The signs on the street to get there were good but I couldn't make it out except for an open garage. I inquired about the golf carts and the guy was super rude. Super friendly and so easy to deal with! The prices were very fair and customer service was amazing. He made sure to ask us where we parked because he had designated areas for parking, which in Santa Barbara is hard to find! We rented the scooters and they were in great working condition and stayed fully charged for our entire 2 hrs with no issues, he even gave us a free extra 20 minutes!! Will be going back for sure! Fun, fun, fun! I've always been curious about riding an electric scooter, but never imagined that I would actually do it. Thank you Valerie D. for bringing out my inner-child and setting up this adventure. This place is located in the alley on Helena Ave across from the beach. Look for the light house; which is Blue Water Grill and you will find it down the street. There is limited street parking, but just down the road there is a public parking lot. We checked in, and I got a brief run down of how the scooter worked since I've never been on one. I must admit I was kind of nervous, but once we did a test run I was good to go! The scooter is hand-operated with each handlebar including a break for stop and the other for start. I didn't realize how much power it had until I pressed the handlebar. It took me a few minutes getting used to the amount of pressure to apply to stop and go. I recommend applying pressure with ease on both handles and not completely hitting the lever. This will prevent you from any accidents. Overall, a fun experience and I would totally do it again! read more

I am one of the strongest guys in Santa Barbara, and also one of the heaviest. As you might imagine, I was a little nervous to step onto a Sweep scooter, unsure if it would be able to handle my substantial frame. Happy to report the scooter held and felt sturdy enough for at least 2 or 3 of me. Anyway, back to the grind in the gym. Hitting the bench press hard today. They have more than 2 hours of battery life, and They get you up the steepest of hills slowly but surely. I think you can get 10-12 miles in distance before having to turn back around towards the location. I'm not sure what happens to the scooter if you get further than 12 miles (maybe it shuts down till you get back closer????). Anyway, Everyone should do this. Just got done using a Sweep golf cart and had to give them some kudos right away. I've never felt compelled to go out of my way to amp anyone up on yelp before but this was one of the best experiences I've had in SB in a long time I was late to my high school crush's pool party and my car wasn't starting and I was freaking out cause I needed to secure that "bag" if you will. Finally a great place in Santa Barbara for ELECTRIC SCOOTER REPAIR SERVICES. I was looking everywhere for someone to fix my NAMI Burn E2 Max E Scooter which got a rear flat tire recently that needed repair. I decided to upgrade my stock tires to the more premium PMT tires but needed someone to help me with this replacement as they are tubeless tires and can be quite tricky to put on. Thankfully, I called Sweep to see if they could do the job. A man named Rich answered and said he has a great mechanic - Dario - who could do the job. I brought my scooter in that day and Dario did the job within that day and that evening I was back riding on my NAMI scooter with sweet new PMT tires that felt great to ride on. Dario called me and let me know that he in addition to replacing my tires inspected my scooter and let me know it needed new brake pads and some other tweaks which I knew beforehand I needed to do and appreciated that he took the extra time to check over my scooter and remind me to get it back in tip top shape. I will be using Dario and Sweep again for any future E scooter repairs. read more

Unreliable, dishonest, and rude. I reserved and paid in full ten weeks in advance to rent a golf cart and have it delivered to our house for the party the night before our daughter's wedding. When it did not arrive at 3pm, as arranged, I called and was assured that it would arrive in 20 minutes. It never did, despite numerous calls that went straight to voice mail and a full mailbox. When we went to the office on Monday, we had to wake the guy up. He never took his feet off the desk and had no explanation, but assured us that he had initiated the refund request and showed us a screen which appeared to do so. But after seven business days and more phone calls there was no actual refund. We then filed a dispute with our credit card company which immediately issued the credit. The guys here are beyond cool. The rides are definitely well maintained and very speedy! Did I say cheap? Full day on a city BCycle was close to 100$ for EACH rider. TWO E-Bikes for all of Sunday cost me about half of that! Also, like I said, the guys are real cool. They even offered to drop off and pick up from our hotel! Only issue I had was finding the place.
