Excellent! I visited this location when it was under different ownership a long time ago and have wanted to try the new version for quite a while. Went for the first time this morning and I'm SO full. Fat and happy. I had a breakfast burrito (no meat) with a side of Cajun home fries. It's served with homemade salsa and there's a choice between mild and hot. I went all in with hot and the salsa was perfect. Sour cream is included as well. Delicious and gigantic...even without the meat (which was my choice...it normally comes with meat inside that giant pocket of breakfast goodness). It seems like there were a dozen eggs and pounds of cheese (menu said pepper jack but this cheese seemed milder) in there....accompanied by lightly grilled onions. The home fries were delicious and just spicy enough for the first meal of the day. I usually like very well done potatoes, but these were cooked just right...a few crunchy bites here and there with the soft, spiced red potatoes taking over for texture. Not greasy, either. Score. Rave reviews on the eggs Benedict. I tasted the sauce....VERY rich...and again....holy generous portion, batman. Coffee is good and strong. Service is fast and friendly. The decor is "modern-throwback-diner" and the whole place is super clean. Lots of regulars poured in and the folks that work there quickly hustled over with the drinks that those regulars wanted (before ordering)...and some conversation, of course. The breakfast and lunch menus are extensive and have something for everyone. Check the specials board...today they had chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes as one of the options....I almost went there.... but decided on protein instead of diabetes. Next time. Prices are beyond reasonable. Only want a piece of french toast? $3. My gigantic burrito was about $8. Coffee is $2.50 with free refills. So glad I finally made it here; I'll definitely be back.

Love the new space - much more comfortable than the old Eli's space. The food is very real - housemade corned beef hash with homemade corned beef. Individually made pancakes. Eric. Some are executed better than others. The burrito was amazing with fluffy cheesy eggs. The corned beef hash was a bit dried out.

Cute place- friendly staff. We tried the breakfast burrito very heavy so bring your appetite. Overall flavor average. Corn beef hash was hearty with big chinks of potatoes and beef. Pancakes were huge!!

We love this place, moving and getting bigger was not good for this place, waiting 45 minutes for eggs is a joke

In fact, this location is in a marine on an alcove and has several slips for docking. The restaurant has outdoor dining on the large patio overlooking the water or along the deck. We were pleasantly suprised with the quality of food and service. The server was courteous, welcoming, and funny. Every one of our needs was attended to throughout the experience. I ordered a portabello mushroom sandwich with housemade fries. It was served with a balsamic glaze and a portion of their homemade garlic aioli which aside from that would have mad the meal fully vegan. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger topped with melted cheese and crispy thick smokey bacon, not that thin chain restaurant stuff. He really enjoyed it. With a Fiddlehead IPA draft it was an excellent meal. Did I mention how great the server was? Talk about being made to feel at home, we were treated like regulars. I hope the surgery goes well! We were made to feel like family and with the conversation with other customers I feel like that's how everyone gets treated which is awesome!! If you are taking a historic tour of the revolutionary war sites from the Saratoga Battlefields up to the surrender point at old Saratoga, now Schuylerville, or if you are cruising on the Hundson, stop in to The Alley Bar and Grill for an affordable meal and a delightful experience!

This is probably a more popular place during warmer months when a patio is open and boat docking is available along the Hudson River. There was only one table of four being served when we arrived at 6 p.m. on a Sunday. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the place is noticeably clean. There was a special on Wings, order 6 and get a dozen for the same price ($13.95). We chose the Whisky BBQ sauce to go with our Fiddlehead IPAs ($6/pint). The wings were meaty and tasty buy not real crispy. My wife didn't notice any whisky flavor, but I thought I did. We also tried the Fish Bites ($8.95) - pieces of haddock breaded and deep fried. They were a nice change from chicken fingers. While my wife ordered their Hawaiian Chicken Wrap Special ($10.95) - with pineapple BBQ sauce, provolone, and a side of cabbage salad, I had their French Dip ($12.95) - with onions, sauteed mushrooms, provolone, au jus, and a side of potato salad. Both dishes were very tasty and plentiful. We each ended up taking half of our meal home for next day's lunch. The food here comes across as home style and is a good value. I'd like to get back once the patio is open and try the hush puppies, a burger, and some of the desserts.
