Excellent! I visited this location when it was under different ownership a long time ago and have wanted to try the new version for quite a while. Went for the first time this morning and I'm SO full. Fat and happy. I had a breakfast burrito (no meat) with a side of Cajun home fries. It's served with homemade salsa and there's a choice between mild and hot. I went all in with hot and the salsa was perfect. Sour cream is included as well. Delicious and gigantic...even without the meat (which was my choice...it normally comes with meat inside that giant pocket of breakfast goodness). It seems like there were a dozen eggs and pounds of cheese (menu said pepper jack but this cheese seemed milder) in there....accompanied by lightly grilled onions. The home fries were delicious and just spicy enough for the first meal of the day. I usually like very well done potatoes, but these were cooked just right...a few crunchy bites here and there with the soft, spiced red potatoes taking over for texture. Not greasy, either. Score. Rave reviews on the eggs Benedict. I tasted the sauce....VERY rich...and again....holy generous portion, batman. Coffee is good and strong. Service is fast and friendly. The decor is "modern-throwback-diner" and the whole place is super clean. Lots of regulars poured in and the folks that work there quickly hustled over with the drinks that those regulars wanted (before ordering)...and some conversation, of course. The breakfast and lunch menus are extensive and have something for everyone. Check the specials board...today they had chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes as one of the options....I almost went there.... but decided on protein instead of diabetes. Next time. Prices are beyond reasonable. Only want a piece of french toast? $3. My gigantic burrito was about $8. Coffee is $2.50 with free refills. So glad I finally made it here; I'll definitely be back.

Love the new space - much more comfortable than the old Eli's space. The food is very real - housemade corned beef hash with homemade corned beef. Individually made pancakes. Eric. Some are executed better than others. The burrito was amazing with fluffy cheesy eggs. The corned beef hash was a bit dried out.

Cute place- friendly staff. We tried the breakfast burrito very heavy so bring your appetite. Overall flavor average. Corn beef hash was hearty with big chinks of potatoes and beef. Pancakes were huge!!

We love this place, moving and getting bigger was not good for this place, waiting 45 minutes for eggs is a joke

The breakfast food is incredible, typically by Tyler-- a great cook and Chef. The breakfast burrito is out of this world. (As for it Tyler's way!) the coffee and lattes are truly very high-quality, but not overly pretentious. And if you know, then you know, when a coffee shop does it up too much and their prices are astronomical. That is not this place, they balance it perfectly by having good quality beans, roasted perfectly good quality, food, and breakfast items that makes starting your day such a treat by coming here. And lastly, the kickstart name comes from the owner's being motorcycle enthusiasts. The inside decor has a really cool and funky vibe to it with really awesome artwork and even a motorcycle inside. If you're looking for coffee, shops, and decent breakfast, do not hesitate to stop here!

Unfortunately, I can't speak to their food, but I do hope to return and try some soon. The motorcycle themed cafe is beautifully decorated and creates a space that you can comfortably work in or hang out with friends and family. It's warm, welcoming and inviting. I tried their Cinnamon Mocha Latte with almond milk and it was perfection in a cup. The staff is also super friendly and welcoming, and happy to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend Kickstart Cafe!

But if I lived in Saratoga Springs, UG seems like a worthy successor. I can't comment on their vast bagel stash - poutine and fried chicken is enough for the day - or their beverages beyond the enjoyable caramel vanilla coffee. But I can praise the infrastructure. The line looked intimidating but they kept it moving. Since my biggest gripe for non-Starbucks purveyors is the lack of a condiment bar I was impressed by the options here like simple syrup and almond and oat milk.

Where things are frustrating is (1) the pricing for gluten free options (2) lack of gluten free options. Patrons have to get creative to accommodate a low-glycemic index diet or a gluten free diet. Almost every single soup has gluten now a days. There was a time when soups were the only gluten free option. They've raised the price of a side of grilled chicken to $8.00, which is insane for 3 oz of chicken. That equates to roughly $32 a lb for chicken. The menu says $3.15 to "add chicken" to a salad, so I'm not entirely sure what the big deal of adding it to a bowl of soup is any different? I'm paying $6.99 for a soup and a salad is $7.25. I'm happy to pick out the pasta in the soups, but to not add chicken for $3.15 as if it were a salad is a line that is frustrating. Not a fan of the salads due to the diningware they elect to put them in. The bowls are wabbly and are often filled to the gill, so people like myself who cut their salad have difficulty enjoying their salad as it falls on the table more than staying in the bowl. Giving an honest review in hopes that ownership will take this into consideration. Finding myself coming here less as it gives me anxiety coming and trying to think of what I can actually eat.

It's a seat yourself, order at the bar kind of place, which honestly worked perfectly and kept things moving without feeling rushed. We took full advantage of happy hour and ordered the BBQ chips with caramelized onion dip, Detroit pepperoni pizza, shrimp, three sliders, a side of fries, plus a beer and a margarita. And let me just say this was one of those orders where everything hits. The shrimp were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Detroit pizza had a standout crust that alone is worth coming back for. Even the fries held their own, which is saying something. The prices for happy hour are almost too good for how good the food is, and nothing felt like a "small plate" afterthought. Every dish came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. Even without traditional table service, the bartender was incredibly attentive and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We never once felt like we were missing anything. Whitman's is the kind of place you stumble into once and immediately add to your regular rotation. Great food, great value, great energy. We'll definitely be back.

The music, all the art on the walls and overall vibe was very fun and family-friendly. The staff was friendly and upbeat. We ordered a couple of drinks; the Gangster Scientist (a beer my husband was very pleased with!) and a Hibiscus Paloma which I thought was very good as well. For food we got the Smash Burger and the Chicken Sandwich! Both which came with fries. We both rate the fries 10/10!! Battered, seasoned and crispy pretty much perfectly. The burger was delicious, although pretty messy (that's good or bad depending on opinion lol) The chicken sandwich had great flavor, but I thought could have used more sauce as it felt kind of dry. I give it a 7/10, it was good but I probably wouldn't order it again and try something else. But overall we were very pleased with our experience and we can't wait to go there again!
