Super awesome people, I booked my bike a few weeks in advance for the tri race, the one i booked was a bit big. So they swapped it with a smaller size, good bikes, good costumer service and friendly staff. 10/10 would rent from here again.

My son and I had an amazing bicycle tour of Santa Barbara with Andrei - we had a blast riding from the coastline up through the foothills of Montecito and down through the Obern trail in Santa Barbara. The bikes they outfitted us with (Specialized Roubaix Comp Di2) were top notch and Andrei was a super-knowledgeable and friendly guide. Would definitely recommend them for any bike tours in and around Santa Barbara!

We decided to take an impromptu day trip to Santa Barbara with the kids for our anniversary this year. Found this bike rental business on Yelp and decided to take our chances on a last minute rental. We lucked out even though we got there around noon. They didn't have anymore electric bikes but they had beach cruisers available. Beggars can't be choosers so we took it. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect! We rode up and down the beach for a few hours. Stopped for a bite to eat and enjoy the picturesque views along the way. They also were so nice about us coming back a little later than anticipated. Their prices are very affordable. It's $20 an hour for the regular bikes. They provide you with helmets and locks as well. Definitely recommend renting from them if you're in the area!

Excellent Bike & Beverage Tour with exceptional tour guide. Wife and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.

Highly recommend the low tide e bike ride! So much fun. Joshua took us out on a beautiful afternoon and we rode north to the Pier and then south all the way to Summerland. I cannot recommend this more strongly. If you are looking for something really fun to do in SB, call these people. Fast, friendly, professional and great vibes as well. Went back today and rented a bike for a killer three hour ride up to UCSB and back. Bike was in perfect condition and staff was very professional. I'll be back!

Fantastic electric bike tour to check out beautiful Santa Barbara. Our tour guide, Andre, was knowledgable and introduced us to many historical landmarks. Highly recommended.

One of the highlights of our trip! We had the amazing Colin as our tour guide and opted for the private tour. It's a worthwhile upgrade as the tour becomes whatever you want it to be. You can let them know if you are more interested in landmarks, in places to eat, in nature, etc. and they will tailor it to what you want because everyone who works here truly loves this city. Colin was able to take us to see a smattering of everything since we didn't really have any particular must-sees so it really ended up like having a friend taking us around the city and showing us all the cool spots and routes that only a local who grew up in the city would know about. He gave us some great recommendations and was overall super friendly, funny, interesting, and open to conversation (although did leave room for silence as well as we peacefully rode along the coastline). We also felt very safe riding around the city, even in the rain, as he always made safety our priority and would also check on us throughout the 2 hours. I would definitely come back and do another bike ride here wkthy them, especially on their well-maintained ebikes which made riding easy and not tiring, which were great for someone like me who doesn't ride very often (probably the last time I rode a bike was four years ago!) Hoping to come when they have some new food tours with Colin! There was street parking in this warehouse-y like area.

    Ready, set, go!

Just finished an absolutely wonderful private E-bike tour of Santa Barbara area with Andrei. He was fun, knowledgeable, and a great guide with lots of stories, local hot spots and recommendations for future stops. We loved his humor and ability to share his time with us. For sure a highly recommended "must do"! Thank you for a wonderful day, aloha from Pam (Hawaii) and Sharon (Colorado)

    * This is a review during COVID season! * This past Veterans Day holiday (last Wednesday), my boyfriend and I came up to Santa Barbara hoping to have a great time - including riding bikes along the coastline! I did a *lot* of research about where to rent bikes in SB in anticipation, and we settled on CalCoast Adventures! --- The short version of my review would be: Smooth, safe and quick rental process + great sanitization + fantastic customer service + great competitive prices compared to the other bike rentals in SB = I'd highly recommend this rental place to any of my personal friends who are looking to bike in SB! --- The long review: I wrote a lot in this review, so I'll try to keep it relatively concise and bullet-point my thoughts below. * The rental process: The whole process was fantastic and really smooth! We came sometime around 11 AM and started around 11:30. When we arrived to rent the bikes, there is space to park in their lot - so you can just pull in with your car. You can see their outdoor counter right below their sign as soon as you pull into the parking lot. At the counter, they have a safe rental process where you start by scanning a QR code. When you check out the bikes, you sign a waiver form. The nitty gritty details of the rental process I don't know that well, as my boyfriend handled the check out process while I was getting our things ready- but it seemed really smooth and straightforward to me, and he had no problems or complaints! * Sanitation/cleanliness: The rental process is safe and hands-free for both checkout/in. Everyone's wearing masks (and we wore ours also!). You start renting by first scanning a QR code, and the only contact you really do is using their pen to sign the waiver form (and you can just sanitize your hands afterward, or bring your own writing utensil). We were told that our bikes were sanitized beforehand! I think the best point regarding cleanliness that I observed was that when we later finished returning the bikes, from our car we could see them immediately starting to spray their bikes (with disinfectant, I'm reasonably assuming) and wipe them down thoroughly. To see it happen before our eyes personally gave me great peace of mind, because they seemed to really be on top of it and care about sanitation! * Customer service: Other than their on-point sanitation, this was the highlight in my opinion. We were helped by Elias in renting out the bikes, and his friend when returning our bikes (we didn't catch your name - sorry! But you were great as well!). Both guys were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process, answered all our questions, and Elias also gave us recommendations on where to bike (based on his experience giving bike tours for groups that come in)! We went to a roundabout based on Elias' recommendation and the view was beautiful! I don't think other rental places would necessarily give you info on where to go if they're using it for their tour guides -- wouldn't it be more beneficial for them if they kept the info for their customers who pay more $$ to tour? The fact that Elias gave the recommendations based on his own tour guide experience told us otherwise, and we had a really great time! Also - they proactively lowered my bike seat and being on the shorter side, I was grateful that they took thought to that before we started riding! They explained all the parts of the bike, how to use them and the locks, etc. I definitely felt mentally prepared to ride after their quick + thorough explanation, which helps my peace of mind! * The moolah. $ Personally, my boyfriend and I ultimately decided to ride their electric bikes for 2 hours (which I highly recommend - the electric bikes made our time more about fun and less about exercise! And the 2 hours was the perfect amount of time to ride up to Oceanside Park, the college roundabout for 10ish min, restroom break, and back to the rental place.) They have the best prices here, and since I did the research on bike rentals already, I figured I'd share the stats with you all. I attached it as a photo to my review! I narrowed the bike rentals in SB down to 3 places that seemed legit, safe, and $ budget friendly - using Yelp reviews, TripAdvisor reviews, and the SB visitor website. There are more options available for all of these places, but I was mainly looking at one-day rentals for regular cruiser bikes, electric bikes, and possibly tandem (2 person/1 vehicle) bikes. Some places have more discounts available for you if you're planning to rent bikes from their location for 2+ days.

Santa Barbara Trolley Tour (Booked via Viator.com)…read more We booked this tour through Viator for $28 per person (non-refundable), and I have to say -- it's an affordable, worthwhile way to see Santa Barbara and Montecito if you're short on time. The tour runs about an hour and a half, narrated the whole way through. Our guide, Rusty, was excellent -- knowledgeable, engaging, and easy to listen to. He mixed history with fun local details, pointing out landmarks, residents, and even a few celebrity homes. His energy kept the ride interesting from start to finish. Pro tip: Seating is a bit of a luck-of-the-draw situation. There are about four or five seats where the window is completely down -- perfect for pictures. Otherwise, most windows stay up and only open a crack for air. If photos are important to you, get in line early so you can grab those open-window spots. It's two people per bench. The rest stop was at the historic Santa Barbara Mission. We had about 15 minutes to use the restrooms, pop into the gift shop, and take pictures of the Mission's beautiful exterior. (The church wasn't open during our visit, but it often is, so worth checking next time.) Along the way, Rusty also pointed out some things I never would've noticed -- like enormous fig trees scattered around town, a fossil of a blue whale, and even a giraffe peeking its head out near the zoo! The Spanish-style architecture throughout Santa Barbara was another highlight, and being able to see so much in a short span of time made this tour feel really efficient. Meeting & Drop-off Spot: The Garden Street Visitor Center (close to the Carousel House). For brand-new visitors or anyone with limited time, this is a perfect introduction to Santa Barbara. Big kudos to Rusty for making it such an engaging ride.

I would have loved to have options of some kind, we were served whatever meat they wanted to serve. These tacos were not authentic and definitely were not filling, we all were starving when we left. I recently booked for 3 couples, a party of 6 for next weekend Feb 16th for belated V-day celebration. But the other 2 couples couldn't make it so I called today to update the party size to 2 people. Because we were only 2 people, we were told that they couldn't guarantee us a spot since it's not profitable for them to host a tour with only 2 people. He said he'll put me on a list, so if other people book, the tour will continue, if not, tour will be cancelled. I was a little surprised because I had received an e-mail from them that says buy a valentine special for a party of 2 (picture attached). I think it would've been nice to put a note that tours do not run if there is fewer than 4, nice to have but I didn't rate them a 4 instead of 5 star for this since I get it, a business needs to run on a profit. I decided to cancel and explore other options. When I called another tour, they explained that it was their slow season, also mentioned that there's a minimum number of people for them to be profitable, but provided me other options like instead of semi-tour, maybe first book a private tour, which is more expensive, but they'll be happy to lower the price if other people sign up too, or if I'm flexible, there's other days if I wanted the semi-tour. This was where I saw the difference between a 4-star vs 5-star service. And so to my previous statement, if you're able to book cloud climbers, you're going to have a good time. But what sets a 4-star from 5-star was this recent booking experience. 4-star was them politely letting me know they can't service two people. 5-star is letting me know, explaining why, and seeing if there's other options that might work.

My two brothers and I spent the long Thanksgiving weekend in Solvang and decided to end our trip…read morewith an ATV tour in the Santa Barbara mountains before heading back to L.A. Best decision ever! Although getting to the meeting point was a bit scary as we drove 15 mph through winding roads next to steep cliffs, the views were nice and the ATV experience was totally worth it! We gave ourselves plenty of time to get lost and it took us about 1.5 hours to get to the checkpoint. Luckily Google Maps was on the entire time and we even had an hour to kill on top of the mountain before our 12:30pm appointment. (Also had screenshots of the directions in case we lost service). Upon arrival, we met with the two girls who were wearing face masks and face shields so we felt safe. They had all the sanitizing stuff. They checked us all in, gave us each a mesh covering for our head, pairs of gloves, goggles and helmets. They offered different insurance plans (just like a rental car company), each ranging in price. Then, they walked us over to the ATVs where Jorge was our tour guide. He asked us if we've ever rode before and taught us how to use the automatic ATVs and made us feel comfortable and safe. (Throttle was on the right handle bar and brakes on the left. Second brake was a foot pedal). We drove on wide and narrow trails, over some fun rocky areas, kicking up lots of dust, and he took photos of us the entire time. This was a great family bonding experience and we're all still talking about how fun it was and want to do it again. Know Before You Go: It gets dusty so wear clothes and closed toe shoes that you're ok getting dirty. Give yourself plenty of time to drive to the location because the last thing you want to do is rush through the scary mountain roads. 10/10 would definitely do this again!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY -- TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- Location in Tracy- Northern CA…read more We booked a mountain ATV ride with Enjoy the Mountain ATV in July 2026, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The first red flag was that the company did not provide a phone number, making it difficult to get help or clarification when we needed it. We followed their directions exactly and arrived 30 minutes early. We parked in the designated lot as instructed by the person at the gate, but our guide never came to meet us. We eventually had to drive into the park ourselves and locate the guide, who was parked on the side of the road. There was no clear signage identifying the company or where customers were supposed to check in. Once we finally found the guide, the intake process took approximately 40 minutes. After all of that, we paid approximately $700 for a ride that lasted only about 20 minutes. We were also promised pictures from the experience, but no pictures were ever provided. What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterward. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor communication, unclear instructions, lack of signage, and failure to provide what was promised, the company provided little to no accountability. For the amount of money we spent, this was absolutely not the experience we expected. Poor communication, poor organization, inadequate customer service, and failure to deliver what was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to consider other ATV companies before booking.
