While visiting NH we were hungry and wanted a taste of NH. After reading many reviews about restaurants around the surrounding are we checked out Sweet Chix. Most of the reviews were very good so we decided to give it a try. We ordered online and immediately received a text that I order was being made. With receiving a text we assume that we would get another text when it was ready but sadly we did not. After an hour, I decided to give them a call and they told me that our order had been ready for 45 minutes. So just know that when you do make the order online don't wait for a text to pick up. We only had to heat it for just a few seconds before diving in. We ordered the whole chicken and the tenders along with a side of mashed potatoes and hot chips. The chicken was very tasty and had a very nice battered crust. The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside as well as the classic chicken that we ordered. We are from the south and are accustomed to eating chicken such as Popeyes and some of the soul food locals. This chicken was pretty good, but I would still prefer Popeyes for the flavor. The chicken was not greasy, but of course hand the same amount of greasiness that you would expect for fried chicken. It reminded me of what your grandmother would cook on a Sunday after church. mashed potatoes pretty darn good. They had the skin on them and the right amount of stiffness to pick them up with a fork and very flavorful. I ordered a side of the hot chips. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of those as they had no salt but I had a lot a fire to them. They tasted it like homemade potato chips with no stinginess of smoked paprika and cayenne....adding a touch of salt would have made them perfect. I am always hesitant to get homemade chips because they seem to lack the crunch that you're expecting. But They were crunchy, not greasy, and very flavorful. After eating a few of them you get used to the heat and they're not so overbearing with heat as the first bite. This place is definitely worth a try. You will not be disappointed if you're looking for southern fried chicken. The fry pies are a home run! read more

The sandwiches and whole chicken pieces are excellent. We have been less impressed with the tenders. Sides are fine. One issue right now, and probably a Yelp issue, the menu is way out of date. The prices on the Yelp menu are about 30% lower than the actual menu. I recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. read more

I think our expectations were too high. We had heard from several people how great this chicken was when they were in Greenland. Every time we have passed the Hampton spot we've said we neeeeed to try it. Today we did. Cashier was nice. A bit hip for us. We took our time reading the menu. Nothing to rave about except it wasn't just white meat, which we were glad for. Sauces were horrible. Gravy was totally gross. Lavender honey was honey with lavender flowers on it. It was fine. Really good fried Chicken. It was super moist and not greasy. I got the half a chicken the Nashville Hot way. It was good, but not what I expected. The chicken had some spice rub on the the chicken after it was fried the flavor was good but I was expecting it to be in the batter. But maybe that it is the authentic way of doing it I don't know. Regular fried chicken was amazing. Brined in sweet tea and lavender results in both incredibly tender and juicy meat. It has a gentle sweetness that is nice. Would highly recommend their regular which is cooked to order. The Nashville wasn't to our liking. Lacked more oil in it's take of Nashville Hot, and they over dusted it t the end. The result was dragging powders off the bird with our teeth. We didn't like the texture and seemed to heavy with paprika. Sides were tasty but cold at noon time. Heat your sides properly and consider some tweaks on your Nashville Hot. Make it the traditional way or stick to your amazing regular sweet tea brined ride chicken. read more

It NEVER dries out under a heat lamp (we don't even have one of those!) It is brined overnight in sweet tea, and then cooked to order with our lavender/thyme seasoned flour) ....And only moments after I ordered I was served a shoe leather dry piece of chicken on a bun. This was NOT cooked to order. The bread and butter pickles and pickled red onion were two tiny pickle wedges with literally 2 strings of onion.
