cream and chocolate syrup. The price is a little more than your average ice cream in a cup, but they do give you a large serving plus they make each order by hand. You have to wait a little too, but again, it's because they are making each order fresh, from scratch. Very cool. My son has a nut allergy, and they took care to wash all the tools they used before making his order. He was able to enjoy everything they made for him. Great job! They also have shaved ice items on their menu, that I would like to try next time. They have only been open for 3 weeks. Gotta love this place, been here for a least 2 or 3 times. The staffs are friendly, great service, love to watch how they make the ice cream rolls and loves their toppings(especially the marshmallow part). Instead of wasting ur time going to NYC, why don't chu go to Menlo Park Mall instead for those who lives in NJ. I heard they might have these types of Ice Cream Rolls place in a different locations in NJ. I think that pretty much it to say but I'll come back. read more

I was very happy to come across this in Menlo. Now I don't have to go to NYC to get rolled ice cream! When we went, there were only two employees and no line. They only have a few items on their menu, but very good choices. They have either rolled ice cream or shave ice cream. I got the strawberry and graham cracker rolled ice cream and my boyfriend got the s'mores rolled ice cream. I paid $16.99 for those two ice creams. A little pricey, but at least the toppings are included; we got to choose as many toppings as we wanted. This is a fairly new place, so you can tell they're still trying to get everything together. Overall, our experience was a positive one. The employees are very polite, the prices are decent, and the end result was delicious! We will definitely be back to try the other flavors! read more

Super good and a cool way to eat ice cream. You can watch them rolling the ice cream and unlimited toppings. I ordered Oreo flavor and added Nutella. It came out to $8 and you get a full cup of ice cream. I would say def shareable for two. I love Nutella and for it to be a topping on this was great! Found this place by accident as I was leaving the Rain Forest Cafe, sounded interesting so we decided to try it. The servers were so nice and watching the rolled ice cream was really cool. I love love love the concept of this place! It's a small hole in the wall storefront that would easily be missed because of its location (near Rainforest Café). I admittedly had no idea this was here because I rarely use the main entrance located near to it. But anyways (sorry for the sidetrack) the ice cream is so good! It was really quiet on a week night but that didn't stop my determination. I was in the mood for some ice cream and Yelp came to the rescue. The menu is not that extensive, however they have options for even the pickiest of people. I settled for the oreo rolled ice cream, and really glad I did. The way it was made was oddly satisfying to watch...if only I could make it like that at home. I was amazed at how one oreo and a bit of cream made so much of ice cream. After it's made you get your choice of toppings ranging from gummy bears to sprinkles, whipped cream and choices of syrup. So feel free my fellow Yelpers to be extra...no one's judging! ;) The finished product looks almost too good to eat (enter Snapchatters). As for taste...I thought it tasted better than ice cream mainly because the cream it's made with taste much more richer than the regular store bought. I enjoyed my experience here and I can't wait to go back. I hope to see more options in the coming months.
