Great experience. We were a couple minutes late and they were really nice about it. It was hard for…read moreus to get down to the boat as my dad has a walker, so we had to figure that out. Not their fault at all, just harbor logistics However, it all worked out perfectly. The boat only holds six, but it holds six plus the driver more than comfortably. There was room for our bags, some food, my dads walker and tons of leg room. This business owns three boats including Lil Toot and Whisper. We went on Whisper the elctric boat. We went around the harbor and had a nice and smooth drive, great weather, and the driver was very patient and friendly with my 88-year-old dad. It was an hour tour, and he let my daughter play her spotify playlist and we paid about $190 through a 3rd party company. I would definitely recommend them!

Cheap, fun, and easy - Lil' toot is a fun way to get across from the harbor to the Stearns wharf (…read moreor vice versa) and get a taste of being out on the water with minimal time or monetary commitment. The views are nice and it is a short and slow ride through the harbor. The captain and first mate are friendly and knowledgeable about the many delicious restaurants and businesses in the area. I had a blast! After we exited at the wharf, we walked back and it wasn't bad. We parked in the Harbor and used paid parking ($3.50/ car)bc all the 90 min free spots were taken. Maybe for an earlier departure you could grab a better spot.

I found this tour online. It's called Land Shark Tour. They still had reservations available, so I booked it. The tickets were $45 each adult plus a $10 Convenience (Service) Fee. TIP: To assure a seat on a specific tour, book online. If you want to take your chances, you can wait as standby and will need to pay using CASH. The meetup spot is on E. Cabrillo Blvd., just West of Stearns Wharf.Look for a sign indicating where we meet up for the tour. There are no actual reserved seats. You choose as you board. People with reservations are boarded first followed by the standby people. I asked Captain Mike which side was the better one for viewing and was told, "The inside". LOL Now that I've taken the tour, I would say the driver's side is slightly better. My most favorite part of the tour was when the road vehicle turned into a watercraft! We went by the seals & birds on the dock and buoy. We saw Lil Toot taxiing passengers across the way. I might take that next time. It also provides a narrated tour. Our captain got us around without a hitch. The tour guide was the star of the show, she was so awesome! Maddy is very knowledgeable about the area and shared about the history. She also has a great delivery of fun facts! Her voice is used for various promotion bits for Santa Barbara. At the end of the tour, she played "Happy Birthday" on her trombone! Nicely talented! When in Santa Barbara, take this tour! Just do it!!

You have the waterfront and beach. Right when you drive in, there's parking on both side. The lot out front is a paid lot which I believe is 3.00 per hours. If you continue to drive through, there's a lot there that's free I believe. It's a hit or miss in that one as it tends to get utilized first. Along the waterfront are some restaurants which I highly do recommend Brophy's Bro and the Santa Barbara Fish Market. If you love seafood, this is your place. Pretty much everything is near each other so you don't have to walk far. Liquor store, realtor, public restrooms, shop, and a few other businesses. But if you continue walking on the path along the water, it leads you out to the walkway and jetty. It's a beautiful strip so it's definitely worth checking out. At the end of the path, you're literally right across the pier. A small beach depending on the time with the tide. Regardless if you're there for the beach, harbor, a meal or just taking it in. This place is quite nice. Nothing crazy but a nice views of boats and the waterfront. The path along the front will lead you to and from downtown. If you like a nice walk, that'll be pretty or a nice bike ride. Regardless where you're at, it's a nice place to just take it in.

Many boats, signs with some history on the local history/fishing, and a few small business nearby if you want to enjoy a meal out too. We called to confirm the credit was still being honored, they were very accommodating. We reserved a space for 2 on a Wednesday for the Sunset Catamaran Sailing Cruise at 6:00PM. There's a meeting spot at the SB Sailing office at the SB Habor. Paid parking is available. We were able to walk from our hotel to the meeting location. Our sail was practically a private sail. There were about maybe the most 14 people, which was so nice. The crew was a Captain and his Assistant, both were very nice Unfortunate Mother Nature did not provide any wind that evening so the Captain had to use engine power that whole evening (it was a very tame ride). The sunset was beautiful glad we did it and it wasn't crowded. I think it worth doing once. Helpful hints: We went May 6th, I wore pants and a long sleeve shirt plus wore a light weight padded jacket and I was fine. It was cold and quit a few of the other passenger were freezing. The sail boat does supply blankets and 2 restroom and drinks and snacks purchase.
